I was looking for replacement batteries after the originals failed to perform. I looked around and found a another brand that has a direct replacement. Then I found this offer for two DeWalt replacement batteries at the super low price, I had to purchase these.

So far, the batteries have performed as I expected. In my case, the batteries were delivered before the estimated delivery date.

THESE ARE A EXCELLENT VALUE. AFTER A LOT OF SEARCHING LOCALLY AND ON THE INTERNET SINGLE 18 VOLT BATTERIES WERE RUNNING REAL CLOSE TO $80 DOLLARS. WHEN YOU CAN BUY TWO FOR $55 DOLLARS WHY SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE AND SPEND MORE FOR QENUINE 18 VOLT DEWALT BATTERIES.

Presumably, each DW9096 in the pack works as well as the single item (see reviews on DW9096). This is a great price for a pair. I was looking for cheap batteries for my DeWalt equipment and found a 1.4 Amp hour battery for $54, but at only a buck or two more (per battery) for these, I will get the genuine, high-capacity thing! As soon, that is, as I scrape the money together.

I was shocked when I got this combo kit. I was under the impression that all 6 tools in the combo kit would fit in the case. This was not the case. What I got was a standard 4 tool combo kit with a grinder and an angle drill in a seperate cardboard box. There is no case of any kind for the angle drill or the grinder. The drill I could live with but the grinder has 2 seperate guards, a wrench and the different grinding & cutting wheels. I think they should make it clear that there is no storage for those tools. As for the tools they are what you would expect from Dewalt

The is the perfect cordless combo set. The battery life is EXCELLENT and performed a lot longer then I expected. I have used every tools except for the Cut Off Tool which so far took care of business. To everyone out there, because this is a cordless set, this combo is meant to do small to medium projects.

I believe the circular saw combo kit is a very good machine.
Taking proper care of your circular is very important also.It can do wonders for you each time you start a new project. caring for your blades will make the cutting job a lot easier and smoothier too!

If you are looking for a package that can do it all this is the one for you. The battery life is great considering the power it puts out. This is not a toy but rather a very serious tool. You probably can spend less but you truly get what you pay for in this little black box. The hammerdrill capability is wonderful and I was a bit sceptic that I could actually have a cordless masonry tool that actually can do the job. The chuck tightens the bits with more power than I have ever seen. The bit never slips even in tough situations. Dewalt is a great name and they have raised the mark with this tool. It has enough power for the tough jobs without the big weight of going 24v.

I have used Panasonic cordless drills for 10+ years now and can tell you that they are by far the best cordless product out there.I have a 15.6 volt drill and have used and abused it for 7 years and it still works flawlessly. Would highly recommend getting a cordless Panasonic.

I just received this set for putting up kitchen cabs and also used for drilling those pesky screws into cbu's. batteries last forever and ever. also charges my 18v panasonic batts in about an hour which is a plus. impact drill is super powerful and has good build quality. interesting that it is made in Japan and the drill is made in Mexico but both seem to be sturdy enough to withstand abuse.all in all I recommend.

dewalt is one of the best tools on the market but i can beat your prices easy because my friend owns is own business and i help him get best buy for is money, because with the rising cost of insurance just to stay in business plus with 4 work vechicles, bond insurance libility umbrella ins. fuel cost tool cost payroll etc....

enough power to do the job. compact and light for easy handling.

I bought this set in early 2002 because I was a couple hours away from my cordless drill, which I needed, and this set was on sale. What a great purchase! The saw is as powerful as any reciprocating saw out there, cordless or otherwise. I especially appreciate DeWalt's easy blade changing method (no tools required, just flip the yellow lever by the blade). The drill is the best cordless drill on the market that I've yet seen. For normal at-home use, the battery life will never be a problem, but as has been said in other cordless reviews (for ANY brand), the batteries will wear out more quickly with heavy use. Keep them charged and pick up a spare or two if you can. Like I already said, you won't find anything better without a cord, and both are better than most with cords.

I'm not so sure about the recondintioned combo kit, but the new version is superior to other cordless kits I've owned in the past. I've used many different cordless kits and Ridgid has to be the best.

� Recipricating Saw (Sawzall) is also really powerful for a cordless tool - will run down battery life much quicker than the other tools.
� Even the goofy little flashlight does it's job and has a few convenient features so you can position right where you need it.
� Finish charging 2 batteries at an impressive 30 minutes - well surpassing the charge time of DeWalt, Milwaulkee, Craftsman - you name it.

The saws in this combo definitely eat up a lot of juice at once, but as long as you have a place to charge your batteries, you shouldn't have to sit around waiting for things to charge at you jobsite.

These are heavy duty tools that do not disappoint. The 3.0 amp-hr batteries and the 28-min charger are the icing on the cake. As with ALL Hitachi tools, these are smooth and quiet-running, with minimal vibration. The heavy-duty ratcheting steel chuck on the hammer drill, the built-in worklight on the circular saw, and the effortless blade change on the recip saw are all added bonuses as well.
The kit is pricey but all in all a lot of quality for the money.

I have had this kit for a few weeks now, the hammer drill is great, the buildings here are all concrete, i use about 50 tapcon scews on a set of cabinets, its one less cord to drag around. The saw turns less rpm than a corded saw, you get a lot less sawdust blowing in your face, i like not having to stock a different size blade.
