The item sent to me was not the item pictured. Thus it would not fit in my grinder.

The picture is wrong but it is a DeWalt DW4523. The big difference from the picture is the hole is threaded.

THis scafold unit has proved invaluable on my job sites.I own 4 of these,all with guard rails and 2 with outriggers.This system is easy to set up and provides me with a comfort level to leave the jobsite knowing the workers are safe.I have used other systems and the guard rails were usually not used because they were too restictive.You should use pins at all attachment points including the horizontal rails as I have found that the unit are strong enough for 2 men and I like the added safety measure.I highly recommend this system and have used these for at least 3 years.Finally I should note that occasionally I transport a complete unit in my mini-van.I do wish they would make a shorter frame section of about 40" as this would be helpful and you would not require outriggers.

I was aware that this compressor is rated as "low duty". Household etc. However, it is supposed to deliver 125psi, up to a duty cycle of 30 minutes. And that is all I need to clean computer interiors etc. 3 or 4 times a week in our shop, which it was intended for.

First I realize that the air-flow in CFM is very low, (and not specified in the manual). I connected it to a 6 gallon air tank I have around, which fills in about 8 minutes to 90 psi. Good enough for my purposes, and 8 minutes run-time (with at least 1 hour stop in between) is well within the specs. This setup worked for exactly one week and approx. a total pump run-time of 30 minutes. Yesterday I started the pump and 1 minute later I get this smell of burn. It turns out that one of the 2 (sewing machine size) motors had burned out. (Yes, I took it apart although that voids the warranty. I'm abroad and returning it to the manufacturer is more expensive than another compressor).

Well. On the sticker attached to the compressor it says "built to last". They did not mention "built to last beyond 30 minutes..." I expected a bit more than that.

Bottom line: This is about the last compressor you want to buy for anything else than inflating a football once in a while.

The replacement collet shown is either a 1/2" to 1/4" replacement collet or a 3/8" to 1/8" replacement collet. BEWARE the item you will be sent (DW6617) is a 3/8" to 1/4" collet adapter for a DeWalt cutting tool (not a router) and does not match what is shown in the picture.

I HAVE TWO DEWALT LAMINATE TRIMMERS....ONE WITH A STRAIGHT CUT BIT AND ONE WITH A BEVEL BIT....I USE THESE EVERYDAY TO INSTALL KITCHENS AND COUNTERTOPS....THESE HEADS ARE WORTHLESS... THERE IS A ALUMINUM GEAR THAT DRIVES THE BELT AND BOTH OF MY ROUTERS THAT GEAR HAS SHATTERED, NOT TO MENTION THEY GO THRU BELTS LEFT AND RIGHT.SO IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A OFFSET LAMINATE TRIMMER LOOK FOR ANOTHER BRAND....IF YOU ALLREADY HAVE THE MOTOR AND NEED A OFFSET BASE--WELL BEST OF LUCK TO YOU WITH THESE JUSK PRODUCTS.

Our company have bought a few grinders and we have a lot of problems with them. In two months e=we have exchange four machines, so what you think haw you could rated? For us -5 is the best rate. The number 1-star I did put just becouse you did refusd my inquires.

As with many Dremel bits and accessories this item breaks or wares out quickly. This accessory is only good for very small jobs.
