Drills Review Great bang for the buck!
Well, after reading all the reviews you convinced me to finally purchase this floor press. It came in one piece with no damage. Assembly was very simple but the instuctions need revising in order to plumb the press head and the vertical table guide. It is indeed a little flexible (per another readers comments) Whether that is intentional or not is a mystery. Run out measured at .002. The depth stop feature is fantasic and sure makes quick work of multiple drill at static depths.

To make sure the drill head is directly over the center of the base is to use a good old fashioned plumb bob. Simply tighten up the chuck and let the bob hang down. Once you've got it centered, tighten up the 2 hex set nuts on the column. Repeat the same steps for the vertical table guide. Tighten up the "one" collar hex nut once the guide is plumb. The only thing that needs modifying is the belt housing unit. It vibrates to no end. A quick fix is to use a velcro strap wrapped tightly around the housing to eliminate the excess noise. Finally, use the HTC mobile base using 4x4's and 3/4" plywood. It REALLY makes this unit stable.

Drills Review Good Drill Press
I bought this drill press a few months ago and have not had any problems with it. The assembly was easy. The operation is smooth and there is very little vibration. Changing speeds is very easy.

The price on Amazon was great and they shipped it for free.

Drills Review Why did I wait so long to buy this?
I needed a bench grinder, bought a Delta GR450. For tools and drills. Awful! Heavy vibrations, tool rests hit wheels. Brought it back a day later. (Nice Post/Western tool store nearby gave me my money back.)
I knew research would be required for a grinder so I bought, on impulse, the DD750 Drill Bit Sharpener. Wow! With my failing eyesight -- I'm 63 -- it's much easier than a bench grinder.
For 33 years I did drills by hand on the bench grinder. I do like this tool.
Missed 5-stars because of difficulty with short bits, e.g., sharpened broken bits. A simple rubber tube to extend the bit shank out of the chuck might solve the problem.
Still have to field sharpen bits with an electric drill 4" wheel from time-to-time.
One last note: I bought it retail in CA $139.99+tax=$151.89.
So much for impulse shopping. Next time I'll check the web first.

Drills Review Outstanding Product
With ease I was able to sharpen concrete drill bits and all of my standard high speed drill bits. I have used other products in the past, but this one makes keeping the drill bits sharp and in perfect order. Great product!

Drills Review Bone Dry!
Not much to say - except this is an excellent choice for extra deck storage. I've kept unopened seed packets in here with other garden tools. And seed packets really are very moisture sensitive.

It's all stayed boned dry in even the worst downpours. I'm so pleased. There's really not much else to say. Extra storage, nice and dry. Nothing bad to speak of.

This is a great vacuum for the price. Cleans thoroughly, and the dirt sensor is a plus! I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that while your using the hose/attachments the brush stays spinning. Other than that, it's the best vacuum I've ever purchased!

Drills Review qustion for filter
I have a question for the filter. I read that the chv1400 dustbuster's filter VF100 can fit in this dustbuster CHV1500. Can I assume vice versa the HEPA filter for this CHV1500 dustbuster can also fit in CHV1400? The question is because I already have a chv1400 and if this works, I can just replace the filter and it becomes HEPA vacuum. I sent the question to black & decker support but got no reply.

Drills Review Quick & Efficient
This dustbuster provides strong suction and has a very clever filter that can be easily cleaned. It doesn't make a mess when being emptied. Has a little trouble picking up stuff on textured surfaces, other than that I would highly recommend it!

Drills Review Terrific product for the dollar
This cordless hand vacuum is so handy and so easy to empty. No need for replacing bags as with my regular vacuum. The cordless is a must! I wouldn't have known to get the more powerful hand vac except that my daughter had purchased this one and really liked it. In looking at what is available, there are a number of models with less volts, but I think it's well worth it to spend a little more and get the 15.6 volt Dustbuster. I paid $49.00 with free shipping after looking around at various sites. My daughter indicated she remembered getting hers for $39.00, but I'm sure she probably paid for shipping. I didn't see any new ones lower than the $49.00. In any case, I'd highly recommend this product!

Drills Review A useful item
This is a rugged, sturdy table for benchtop type of planer. You wouldn't wnat to run 12" 8/4 board through it without using a roller stand on both sides lest you risk tipping the planer stand over. But otherwise, it's a very useful item.

If you asemble one, follow the descriptive text for assembly, noting the letters used to denote each part (washer "P" or "O", etc. IF you do that, asembly shouldn't be difficult.

I found the that the bolts for attaching the planer to the stand were bagged separately from the other nuts and bolts so there was little chance of using the wrong bolts.

I used a 1/2" wrench and a 1/2" socket without any problems. You do need a socket for tightening some of the nuts.

Assemble in a clean area; if you drop a nut or washer, you want ot be able to find it as there are just enough of each parts, including nuts, bolts and washers to put the stand together. Don't count on there being spares if you drop one into the pile of waste cuts you haven't gotten around to picking up.

I find that the top panel is more than sufficient for it's purpose. Some have said that it could be thicker, but the weight of the planer rests near the perimeter so you shouldn't expect to notice any flexing in use. Also, near the perimeter, the panel rests on front, back, and side bars, which at the top extend several inches toward the interior.

A plus, the panel is predrilled and marked for the DeWalt planers, although you can countersink and drill holes to hold other benchtop planers.

The stand is rigid and uses lockwashers on all of the nuts where lockwashers would matter. I expect to get a long useful life from this stand, and I know my back is going to appreciate it. ;-)

Drills Review FANTASTIC TABLE
MY HUSBAND IS VERY, VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT. VERY STABLE, EASY TO ASSEMBLE, EASY TO MOVE AROUND. IT'S A GREAT PRODUCT WHICH WE WOULD RECOMMEND HIGHLY TO ANYONE WITH A DEWALT PLANER.

Drills Review Sturdy Stand
Very sturdy stand that moves almost effortlessly. Expensive, but you'll love it when you don't have to lug around your portable planer from the floor to a bench to use it.

Drills Review Serious saw.
First, let me say this: I'm not in construction. I don't use this saw for framing or cutting rafters, etc. I'm a furniture maker and I wanted a good agile saw for cutting rough lengths of stock and sheet goods. This saw might be a little overkill for what I need, but it does what I need VERY well. There's something about a wormdrive saw...it can't be explained, you have to try it.

What I like:
*This saw, surprisingly, cuts like butter through *everything*. My true test was 8/4 White Oak and I braced myself for kickback or bog-down...and almost lost control of the saw when it zipped though it like nothing. Scared me!
*It's a nice low profile saw. Less machine means more view, better control.
*I'm getting used to, and falling in love with using a "lefty" saw. It's hard to get used to not leaning over to see your cut line, but once you try it, you won't go back. I don't like stabilizing the base with my hand so close to the blade, but you find other ways.
*I never used the blade that came with it. I immediately replaced mine with a Freud Diablo 24 TPI Framing blade...sweeeeet! Highly recommended.

What I don't like:
*This saw is heavy. Really really really heavy. It's deceptive because it's such a small profile saw, but you'll be surprised the first time you heft it.
*Start up torque is immense. Lay the front of the saw flat on a surface, pull the trigger, and the right side of the base will jump a full inch off the table. This means you need to keep a death grip on the handle and keep it well away from your work-piece until the saw is up to speed.
*NO CASE. I know it's a contractor's saw that is expected to be in use more than traveling, but I know a lot of circular saws that come with cases... cmon Bosch...

This is a serious saw with a lot of power that will simply buzz through anything you put in front of it. It's a tad heavy so I'm not sure how guys on the job will use the "belt clip" without pulling their pants clean off. It's also a bucking bronco for the first 2 seconds after you fire it up, but after that it's smooth as silk. All-in-all it performs solidly well.

Drills Review Great for Framing
Overall, this is the best saw I have ever used. Very similar to the Skil Mag77 worm drive saws. The Bosch saw cuts great, is easy to operate and has a good design. The built in rafter hook works great as well as the saws ability to cut bevels at 50 degrees. Very versital and worth every penny.

Drills Review Great Saw - Deceptive Sales Ad
This is a great saw, lives up to the specs. I had a DeWalt worm drive saw before this. It too was a great saw but since some bonehead stole it and ALL my other tools I had to by a new one and thought I would try this Bosch.
Plenty of power and easily tracks through wood. The sky hook is a great feature also. I swear the amazon ad declared this saw to be "NEW" but it is remanufactured according to the packaging. All outward signs show no wear so who knows why it was ever returned. I figured the saw may come to me remanufactured since the company who sells it thru Amazon, CPO Remanufacturers or whatever they call themselves are probably in the business of selling remanucfactured tools. I really don't mind now that I have checked it out but "NEW" is "NEW" in my book. So make sure you get what you think you are getting. It does have a warranty too.

Drills Review Good blow for your dough
Solid construction, good power and features, and a good price - you can't really go wrong with this unit. The dual fittings and compact footprint come in handy in a small workshop. It is a little on the noisy side (though quieter than some) and has only tripped the 15 amp circuit in my garage twice in the last few months of use.

Drills Review Great Buy, but heavy to move around.
I have been a building contractor in California for over 26 years. This is the fourth compressor that I have bought. I have found it to to be a great value for the money.
Hasn't given us any of the trouble that our old " Emglo " unit did. ( blowing curcuit breakers, stalling, etc. )
My only complaint is its weight. Had I known, I would have purchased the next model up which comes with wheels. Weight is always a concern when moving from job to job.

Drills Review Great buy
Size of the tank is fine, but its really about the horsepower of the motor and amount of air motor can put out so that you don't have long period of motor running in order to build a pressure in the tank. This 3hp engine is much better than large size tank with 2hp engine.

Drills Review A solid choice
Power is good (takes a few seconds to come totally up to speed) and included blade is better than expected - I got additional blade at initial purchase becuase I assumed like most saws the included blade would be crap but standard blade is good general purpose. Dust collection sucks, though some reviewers have not been as "candid." Does not fit any standard dust collection connection I know of (i.e. have), and the provided "bag" holds enough dust to be worth a Tinker's "Damn." For an extra $50 next time I would go for 12" for the extra height on miter cuts concurring with other review that says guard (and dust bag) get in the way sometimes.

Though table seemeed expensive I bought it anyway (needed portable platform for job-site) and it was definitely worth it. Extendable supports are convenient (wouldn't say "invaluable" because I avoid hyperbole ;-) for long pieces of molding, flooring & 2x's for framing. If you clamp the saw past the stops and extend one end support to limit you can handle 12' cuts. Haven't seen a need for sliding as I always need a table saw for long rips, so having short slide doesn't eliminate an extra tool. Laser might be nice, but I guess I trust my eye and a solid pencil line enough...

Drills Review Great Saw
This saw replaced a Ryobi 10" miter saw that was highly recommeneded to me at Home Depot and which lasted a little over a year before the motor gave out. The DeWalt is on an entirely different level of home power tool. The quality of construction, ease of use (especially setting the miter table), excellent included blade, and the power and accuracy of the tool makes me wish I'd spent the extra money for this saw when I listened to the idiot at Home Depot. I'm using it for everything from light trim to 4X4s and rafters and have no complaints. I wonder about the stock people are cutting when they say this saw has a hard time with pressure treated lumber---must be soaking wet from the treatment process. As long as you let the motor get up to speed the DeWalt with the standard blade can handle deck building with ease. I didn't calibrate it, just set it up and started cutting. I'd give it 5 stars if the basic kit came without supports and clamps (the Ryobi did), though I highly recommend buying a miter saw stand for it anyway.

Drills Review Very nice saw
This is my second DW703 because my first one was stolen. I liked it so much that I never considered any other brand. The quality of the saw, the table, the adjustments, even the blade, are all top-notch. Good value for the price. Lately I've seen it for $189 at Home Depot and Lowe's. The dust collection could be better, but I just stick the shop vac hose in the back and it gets probably 60% of the dust.

Drills Review Flimsy blade
I have just finished pruning 110 rose bushes with these pruners. About 30% of my cuts were bungled because the blade quickly dulled and it easily flexes to prevent a clean bypass cut. Otherwise the pruners facilitate cutting large branches and the spring works well.
