    Cordless Tools Review Husqvarna 136
I recently purchased a USED Husky 136 with a 14 inch bar and chain, from a local repair shop. It is a 1999 year model. I took the top cover off, pulled the spark plug and checked the cylinder head, and top of the piston for scoring, sludge, or anything out of the ordinary..it was clean so I put it back together, and pulled the choke, and pulled the cord..it started with 2 pulls..(once it sounds like it wants to start, push the choke in and start it!) I've so far used it to cut 9 trees that needed to be cut down. It works like a champ, and this is a USED husky! 5 stars for this one..I got a great deal on a good saw, and its saved me tons of money, and work! its light enough to cut thicket, and with a 14 inch bar I can cut up to a 26 inch tree with it..no problems!

Cordless Tools Review Great small saw
I love my 141. It's a great little saw. I used it to clear 1/2 acre of trees, up to 60' white pine and douglas firs. It handled them without complaint. It's best strength is it's light weight. It's perfect for trimming branches and felling smaller trees. If I were going to do more heavy work with it, I would trade up, but I think she'll last me quite some time.

    Cordless Tools Review Great Saw
I work for a tree company, on the ground, and when it takes more
than the 14" ground saws we usually use this. Going on two years and it still fires up and works great. Good buy for the money!

Cordless Tools Review a pleasure to use
having started with a Husky 55 Rancher, i need a move into a larger saw for pithing large log sections. I was looking for the 372xp however it's no longer made in the USA and it's replacement (575xp) is reportedly a 'dog'. therefore, the 385xp was the next solution.

this is a sweet piece of equipment. with a 28" bar and a rip-chain, it cuts through crotches and piths-out like butter. it's a bit heavier than the 372xp, but it's got the needed power. the bar adjuster and oiler are in a good location, and has a excellent balance to it.

highly recommend this saw and hope amazon will soon re-stock it.

Cordless Tools Review How sweet it is
I am sorry I didn't buy this tool sooner. It does a beautiful job. I have the big Dewalt power plane with a 7+ Amp motor. It has a lot of power for hogging out material but the chute doesn't keep up. It clogs pretty easily . Then there's the cord. Have you ever been in the middle of a crucial cut and the stinking cord hangs up on you creating a nice divot or burn mark on your piece. That problem is a thing of the past now. I hesitated to buy this little planer , thinking it wouldn't have enough power to be useful. Boy was I wrong. It totally surprized me how nicely it glides through the material . It is so light and easy to control .You never have to check the cord or grit your teeth and hope it's long enough. It won't clog up like the big Dewalt does. The fence is well made and makes accurate cuts easier. The reversible carbide blades are great. There is a chamfer groove built into the front shoe like on others'.It Does anything any other power plane will do. It's just better because it's cordless. The battery lasts quite a long time. If mine walked off the job tomorrow , I would be ordering a new one the same day.

Cordless Tools Review 12v mforce drill
This is a very well balenced drill, it has a good solid feel and allows nice control. The nickle metel hydried bat. are also a perfect match. I would recommend this drill to anyone needing
a high performence cordless drill.Better feel than Dewalt. My last Makita cordless lasted 20 years and I think this one will also.

    Cordless Tools Review Battery Pack
You sell the blower without the battery. You then sell the battery as a seperate item with no mention that the charger is not part of the purchase. Then you have to guess that the battery pack does not include the charger that I had to go out and purchase as a seperate item at a local Makita distributor. Not very good merchandising.

Cordless Tools Review Great Ni-Mh Battery
Makita has came of age with the NiMh batteries. NO MEMORY means they can be charged at any time reguardless of the batteries current state of charge. Run time with the NiMh battery is outstanding, lasting for several hours longer than NiCad style batteries. I have used mine in my 12V drill literally for days with excellent output. You'll need one of the Makita chargers("usually BUT NOT ALWAYS" supplied with new cordless tools) that is designed to charge NiMh batteries. All in all I'd rate this battery 5 stars. You'll be well pleased if you upgrade to the NiMh batteries for your cordless tool power needs!!!
