Cordless Tools Review Three blade pack
Each of these blades is good enough to make those cheep chinese saws run like the high dollar ones. The thin blade cuts fast and clean in wood, plywood and non-ferris metal. After a year or two of use they still cut like new. This is money well spent.

Cordless Tools Review Great power for low voltage battery!
When I purchased the Dewalt drill that only used a 9.6v battery pack, I was wanting to buy a more powerful tool but they were out of the higher voltage drills and I had to have one that day so I got the 9.6v drill. And to my amazement, the drill has performed beautifully and after 4 years, the batteries are just now beginning to slow down and lose their life. I use the drill far more often than I thought I would and so far its been through the remodelling of our home, the rebuilding of a carriage house and the building of a large shop. And numerous other household uses. I am glad now that I got the drill that used the lower voltage battery simply because it does every thing I need it to do and seems to have as much power and long life as the larger, more bulky battery packs. I highly recommend this battery pack made by Dewalt!

Cordless Tools Review An Excellent Battery
This 18v DeWalt battery is just as tough as the drill it plugs into. It is drop shock resistant and can be left on the charger with no ill effects. Although not as long lasting as its 18v XR counterpart, hence the 4 stars, it will still deliver all the power you need to get the job done.

Cordless Tools Review Tin Knockers' delight.
The tool to have when cutting in that " 60X20 inch starting collar" into 20 gage existing duct! Shear blades remain sharp with careful use after two years. Slightly underpowered at 14 volts. Battery and radius cut potential diminish as you would expect, with heavier gages. Will shear 18 ga., as advertised. At $300 plus, a luxury unless your a frequent user.

Cordless Tools Review higher cost for the better built
I own several high-end tools from various manufacturers. They all function well. DeWalt (Black & Decker by another name) has made a sturdy line of tools. Other manufacturers will claim that should a DeWalt tool break, their parts and labor are the costliest in the tool industry. For example, a replacement switch on DeWalt's cordless right-angle drill costs upward from 75 dollars compared to a mere 25 dollars for the switch on the Makita competing drill. The DeWalt's right angle drill switch is unique. In tight spaces, you are not limited to a small trigger style switch; rather you have a long switch that is accessible and depressible with the ill-powered pinky finger from either hand. The DW955 has 2 speeds, a must to claim the title of Drill/Driver. Similar to its competitors, it is short with a small right-angle head configuration. The 9.6 Volt versions have the right amount of torque and are light enough to reach out and drill in the most awkward spaces, no toolbox should be without one! DeWalt's were made with durability in mind, and unless you 'drop test' it, it will work for you forever!

Cordless Tools Review DW999K-2
It's great to finally have an 18-volt version available from DeWalt. Now I don't have to drag a 50' extension cord behind me every time I need to install Tapcon fasteners or lag shields to mount enclosures or conduit straps. I had considered the DeWalt DW004 24-volt hammer but didn't care for the extra bulk or the idea of having to change to another battery system, primarily because I already have and use a collection of other DeWalt 18-volt tools. The DW999 is fast and does hit surprisingly hard, even harder than the Bosch 24-volt, which I do not own but have had the opportunity to use frequently in the past. It does feel slightly nose heavy and unbalanced, with or without the battery installed, compared to the older corded Bosch 11212VSR (predecessor of the Bosch 11224VSR) that I'm used to. This means you need to apply a little more forearm when using a Condrive tool for fastening or when reaching out to drill one- handed from a ladder or platform. Speaking for myself, in this type of work situation, the D-handle as this tool has, is the only way to go. The rotation-only feature does add versatility and comes in handy for using an SDS to straight (geared) chuck adapter to drill wood or light metal, but a stop-rotation impact only feature would also have been nice to allow for light use of a scaling chisel to smooth out seams and remove slag on poured concrete walls for mounting electrical boxes or conduits. Because it is reversible though, my primary field-use for this tool is for installing 3/16" and " Tapcon fasteners, " to 3/8" conical masonry anchors and 3/8" to " lag shields with a maximum hole size of 5/8". Battery life for this type of work has been better than expected but it's still a good thing that the kit includes two XR packs because you will definitely need them both for any type of extended use. If you need to use it on the go a lot, the vehicle charger may also be a good investment. The plastic storage case interior is a little small and doesn't have much room to store bits, attachments or boxes of fasteners, so you'll need to allocate more storage space in your already overcrowded service vehicle for these items. Overall, I am pleased with the tools performance and even with the high price, which I feel is a lot for an SDS hammer with a 7/8" capacity rating, it has proven itself to be an asset, as most cordless tools are, through time saved and convenience. I would recommend it for individuals who routinely install light to medium duty small diameter fasteners and need to do this type of work in job site areas where power is either difficult to obtain or unavailable.

Two more unrelated productivity tools I would like to see DeWalt make available for my service truck are an 18-volt " heavy duty right-angle (RAD) drill similar to Milwaukee's 3109-21 and a 18-volt fluorescent area work light similar to Bosch's 3450K.

Cordless Tools Review More than Golf
I frankly have zero interest in golf, but I did need a portable, light-duty rotary tool for cleaning battery contacts and light buffing, and this one does very well. It runs on disposable AA alkaline batteries rather than a rechargeable battery pack, and I consider that a plus, since it results in lower immediate cost and avoids the irritating self-discharge characteristics and lengthy recharge times of NiCd and NiMH batteries. Torque is limited, but ample for things other than metal grinding or wood routing. It's a useful tool.

Electric Lawn Mower: Cordless 15in Red
Made by Bully

Cordless Tools Review Not exactly a "bully", but satisfies many of my requirements.
I have a very small lawn, and no garage - just basement storage. So, I wanted a light mower that I could carry up and down the bulkhead once a week and would trim the small lawn. The Bully has done pretty well. I love the fold up feature, which lets me store the mower in a small area. I don't mind the reduced (15") cutting path. It only takes 20 minutes to mow my lawn anyway. I love the rechargeable feature. Tons better than using long extension cords.

It's not a very powerful mower, so don't expect it to chop through 6 inches of thick spring grass. You have to keep up with the lawn.

    Bits of information:
If you want to adjust the wheel height, make sure to turn the mower on its side. It's much easier that way.
Make sure to charge 24 hours before first mowing. Don't be impatient.
The mower holds a charge better after you charge it 2 or 3 times. So, if it's bogging down the first time you use it, it should get better.
