Nearly thereIt would be a real advantage to have a bit holder on the driver itself instead of on the charger. Buy a magnetic bit extension so you can use those bits they sell on the hardware counter at 5 for a buck!
It's time for new batteries, since the ones I have are tired out. Not sure how long they last since the driver and batteries were used when I got it. If they last like the driver, I'll be a one happy camper.

GruntyIt weighs 820g (1lb 13oz) compared with only 700g for the 3Ah 'N' battery; and 520g (1lb 2oz) for the 'C' battery (but then a charge should last 3 times as long as the 'C'). To gain the extra capacity the cells are almost square, giving them a larger cross-sectonal area. This leaves very little space inside the battery pack - hence the screws on the outside.
I've read of the previous NiMh 'N' battery packing up in as little as seventeen months. A friend has had two for nearly two & half years without trouble, but he never lets them run down. If he uses them at work during the day, they go straight onto the charger when he gets home. Maybe that's the secret to long life for NiMh batteries.
The weight and the 55min charging time would be the only negatives.
Buy it without reservations.

Hard to beat at this price rangeCons: There are a few. As mentionned many times already, the grip offered by the two bit holders is rather iffy, though if you press down on the bits hard enough they SHOULD remain in place. The quick-release chuck won't "grab" double-ended bits. For drilling chores, it can only accept hex-shank drill bits, which are somewhat hard to find in stores. The speed selector doesn't always switch over smoothly (a blip from the main trigger switch is usually enough to "unstick" it). The driver's angle setting locks in at odd places; the detents should've been at 45° and 90°. There's no status LED to tell you that the unit is charging. The charging jack is located in a very odd place (right at the hinge, where it's inaccessible unless the tool's angle is flat). Battery is non-replacable. There's no carrying case, and only one drill bit is included (but then, it's hard to justify such nit-pickings at this price).
Summary: Despite its flaws, this cordless driver offers the most bang for the buck. Definitely recommended... Just be mindful of its limitations (vs. the low price point).
Excellent product, and I received it free!
A great purchaseI'm not one to use a screw driver much a nd am usually fine with the $.99 manual screw driver. But occasionally, I'd be assembling a product of some kind and run into a machine tightened screw that I had to kill myself to get out. So, I purchased this product and I could not be happier.
For the price, I would have been happy with just a screw driver, but the included flash light (a weak flash light but good for what it is), tape measure and drilling capability made it a great value. The adjustable pivoting handle seemed odd when I purchased it but feels very natural when you actually use it and has helped me in a few tight places.
I'm sure there are people who do professional work (like building cabinets and such) that this is not suitable for but for someone who just wants a good home screwdriver with a little power, you can't beat this.

Falls Short
Very Good ProductI use it both in the shop and around the house for the immediate pick-up jobs, especially when I don't feel like dragging out the shop vac and cord. The abililty to take it wherever you don't have an outlet is a real plus. It has good suction for a portable vacuum. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great for quick jobsIf you own the batteries and charger already, go for it. If not, just go buy a small shop vac. I love mine mainly because I had four 18 volt batteries already.

Very impressive
Does what I wanted it to doI have been pleased with this product and would recommend it. Much easier & handier to get out instead of the hassle of dragging out a broom & dustpan, making piles, then crouching down & sweeping it into the manual dustpan. This is much easier for me being a busy mom of 2 kids ages 1 & 2.
I have only 2 minor complaints which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. One is that it doesn't get smaller dust particles on uneven floors. My saltillo tile naturally is bumpy & imperfect and this sweeper doesn't get the stuff that falls into the grooves as well as I'd like. This sweeper would be PERFECT for laminate or wood floors though! My second complaint is that it does tend to flip over on carpet. I found that if you use it backwards on carpet, it tends to not flip over & still gets the crumbs. But I didn't buy it for carpet. I just mainly wanted it to use in the kitchen.
Love this!It is not great on stairs or in corners but still worth the buy!
is however a bit on the hefty side and does not have an attachment location for keeping a screwdriver bit. This can be inconvenient for some applications. Overall a well made and reliable tool. It has come in handy for many jobs already, and I have only had it for a few months.
