Excellent tool. The polisher is easy to control once you get the hang of it. It easily, quickly, and with plenty of power applied the liquid car wax I was using. The tool felt well balanced and well behaved. The speed control is delightful to experience - maintains the same speed under load or no load conditions.

The tool came with two bonnets, one to apply compound and another for final polishiing. The compounding bonnet is the only one I used since I discovered this same bonnet also polishes to a deep luster as the wax you're applying hazes over - the bonnet polishes this haze to nice deep shine. I also used a small spray bottle of water to wet small areas to help spread the wax - it worked great. I am ordering two new compounding bonnets for spares. Suggest you test out the bonnets and find out for yourself before ordering more....

I am really happy with this tool, and I feel it is well worth the money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a similar tool.

The Makita 9227 buffer is one of the top two if not the best available. It has more than enough power and with the electronic speed control, maintains RPMs even when putting pressure on the tool if used as a sander/grinder. The handle is probably the best feature of this tool, giving you great control when buffing/polishing.

Great polisher,easy to use,plenty of power,I would highly recomend the polisher to anyone.I dont like the polishing pads that came with it(they work good but get fuzz everywhere)I planned on getting foam pads anyway.

Our company bought a few of these drills about 5yrs ago. They are all still going strong (the Bosch drills have burned up). Most drills rated by the manufacturers for 7/8" say they can handle 7/8" drilling periodically, but their mainstay is 1/4-1/2". These Milwaukee drills have been put through the wringer with our guys using up to 1&1/8" hammer bits going through solid block walls with very little effort. Milwaukee's 3/8" hammer is also a strong workhorse that is worth every cent.

This Milwaukee 1\2" 5370-6 Hammer Drill gets the job done! I had a DeWalt cordless hammer drill for 3 years and except for masonry mortar work, it was just a good drill that was a play toy at cracking and drilling concrete! When I found this Milwaukee model at a close out price, I purchased it and sold the cordless. I shouldn't have waited this long . I always wanted the Milwaukee drill. Powerful, reliable, lightweight, built like a tank and indestructible! It will drill through anything I can put in front of it. This is a very high quality tool with a Great reputation. I though I could kill two birds with one drill?! NOT! Got a new "Cordless Drill" separately for convenience and this Milwaukee to lay the hammer down! Would have been worth the full price 3 years ago, but I'll live and learn!

This Milwaukee #5370-6 1/2" MAGNUM hole shooter is the absolute best in drilling in masonry or brick. It chews it apart with little effort on the user! This tool uses the masonary bits and drives them two steps further in the implemantation of drilling holes for either fasteners to be placed inside or holes for your wires to run through. I have pysically wasted two other well known brand name drills {AEG! } because they just were not TOUGH ENOUGH. This Milwaukee drill IS tough enough to do the job and I just wish I had bought this in the first place. If you are going to do a job: use the right tool and go to Milwaukee Tools as they have the toughest tools that outlast the jobs!

For more than ten years this tool has never failed to function perfectly. I like the forward and reverse rocker switch. When used by a "lefty" the switch is easily operated by the index finger. For right hand operation the thumb is used. Another great feature is the lock switch which prevents the tool from accidentially being turned on. For example, if you want to snug up a screw by hand you can lock the switch off. Locking the tool before placing it in your tool box prevents accidential turn on while in storage. The battery removes easily and seems to always run longer than I expect it would. Of course, in ten years I have replaced them from time to time. The adjustable torque is a great feature too. It's a great tool for electrical work, electronic equipment repair, and working on door locks, etc. I have not missed variable speed since a quick on/off works well. I often underestimate its power. The two speed model might be worth checking on if you want to drill with it. My two single speed units give me good control. These tools have seen a lot of service and I have never regretted the purchases!

Fantastic tool for the truck or auto tech,this is definetly a case were less is better, reffering to the voltage of the unit.It is very compact yet has a nice balance between power and it's ability to get into very tight spaces.The driver is very well constructed, so is the charger ,all of which are produced in Japan,which means you are getting quality.The package also includes a jabobs chuck and chuck key, 2 batteries, a high impact carrying case and some assortyed bits.Add a good bit selection for some real versatility
.From the use I have had so far I can tell you the batteries are long lasting and the unit has been trouble free.I would recommend the offset as an assesory,it comes in very handy.Don't let the lower voltage fool you,this is a very effective tool.If your looking for a more powerful unit look to the Dewalt driver, but is is not as nearly as compact ,the price paid for more power.I personally have both of the drivers and each has it's place.This is a killer package from Milwaukee, and a must have addition to your tool chest,you will not be sorry with your choice.

This is the best screw driver I have ever used for working on computers. With the clutch set at 1 I can drive screws in any computer component with out fear of over tightening. I have been using this screw driver for 7 years now on all things computer related and have absolutely no complaints. I have even driven screws into plastic with out stripping them.

The two speed setting is great most of the time I leave it in high with the clutch on one and don't think about it. There are the times with the occasional sticky screw where you might need to turn the clutch up and set the speed to low but the screw driver has the ability to do that with in easy reach of your thumb.

The rocker switch between forward and reverse makes it easy to take the screw back out that you just mistakenly put in.

I can't think of a more essential tool for working on computers that this screw driver

I am so thrilled with the purchase of this saw. I never would have thought that I would be ordering a saw from Amazon.com! But I have built up such a trust with them with many book purchases that I decided to take the chance!

This saw has everything I need at a price I could afford. I researched for several weeks before making this purchase. In the past with the older saws that I have it would take anywhere from 2-5 min, or longer if something went amiss to reset for each setup for fretwork, with this saw it takes a mere few seconds. This saw is heaven !!

I am in the process of getting ready to retire. My plan is not to hibernate but to stay active, and keep my mind in good shape. I hit on the idea of a scroll saw last summer and have spent the months searching for the best one for me. I decided on the Delta 40-570 because of it's size and features. I am a machinist by trade, and enjoy working with high quality tools. This saw will provide me with the opportunity to fulfill my desires during my retirement. I enjoy working with wood and plan to build things for my house and grandkids.

This is a pricey tool and I thought long and hard before my purchase. I am soo happy that I decided to make the purchase. The shaper performs as well as it looks. It came with less than .0015 run out in the spindle and .00213 tolerance across the entire 40" of the tabletop. It's fit and finish is great and its ability to shape makes my 3hp router look wimpy. The fence system hold downs are a little arkward but time and use has settled my negitive feelings about the usefulness of the system. Do not hesitate to purchase this machine, it is a joy to have the power and accuracy given by this unit. I say this after holding my breath hoping Delta had not forgone quality for price in shifting production to Taiwan---They have not in this machine, it is the equal of the other USA machines that I have owned for many years. HOPE THIS HELPS.

I just set this machine up yesterday and I love it already. I have been in the cabinet business for years and this is the most easily adjustable fence I have ever used. This shaper is worth the price.

This drill is a great drill. There are definetly cheaper drills out there, but if you want a variable speed drill from 0-1200 RPMs this is the drill for you. There is a lot of torque. The cord is heavy duty along with the chuck. The only thing I think could be improved on is the reverse switch. It can be easily bumped to reverse the drill direction and it is also small. That's a minor complaint for an outstanding drill.

I purchased this model instead of the cheaper DeWalt 3/8" drill because I wanted something to handle the abuse I will give it. Used it to build a very large wooden outdoor fort and swingset for my boys and loved it. Had no problem with using 1 1/8" spade bit to drill counterbores. Plenty of power.

If you have become spoiled by keyless chucks, yet still have an older (likely corded) drill that performs like a champ but irks you whenever you fail to find or fitfully fumble with that foul little chuck key, this is just the ticket. It is genuine DeWalt product, so you don't have to be worried that it is made of inferior Chinese steel .... Third party Japanese Jacobs chucks of good qualtiy can be had for less, but if you are a true DeWalt diehard, you will want the genuine article.

Perhaps you never considered retrofitting your drill with a keyless chuck -- what are you waiting for?!? It is easier than you think and all you need is a large hex wrench to clamp down on. Make that Old Yeller drill feel like a pup again!

I have always wanted to try a keyless chuck on my 38 years old drill. When I came across the one by DeWalt at Amazon I thought I would try it. I made the purchase and installed it on my drill. Wow! What a difference... installing it on my drill was a snap! I no longer get the squealing and chewing of the drill bit as with the old style chuck. Inserting and locking the drill bit in the chuck is extremely easy, not to mention that there is NO key to fight to lock the bit tight enough to keep the bit from slipping, and no key to wear out or lose. I love this keyless chuck and wish I'd gotten one years ago!

Once again I bought a tool "reconditioned" from Amazon...and it looks absolutely 100% brand new to me...inside and out. All the plastic parts on the outside are new, the hardware, cord, handle, you name it. are all brand new. I would defy anyone to pick it out from one in a store that costs a lot more. I've had nothing but great luck with these reconditioned tools. Years ago I borrowed a Milwaukee polisher to work on a trailer's paint job...and was very impressed. Other makers try to copy it...but I think it's still the best..and a great deal on Amazon. The variable speed is a great feature on this one too.....

This is the best high speed buffer you can buy. I have used them for years in the past to buff out cars. Dropped them, run them over with cars, burnt the edges of paint on cars with them and made a lot of money with mine. I have had Makita and DeWalt in the past and had problems with both. The only problem I had with the Milwakee is the electrical cord shorting out. That was after years of abuse. The balance and weight of the machine also feels better. If you are an auto bodyman, painter or detailer, this is a must have tool. If you just want to wax your car you don't need this. You also can damage your paint if you don't know how to use it. If you do know how to use it, may be the last one you'll ever need.

DONT BE TAKEN IN BY LIGHT WEIGHT AND FLEXIBILITY. THESE AIR HOSES KINK UP AND COIL UP VERY EASILY. AND MOST OF THE TIME YOU HAVE A BIRDS NEST OF AIR HOSE WRAPED AROUND YOUR FEET.THEY ARE NOT VERY CUT RESISTANT EITHER.

This hose is a MUST for anyone who uses air tools on a regular basis. It is super-light and flexible, making it much easier to carry around attached to your nailer. Try using a standard rubber hose hooked to your nailer while nailing above your head all day. It is so easy to drag around and use while on a ladder or pick. Cold weather doesn't affect these hoses, they stay flexible. If you get a hole in the hose, just cut off the bad section and use a repair coupler or re-use the removeable end fitting, it is very easy to do and it's leakproof. If you're still using the old-fashioned rubber air hoses, try a Flex-Eel, you'll love it!

I've been using a 3/8" rubber hose forever until I read about the flexeel hoses. The 1/4" line drives my framing nailer with no problem...I might end up needing the bigger rubber line for air hogs like a spray gun. Anyway, the flexeel is awesome!! It really does stay flexible in cold weather and after using a rubber hose it feels like I went hoseless! Besides losing the weight of a rubber hose, I don't constantly have to fight with this hose to keep it from twisting itself into a rat's nest.

I purchased mine at a local tool supplier for a better price than Amazon. I noticed that Lowe's is carrying PVC hoses that look like the flexeel, but I am skeptical. The flexeel is polyurethane.
