My vacuum can breathe again. YEA. This is a great product, fits perfectly and will help your suction return to orignial strength.

I bought my Porter Cable vacuum because it is a quality product that PC put some thought into as to what it would be used for. This is also true of something as simple as the bags for the vacuum. They are of a heavier paper then I have seen on other products which should allow them to hold up to the nasty stuff. The other feature which is very simple but VERY useful is the fact that you can seal the bag as soon as you remove it from the vacuum. Typical Porter Cable product, excellent.

In our business of hanging and repairing doors and jambs, the portabilty of tools is important to me. To not have cords in the way when cutting hinge mortises or cutting in lites really speeds up the process. Both the router and jig saw have the power and speed of their corded counterparts. I've used the 1/4 heavy duty shank slotted to turn like sized screws (3/16 to 5/16, at the most!) with wonderful results. Used properly, this Master Mechanic product has provided me with hours of practical use and pleasure. I highly recommend it for said purposes. When the shank slotted is instead used to fulfill McGyver-esque delusional fantasies, more may be asked from this product than it can deliver (hence bending or chipping). Used correctly, the Master Mechanic 1/4 inch slot will deliver for years.

This is a very solid product made for a lot of years of usage. I like the fact that it handles 1/2" to 1 1/2" thick material with centerline to center of hole adjustment from 5/16" to 1 1/4" depending on the width of the material, which kregs does not do. Considering price and the extra feature, I think that this is a better buy than Kreg.

I recently purchased the Quikdrive and have found that it greatly speeds and eases the installation of drywall. The only drawback is the increased cost of the screws in the strip form, but this is more than offset by the time saved in installation. If you have ever reached into a pouch to get a handfull of screws and stuck your finger on a screw, you will find that this method is a lot less painful. I haven't had the tool long enough to test its durability, but it looks to be solid and built for the long haul. I am a little short of 6' tall, and this tool allows me to shoot screws into an 8' ceiling standing on the floor. All in all this is worth the price, especially if you do drywall for a living.

We design and build up to 50 decks a year. This is only possible with the Quickdrive System. The collated screws are fast, faster and fastest of any other tool we have ever used. To give you an example. I timed my best worker installing cedar 5/4" X 6" decking, 16" o.c.. In 60 seconds he was able to install 6 screws using screws from the pouch. With the Quickdrive System, he was able to install 30 screws in less than 60 seconds without bending over and without having to kneel down. By the way the collated screws come 30 to a strip. The worker was able to reload before his 60 seconds were up. The Quickdrive System paid for itself in a very short time. Thank the guys in the R&D Depts. You did your job well.

I love this lantern. It is durable, efficient, reliable -- perfect for a power outage as well as camping. A great, practical gift for anyone you care about.
It's easy to carry, compared to other models. It brightens an entire room and provides enough light to read by. You don't have to recharge it every few months as required by the rechargeable versions.
During a power outage when the whole neighborhood went dark, we were all lit up. Everyone thought we still had electricity.
In Emergency Preparedness training we were taught that having light in the darkness can be a life saver. Always carry a small, bright flashlight with you -- you never know. And be sure you have a Ryovac Spotsman 8D Fluorescent Lantern. :-)

Unit works right out of the box. Just add fuel and plug it in. I doesn't get simpler than this. With the optional thermostat you just set it and forget it. It'll outlast you on most jobs with a full tank of fuel. Safe and economical performance. (just don't point the end at anything that'll burn). A safe distance is around 4 or more feet in front where heat comes out. I don't know what the maker recommends but that distance works quite well for me. Now I wouldn't leave the building with one of these running for any period of time. Outside there's no problem heating in the general direction where you're working. This thing throws quite a bit of heat for it's size. It is noisy and you won't be able to talk on the phone when using it in the same room, but for utility heat nothing compares. I've seen places that used those hanging heaters replace them with one of these things.
