Good suction...but...
Useful for cleaning up after toddlersThis vac is very useful for spills around the house and so light my 2 year old loves to help me vaccuum with it. It is easy to see what has been picked up and to empty.
I actually bought a second one of these as a shower gift for a friend.

BEST BUSTER I'VE EVER OWNED!This dustbuster is easily the best I've owned, by far. It's power is amazing ... it's like a corded vacuum when running on full power. On half power, it's still easily the most powerful dustbuster I've seen. It picks up everything no problem, and without going over he spot two or three times.
I've had the unit for about a month, and find myself pulling it out for larger messes that I would have usually rolled out my regular vacuum for. The other day I actually backed my car out of the garage and dustbusted the floor to get up little leaves and debris. I use it to pick up the spilled dry cat food from my cats; to vacuum the interior of my car; and for those small, everyday messes. A++

Excellent CleanerI was able to unpack the cleaner and start using it immediately. Very easy to use and very easy to clean. When I first started using the machine, I noticed very little water coming out and my carpet looked wet and dirty. I pushed down on the front of the machine thinking that some extra weight would help it work better. Something "clicked" into place and then the machine started picking up all kinds of dirt and water. My carpets are now clean and beautiful looking - as if cleaned professionally. Well worth the cost.
The cleaner from heavenAfter owning 2 Bissel 'dinosaurs', [one had to be attached to the faucet] the Agility feels like the machine from the future. It is designed so well, everything clicks off easily for cleaning and it's lightweight compared to other cleaners. I have 2 dogs, and this is the best thing to own. I used the attachement today for the first time, I was amazed at how easily it connects and how well it works!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this machine. Another reviewer said it was fun to use, she wasn't kidding! If you've ever owned those old 'carpet cleaners from hell', you'll be delighted with this! I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!

nice out of the box, but not for industrial useI know this is a popular tool and has garnered good reviews in comparison tests. I liked it when I first started using it but after about 500 cuts I noticed the plunger wasn't working as smoothly as before, and I keep my tools clean & oiled. The sliding mechanism was wearing out far too rapidly than a 'professional' tool should. Then one day at work it just went dead; hadn't been dropped, wasn't overheated. So I probably got about 1000 cuts on this machine. The replacement? A Lamello, what I should have gone for originally.
Great tool, except for the dust collection. This is the first plate joiner I have ever owned. I'm getting lazy, and no longer feel like cutting stopped dadoes for splines when edge gluing boards. So what to do? Buy a plate joiner! After all the positive reviews on Amazon, and the recommendations from a few people, figured the Porter Cable is the one to buy. Overall, this is a solid tool. The fence is long, and sturdy, the plunge mechanism has close tolerances so there isn't any "wiggle" (that is a highly technical term), and the micro adjust is great. If only using the dust collection bag, good luck! The tube leading into the bag clogs up, and the wood chips wind up everywhere except in the bag after cutting a few slots. Hook it up to your shop vacuum or, for you high end folk, your dust collection system, and there will be no problems.

4 STARS IN CASE THERE'S ANTHING BETTER (I DOUBT IT)Have worked as a carpenter/framer for 6 years. Have used Bosch, Dewalt, Makita cordless drills. Have used this Panasonic drill for 1 year now. VERY IMPRESSED.
Battery charge lasts longer BY FAR than any other drill I've ever used. Strong motor, light, compact, well-balanced, comfortable. Wide battery makes good base when the drill is set down. Chucking a bit is a little more fussy than with other drills, but is a very minor drawback. May not be quite as strong as some other drills but, if you need more power, you should be using a corded drill anyway.
Everything about this drill is very good or excellent. Battery life is the best!!!

The Best of the PackThe nickel metal hydride battery packs on the Panasonic are the reason I bought this drill. It holds a charge for much longer, perhaps almost twice as long. It delivers much more power than the 18 volt Bosch or DeWalt through the cycle, and the power does not wane. When the charge finally does run down, it goes from full power to completely flat all at once. The drill is a little lighter and better balanced than the competition. The chuck makes an annoying buzz when you adjust it, but no big deal. Overall, this is clearly the best cordless drill in our remodeling business.
UnrealHad it for about 2 years. Finished a 1000 square foot basement on two charges of the battery including all metal studs and drywall screws. No kidding. This is the benchmark for cordless drill design. Bought it to replace my Ryobi. The Ryobi was good for the time but they discontinued the batteries for it and their new cordless tools suck. I read the reviews on Amazon and bought one. I don't use my corded any more. Chuck is loud and no external bit storage. Everything else is perfect. Get it.

One important defect in design and one lesser convenience item.I have been an electrical contractor for over 35 years. I have experimented with many powered screw drivers as they became available. This DeWalt 920K is quality built like their other cordless tools. What I don't like is that the bit holding mechanism most often spits out the bit when you try to push it into a ladder top tool holder hole or into your pouch with other tools. Very poor holder as compared to the Panasonic cordless impact driver that I always use just as frequently on installations. Also, the forward/reverse should be more accessible and easier to operate for one handed operation. A forward/reverse all in one rocker switch would be ideal, like the Black & Decker cheaper version with the LED light on it. The switch locking feature is nice for when tool is bunched in with other tools for transport. Of course the power of this DeWalt makes me want to use it instead of the B&D.
No Longer the Front-runnerI have had this tool for over a year. I bought it because the inline screwdriver had some advantages due to its weight, size, and flexibility over my 18-volt DeWalt RAD and 18-volt DeWalt drill/driver, both of which I had previously used exclusively for a year and a half on small and large projects alike. I would never have guessed how many times I found myself grabbing this instead of my trusted 18-volt tools. The build quality is top-notch (less a few crooked labels and loosely clamping case clasps) and the torque and lasting power of the batteries were both excellent. The quick-change keyless chuck is a pleasure to use.
It was the perfect tool for installing an over-the-range microwave. At times I needed to swivel the head to secure screws in hard-to-reach areas, and at other times I required a good amount of torque and delicate speed control. The tool provided both effortlessly.
During recent projects, however, I found myself requiring a more compact bend radius than this tool would allow. I actually had to use hand tools to finish the job! All joking aside, this added another 10 minutes to each task and several trips back and forth from my basement. I realized that I needed a more compact in-line screwdriver that could swivel 90 degrees and could operate in very tight spaces. I had to wait some time because what I wanted didn't exist. Then I came across the new Bosch PS10-2 Litheon 10.8 Volt Lithium-Ion I-Driver Kit.
The Bosch I-Driver can articulate 90 degrees, has only a 3.5 inch head length, is rated at 80 in-lbs of torque, and is powered by lithium ion batteries. The only down-sides are that it is pricey at $150 (a little better at $135 with Amazon's current 10% sale on power tools), comes with a soft case as opposed to a hard plastic case, and has not been rigorously field tested and reviewed by honest Amazon.com customers.
I do not regret purchasing the DeWalt in-line screwdriver. It was the best of its kind on the market at the time, and until recently, it had been my tool of choice for small to moderate-scale and close-quarter tasks. The DeWalt in-line screwdriver is still the best value at $100, but if you are looking for an ultra-compact in-line and right angle drill/driver that is powered with more advanced lithium ion batteries, you may want to look at the Bosch I-Driver. I'll let you know how it performs when I get one.

Best of the bestThis is a great product to have around the house. It has amazing power. It keeps my 18 Volt in its case. Great for small projects. My father-in-law loved it so much that he had to buy one.

Good Machine, Horible Customer ServiceOver the past three months, I have purchased 4 Jet woodworking machines, including this one to the tune of almost $2400. Until recently, I was planning to purchase a Jet Planer Molder and Performax Drumsander, but based on my recent experience with the WHM Tool Group, who makes this equipment, I am having second thoughts. Although I am for the most part happy with the machines I've purchased, when I was assembling my table saw, the fence that came with the saw did not match the one in the instructions, and I had to spend a considerable amount of time on hold with the WHM customer service department to find out how to mount it to the saw. I can live with that, but as I began to use the saw I discovered that although two arbor wrenches are required to change the saw blade, only one came with the saw. Although I don't think it is too much to ask that they throw in two $6 wrenches with a $1500 saw, I thought, I'd just order one from the WHM website. There I found that the Shipping for the $6 wrench would be $19.99. I sent a note to WHM regarding this requesting a reply, and did not receive one. When I called a week later, I was curtly told that the saw comes with only one wrench. When I asked why it would cost $20 to send a $6 wrench that would fit in a standard letter sized envelope, I was told that they do not ship via U.S Mail, and that was the end of the conversation. I ordered the wrench to the tune of $26.70, and was surprised again to find that it was back ordered with no expected date of delivery. I sent a copy of this rating to WHM tool group to give them a chance to respond, but again have received no response almost a week later. For what ever it's worth, if customer service is important to you and you don't want to have to purchase things that should come with the tool and then be charged three times the value of the item for shipping and handling you might want to consider another brand.
very pleasedJust recieved my Jet mortiser and am very pleased with it's performance. My work is mostly recreational, but still what I consider high quality. Plus, this tool is just right for the size shop that I have.
A message to all those tool snobs out there. It's not the tool that makes the difference. It's the person using it.
My two uncles, who were cabinet makers 50+ yrs. ago, created fine furniture and such with tools far far less sophisticated than anything we use today. "Stop your moaning".

Jet JBM5 an excellent investmentA project that calls for 120+ mortise & tenon joints convinced me to look past the drill press and chisel method for cutting mortises, and look into a mortising machine.
After visiting a couple of local machinery dealers, I settled on the Jet JBM5 and couldn't be happier.
I picked the machine up at my local Menard's ((...)), and within 15 minutes after I arrived at my workshop, had it assembled, set up, and had cut my first mortise.
Assembly was snap, and unlike the experience reported by some other reviewers, everything was in perfect condition inside the carton.
As noted by some other reviewers, the hold-down mechanism could be a little better, but the fence on my machine is square and I had no trouble setting up or aligning the chisel. I have considered adding Rockler's auxilliary table & fence ((...)), but haven't found a real need for it yet.
Like my Jet tablesaw, this machine has turned out to be an excellent investment.

needs total redesignhave a yard w/ red clay & wiregrass - followed directions - wore out original blade in 1.5 hrs of moderate edging - bought newblade & unit = smoking garbage after .75 hrs more - love old B&D electric yard vac/blower still working after 10 yrs of heavy duty use - didn't bother returning or fixing this item ... will closely supervise potential future purchases of B&D products
Great deal on a great edgerThis edger exceeded my every expectation. It is powerful, easy to use, does a nice job and, best of all, it is very reasonably priced.
Excellent EdgerI was skeptical about buying an electric edger (opposed to a gas powered model). This edger has thoroughly impressed me. It has plenty of power... is easy to use... and is well built. Having to drag a cord around is kind of a bummer.. but for the money, this edger is a definite buy! It blazed down the driveway and sidewalk the first time I used it leaving a nice, clean edged line. I'm a tough critic.. but this edger has my vote!

good saw - but also consider a wormdrive Everyone loves this saw, or so it seems from the reviews. I like this saw as well, I own it. I've had it for over a year and a half and I've cut everything from 1x4s to 6x6s, mostly for framing. I still think it lacks power compared to a worm drive, which isn't all that much more expensive. Here's what I'd like you to consider before buy a circular saw: try out a worm drive before buying anything. Brakes are a definate plus, for you don't want to slow down when you're on a roll and they make for a downright safer cut. Also consider the $60 Skil 13amp saw with a laser. Skil is a great name when it comes to circular saws, and what a great price. If you want to spend more look at the Skil worm drive saw. If you want to buy milwaukee, buy the version of this circular saw with a brake, you'll thank yourself later.
Whatcha doin over thereThis saw pretty much rocks. I bought it to cut 1 1/4" flagstone. Just threw a diamond blade on this bad boy and the saw has so much power, it slices right threw it with no problems. So...buy it..it rocks.
An awsome saw!(Michelles husband John using her account)
I bought this saw about a year ago and I absolutly love it! At the time I bought it I was doing a lot of plywood underlayment in a condo developement and the Ryobi saw I was using was on its way out. I decided that I was going to spend the money and get the best saw I could. I did a lot of research and spent a lot of time in Home Depot feeling out which saw was the most comfortable in my hand (I`m not a big guy and I have smallish hands)Especialy important to my was the space between the front grip and the gaurd tab since I do a lot of plunge cuts and didn`t feel safe having to stretch to hold the gaurd up. I also tried out other folks saws on jobsites to see how I liked the way they worked. The Milwaukee and the Rigid were the best fit. The DeWalt was too big a stretch. I just plain didn`t like the Hitachi, Porter Cable, and Bosch. Given my experience with Rigid tools it was an easy choice from there. I`m glad I made the call I did. This is a great saw. Sturdy, comfortable, easy to use, and powerfull! Everyone whose tried it agrees, even the guy I work with whose a die hard DeWalt fan! Although I`m primarily a trim carpenter, I do some decks, some renovations, some underlayment, and other odds and ends too. I love using this saw and reach for it every chance I get. I also like the tilt lock handle and use it a lot even though I didn`t figure I would when I bought the saw. All in all, I would recomend this saw to anyone.

Best I've ever seenOthers have given details. Just let me add that:
(1) It is geared to be VERY easy to turn, and . . .
(2) The lid can be replaced to reseal the can airtight. (The replaced lid will stay in place in the refrigerator, but it doesn't hold tight enough for jostling inside a picnic cooler.)

Worth every penny!Although it is very expensive, the fan is worth it. Its not very big yet very powerful and can be eaisly moved from room to room.
It is perfect for almost any room, especially a dorm room. It circulates and provides cool air for the whole room. A very great alternative for air conditioners.

QualityI love products that are genuinely high quality goods. This fan comes under that category.
If you are looking to purchase a fan, I can recommend this one.

Just what I neededFan is a tad bit bigger than I expected, but it works great! If I need another fan, for whatever reason, will be starting with Vornado's
Pros: It has power. Good suction. Mine is still charging strong after over a year. Fairly easy to clean. I'm still on my first filter.
However...there are a few cons:
Always point the rear end of the vac...towards the already vaccumed area. Otherwise, the strong "exhaust" flow will blow all your dust and debris away from you. Sort of like a mini leaf blower.
The on/off switch is hard to use if you don't have a strong thumb. Mine is slowly going out. Not the motor..but just the plastic workings of the switch itself. Once that goes...the machine will be useless to me.
