This blade is over priced, and while it cuts wood quite well, be careful not to hit any nails or other hard material such as concrete as this will wipe your blade out. One would think that for the price paid for this blade, it would be carbide tipped, but it is only made from high speed steel. I like the hint from another reviewer that used his dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to re-grind teeth in the blade to get a little more life out of the blade. While it does not work quite as well as the original new blade, it does work marginally well -- which saves you money. Maybe Fein will someday get a clue, and make a quality blade, or charge a more reasonable price for the inferior quality blade they produce.

THe Fein Multimaster has to be the greatest values I have ever bought. And this flush cut blade is one of the reasons. We run a millwork company which can be rough on tools but this thing is tough. When I first purchased it I didn't really believe that it would do an half the things they said it would. So we purchased it strictly as a high priced detail sander and bought a few extras just to try it out. But wow, this thing will do it all, and very well too. So MULTIMASTER is exactally what it is!

I didn't want a heavier drill so I got this one especially because it had a 1/2" chuck. It is nice and light as you would expect of a 12 volt. The test was going to be how much torgue it had. I used it for a project requiring running 1-1/4, 2 and 3" screws into wood studs. The drill did not hesitate and ran the screws in better than I had figured. You can tell this is a professional drill. I only have it for a few weeks so this review doesn't address long term use. Also, it is interesting how Panasonic and Makita are going to what is supposed to be the better NiMh batteries instead of the NiCd batteries which this drill has. The plastic exterior of the drill seems a little cheap but overall good.

Bought 2 batteries with this drill. Drill is super, great, powerful, reliable. BUT, one of the 2 batteries never did hold a charge for long. NOW, I can't locate another to replace it! What's with Hitachi??

I have an old 1990 version of this sander, and recently I used this latest version. The newer one has much less vibration and it is much quieter than the old, however it is much more difficult to clamp-in the quarter sheets of sandpaper. In the old version, the clamps opened up wider and you could easily shove the sheet well past the clamps and easily reposition it. In the newer one, the entire mechanism is way too tight and frustrating. This finishing palm sander is a decent tool, however the struggle to change out the sanding sheets is a major problem which greatly detracts from the utility of the tool. Thick sheets of coarse sandpaper are especially problematic.

My old Makita finishing sander gave great service for over 5 years, so I replaced it with the new BO4552. The new sander is even quieter, smoother, and the dust pickup works better.

I purchased this case to fit one of my two 4 1/2" Makita grinders: an old 9503BH and a new 9564CV. The case appears to be made for a specific Makita 4 1/2" grinder.

My older grinder fits pretty well but not perfectly. For example, there is a cutout in the lid of the case to snap-in the grinder handle. My handle is smaller than the cut-out and it falls out when you close the lid.

My newer grinder has a longer and more slender body. It is too long for the impression in the case, and the lid will not close. I generally prefer metal cases because they are much less bulky, and they can be padded with foam to achieve a custom fit for your tool. This would be a great case, if you happen to have the model that it was made for.

When I purchased this case for my Makita 9565CV 5" angle grinder, the description said that it accomodated ALL 4" to 5" grinders. When I tried my grinder in the case, it did not fit. I called Makita and was told that this case was for the 4 1/2" grinder ONLY.
I used a heat gun to heat up the plastic and then put the grinder in the case and now it fits like a glove! This can probably be done with other 5" Makita grinders, but I believe the case would fit the 4" and 4 1/2" grinders as described.
The case itself is a little different than most Makita cases. It has a place to store the spanner wrench as well as the handle and also a place for grinder discs. It is a good case for the money.

It has powerful suction, but I can't find replacement bags anywhere. You shouldn't have to go to so much trouble locating bags. They should be offered with the vaccuum cleaner. The cleaner easily tips over when using, and all the attachments fall out. The hose doesn't seem to be long enough, and there should be a better handle to hold on to.

What a nice surprise for me to find this great vacuum from Panasonic. I've been spoiled with central vac for years til it finally gave out. I researched and decided to go with this little number -- and does it have suction. I actually think it works better than my central vac. It's a great lightweight machines the handles with ease. I am pleasantly surprised with this cannister machine and only wish it had come with more than one bag! Okay, so I've got to have one complaint, right? It's a keeper

While I have a regular wet tile saw for straight cuts, I needed something to make a cutout for the electrical outlet that overlaps the top of my new ceramic tile backsplash. This "Enkay" brand bit, made in China, did the job nicely, leaving small parallel ridges along the cut edge of the tile.

I don't expect this item to have a particularly long life (it is marked as "not for floor tile", which differs from wall tile only in thickness), but that's generally the case with rotary tool bits.

I got this kit when the similar few bits that came with my mini-tool did not have the profiles I needed. I wanted to write more information on the back of my kitty's tags, such as alternate phone numbers. This kit gave me the choices I needed.

The end tip of the bit I used was a little out-of-center from the shaft, but I found if I wrote with the bit tipped like a normal pen, instead of straight up & down like a drill bit, it worked pretty good.

Most of the other bits seemed more uniform. This kit does the job I need, and is an awesome price. If you are looking for very high precision items then I think you should first start with this kit, because you are going to pay more than what this costs for each bit otherwise. But if you only want the best, this may not be for you.

If a 3/8" air rachet was included, this item would be the perfect starter kit.

I love this tool! I have 2 Makita cordless driver/drills and another DeWalt, and this is the one I always reach for first. None of the other brands of "stick" or hinged drivers come close to it's performance. The sensitive trigger allows for fine speed control which lets me use this for everything from taking apart my VCR to putting up drywall. The speed is fast enough for light drilling of pilot holes. I find it especially useful with a countersink bit for deburring holes in sheet metal. The small size/light weight make it convenient for use overhead or in small spaces. The batteries last long enough for most projects, but don't take too long to recharge. The only problem I have had with it is when you use it on the highest torque level of the clutch, "15", it vibrates enough to shift it down to 14. On the negative side, it tends to be kind of pricey. I bought mine new for $80 several years ago, but I now see it for over $120 routinely. It is sometimes available as a freebie with some of the bigger DeWalt cordless tool sets.

Very accurate, compact, I would recommend the Accutire MS-4021B. It's the same price ($9.99) from amazon, and has a backlit display for nighttime use.
