Miter Saw Blades Review Smooth as glass, a great blade
I had a good Delta blade on my Delta miter saw for almost 8 years. So I'm used to good blades. I work with all kinds of wood. Maple, Oak, Walnut, including plywood. This blade cuts it all great. No chips, splinters, and it is extremely sharp. You can hardly feel the blade hit the wood. The end grain cut is amazingly smooth.

I went and ordered a combo blade from Freud for my tablesaw.

Miter Saw Blades Review Best money I've spent in my shop!
The title says it all, you can't beat this blade. I really don't think there is any room for improvement here. I don't know what I did without it before! If you've got a decent chopsaw and a stock blade, you are missing out. This blade supercharges your miter box with glass-smooth cuts, less tear-out, thick carbide for many resharpenings, no blade flex (that I noticed) and therefore, perfect finish grade crosscuts. Leaves the edges as sharp as can be. Be careful when you first take it out of the box, this blade is truly sharp. YOU NEED THIS BLADE! Now I'm looking for more Freud products. Way to go Freud!!

Miter Saw Blades Review Solid economy value
This is a nice saw for the money, no problems with it. I've had one project where I wish I had a 12-inch saw or sliding miter, otherwise this works for everything around the house from chopping 2x4's to fine trim work. It's light and easily moved too. The blade that comes with it is OK and works for trim work, but it would be nice if an 80-tooth blade was included!

Miter Saw Blades Review Great saw for small - medium sized projects.
I've had this saw for a couple of years. It is a great saw that has never bogged down or been at a loss for power. The horizontal handle is superb. The blade is not that bad either, however it did splinter some oak & some plywood I recently cut. The only drawback is the size. I recently had to cut some shelves that were 9" wide; too big for the saw. I wish I had the 10" sliding saw (36-240). If you plan to keep your projects small to medium sized this is an excellent saw. ! If you are doing larger projects, i.e. shelves, bookcases, etc. then invest in the Delta Sidekick 36-240 sliding miter saw. I have also added a LaserKerf to mine, which is a great addition ...Over all, this saw is phenomenal for the price and I am going to continue to buy Delta products.

Miter Saw Blades Review Delta 36-225 Compound Miter Saw
Excellent tool. Easy to assemble and the manual makes it easy to learn how to use. Comes with a very good blade and the side and back extensions are a great asset. The tool is easy to learn and use and is very well finished. Spending more money would be a waste of time.

Miter Saw Blades Review Best Blade PERIOD!
If you are looking for THE absolute best blade for your Sliding Compound Miter Saw (SCMS) look no further than the FORREST ChopMaster blades.

I use the ChopMaster on my 12", 10" and 7 1/2" SCMS and these are by far the best blades I have ever used - cuts are as smooth as butter!

Miter Saw Blades Review Forrest 12" Chopmaster
I had an older Dewalt finishing blade on my Dewalt Miter Saw and decided to upgrade. I got the Forrest 12" Chopmaster on sale at Amazon and it was a great purchase. I used to get a lot of tear out with the Dewalt and now the Chopmaster cuts like butter. I own the WWII and the Dado King from Forrest. You pay a little more for Forrest, but if you need quality cuts, Forrest is the way to go!!!

Miter Saw Blades Review Excellent Product
In keeping this breif. I have an old model DeWalt that I have been struggling with hardwood rips on. Since I got this Freud blade the problems are gone, cuts are smoothe as can be. I will buy this product again.

Miter Saw Blades Review Does the Job Well
Have I compared this saw blade to every one on the market? No. But I am very satisfied with the purchase. I have a underpowered Bosch 4000 portable table saw. With the combination blade that came with the saw I could barely rip 3/4" cherry. It would leave horrible burn marks and take a lot of pressure to get it through. Not safe. After receiving this blade, I've ripped Cherry, Walnut, and Ash, up to 1". All cuts have been burn free, and its been much easier to get through. I'm also surprised by how much quieter it is. My wife even noticed and asked me why my saw was so much quieter when I came upstairs after testing it out. And remember... this is a RIP saw. It does not like to be used for crosscutting. I tried a crosscut just for experimentation... it was tough to get through and left burn marks. So don't try to use this as a combination blade. I paid $40 for it and was happy... I see now that it's $25. I was happy spending $40, so if you can pick it up for $25 I think you're getting a great bargain for it. Of course, when I originally put it in my shopping cart, the price was $25, but by the time I purchased it Amazon bumped the price to $40. I couldn't wait for it to go back down, so had to eat the extra $15. I love Amazon, but I'm getting tired of big price jumps after I put things in the cart and a day or two passes.

Miter Saw Blades Review great blade!!
This IS THE BLADE that you want if you are using a weak motor saw like the Ryobi BT 3000. Rips very nicely without bogging down the weak motor. I rip alot of 1 " stock and plywood and it slices through it with little effort and great feed rate. I think that it's a great blade for as little as you pay for it. I know that I'll buy this blade again whanever this one wears out.

Miter Saw Blades Review Trust me, it is well worth it!
I have owned this saw for over 3 years now. It is a shame that I had paid the full introductory price when it had come out, but I wouldn't trade this saw for anything. I also own the complete 24V cordless line by Bosch. I own a small contractor buisness doing everything from kitchens, baths, additions, full house construction, to concrete work and everything in between. Not only is this saw worth it's weight in gold, but the entire 24V Bosch is worth the same. I can not write a good enough review for this item. It is so handy to set up and cut a few pieces of trim with such accuracy as my 12" Bosch Sliding Compound miter saw. In fact, I have found myself using this saw for just about every job, since I already have the case with my other cordless tools. I have trimmed out $750k houses with this saw, just set it up in every room that needs trimwork, hook it up to my shop vac and away I go with accurate miters. The only thing that I had wished this saw had was the dual compound feature, but I am used to turning crown over and cutting it the other way. The saw holds an accurate fence and the positive miter detents are right on! Again, it takes only 5 min. to pull the saw out, set it down, and begin cutting with no cords to drag around. It is the nearest replacement to a quality cordes miter saw you can ever have. I am truely convinced to forever puchase the old blue and red over the yellow and black any day. Bravo Bosch!

Miter Saw Blades Review best buy yet
well ive had this saw for a month now. i couldnt be happier i install kitchens and bath cabinets everyday and use it everyday, the battery lasted longer than i thought it would before i had to recharge it. its so light my helper dosent complain anymore about dragging the saw around. between this and the bosch cordless jigsaw and the nail gun i hardly have to plug in anything anymore i read some of the reviews before i bought this last saw most were favorable some wernt but for what i do its great i guess if i did trim all day i would want 2 batteries but thats the only down side

Miter Saw Blades Review Great saw for the intended design
First let me say I am not a contractor I am a weekend warrior but I do like doing my own project work.
I bought this saw about 2 months ago because I had a project to build a double set of outside stairs. The nearest power was 1/4 mile away and I don't own a generator.
This saw is very good. I was suprised by it power. The stairs I built were completely made from green treated lumber. I was able to cut 2x12 stair treads with no problem. Yes I had to flip the wood over and yes the wood was still wet. I was amazed. I also bought the 24 volt circular saw. It too exceeded my expectation. I also own the Corded Dewalt 12 inch compound miter. This saw can't do everything the Dewalt can do but you can't expect it to. For what it is worth I have not found a job it can't do yet.
I would highly recommend this saw to any one.

Miter Saw Blades Review Outstanding Performance
Without a doubt, the very best blade I've used on my Makita Slide/Compound Miter Saw. I am a Contractor/Trim Carpenter and have used many different blades over the years. You simply can't go wrong with this product. Not the least expensive blade by any means, but unquestionably the best.

Miter Saw Blades Review CM10806105
This blade is worth it's high cost! The cuts are smooth as glass and there is very little or no splintering on the back side. I would recomend this to anyone that is tired of poor quality cuts produced by other blades.

Miter Saw Blades Review Vibrationless super-clean cuts!
This is a dream saw blade for precise miter cuts. You won't believe how clean and smooth your finished cuts are. No sanding required! I can't say enough about this tool other than I wish it wasn't so darned expensive. But, believe me, you get what you pay for.

Miter Saw Blades Review A good product for the price.
If you are still using the blade that came with your contractor style table saw, then this is a quality, affordable upgrade. It cuts well, has very little run out, and leaves a nice edge. The carbide on the tips is good and thick and will stand several re-sharpenings.

The only drawbacks? There is some vibration and rip cuts are not mirror smooth. If you work on small projects and every cut must be perfect then spend the extra bucks and get a Woodworker II by Forrest.

Miter Saw Blades Review hmmm...beefy!
bought this blade for framing construction. i use it in a makita 10" csm. it didnt take long to see it was a winner. the blade has nice beefy carbide on it which means more sharpenings and longer life. something i noticed immediately was the snug fit on the arbor. most blades i have used apparently had a little slop to them. i like this blade alot and cant wait to try the 30 tooth glue rip blade.

Miter Saw Blades Review A great smooth cutting blade for the money
This blade was a replacement for my factory blade that came with my Ridgid table saw. Alot of carbide for additional sharpenings. Cuts like butter;thru oak, cherry, etc. It cuts through veneer, and 12/4 red oak stock with zero tear out. Leaves a virtually glass like edge for edge joint glueing. I should have bought this blade earlier!!!! I looked at Freud, and Forrest. But the cost brought me back to this blade. I'm hooked on Systimatic

Miter Saw Blades Review GREAT BLADE![.]
I own a dozen or so great blades, but one of these came with my new Unisaw, and I was amazed at how well it performed. I use a lot of MDF, which is very abrasive, and tough on carbide, and I cut about 800 feet of cabinet rails and stiles, and trim pieces before the blade showed any signs of wear. This is very good life for MDF. Rips hardwood very good, and crosscuts well also. It is a better blade than the CMT products at a much lower price. Razor sharp cuts with MDF, and runs straight and Quiet. Lasts longer than the Woodworking Wizards and Signatures from Oldham, although they are top notch as well. I save my favorites, the Forrests, for furniture. You can't go wrong with this one!! I ordered another one to use while my first one is out being sharpened.

Miter Saw Blades Review Buy it, use it. You will be happy!
Awesome combination blade. Clean crosscuts and decent rips. You can't go wrong! I have two.

Miter Saw Blades Review Excellent Blade
This is an excellent combination blade at a great price. It produces very smooth, finished cuts with no visible saw marks. I no longer need to run boards through the jointer before panel glue-ups. I have cut hundreds of feet of Oak and Cherry with it (enough to build a dresser, chest of drawers, two night stands, a bookshelf, and a wall shelf) and the blade is still sharp! Delta even threw in two coupons for free sharpenings. Bravo on this one, Delta!

Miter Saw Blades Review Hands down, the best saw period
This saw is the same base unit as the other 3hp, right tilt. The only difference is the fence system.

Everyone knows that the Unisaw is the Holy Grail of all saws, and it lives up to this reputation. Out of the box it was flawless. It required almost no further adjustment. Even with the crappy blade that comes with the saw, the cuts are near perfect. The cuts become perfect after you throw that blade away and replace it with a better one. I recommend the Forrest Woodworker II.

The 30" fence that came with this saw was in service about 10 minutes before I decided to replace it with the 52". The saw was a gift (great gift, huh) and had I ordered it myself, I would have ordered it with the bigger fence. I got on the Biesemeyer web site and bought the replacement front and rear rails to convert it to the larger fence. You only need to replace these components, as the fence is compatable with both. I bought the new components and "factory seconds", but they were in perfect condition.

I looked at the "other" saws and came within inches of buying one based on price. I even drove five hours to a competitive product's showroom to see their saw hands on. I'm glad that I didn't buy it because it doesn't compare to this unit. The Unisaw is easy to use, easy to set up and adjust, and makes woodworking a religious experience.

Would I recommend this saw? Yes! Yes! Yes! The only drawback to this saw is that most people wait too long to buy it.

Miter Saw Blades Review Excellent saw at a good price
I've wanted a Unisaw since first using one years ago in high school shop class. It was a good saw then; it's even a better one now.

The saw arrived on the date ... said it would. The delivery driver not only unloaded it from the truck, but wheeled it around to my shop behind the house and into the shop. Only gripe about Delta's packaging is that extension table wiggled loose from box and suffered minor damage. Delta should rework packaging so damage in shipment is minimized.

Assembly of saw was straightforward, following Delta's directions in the owner's manual. The fence did not arrive with the saw as ... informed me it had been damanged, and would send a new one as soon as possible. So for about a week I could only use the miter gauge and dream about ripping boards.

All told, once completely assembled, this saw lives up to my years of dreaming and anticipation of ownership. I look for several things in a table saw; accuracy of saw and fence, quiet operation, fit and finish, easy and safe to use. The Unisaw never lags in any of these requirements. The saw and fence were dead-on accurate out of the box. The start/stop button mounted to the left of the saw's center is the ideal location for the saywer. The stop button protrudes from the switch face, allowing me to turn the saw off with my knee if necessary. Handy thing when the cut sometimes goes a little awry. The start button face is recessed, so accidental starting is minimized. The blade guard isn't the greatest, but what OEM guard is? Still, it is better than the one on my last saw, and I plan to keep it in place for all through cuts until I can go aftermarket for a better guard.

The saw has plenty of power. Dadoing operations that would practically stall my old table saw barely lowers the RPM of this saw. Ripping thick stock should be no problem. The fit and finish of this saw are adequate, though the plastic motor cover kept wanting to slide down till I figured out how to secure it properly. I'd prefer it to be hinged rather than the way it attaches.
The saw starts and runs quietly. My last saw was terribly loud; even with hearing protection on it was a major distraction and made using the saw unpleasant. With the Unisaw, I can pick up a board and buzz it through without hunting around the shop for my ear muffs. It's that quiet.

...P>You can't go wrong with this saw. This particular configuration must be "optioned" up a bit at this price; i.e. you'll want the 30" extension table and a mobile base if your saw isn't destined to live in one designated spot in your shop. I got both for my small shop; makes the saw the perfect addition for it.

Miter Saw Blades Review Best saw I've ever used. This is comercial duty.
I've used Grizzly, Jet and older Delta table saws and this is hands down the best I've used yet. This is one of the strongest 3hp units available on the market. At 220v this saw puts out 12 1/2 amps. This added power lets you use wide kerf blades which allows for smooth cuts and no bogging down. This saw is smooth and quite and is very compact too. The reason for getting this saw is because I have limited space available and with a moble base, you'll hardley notice that this is even in your basement. The miter slots are precise with no binding or sloppiness. If you're looking for a new saw shop around and ask questions but I guarantee you'll be back for this. Please do yourself a favor, and save yourself money in the long run buy this one now. I've gone through two different table saws and wish I had purchased this one first.

Miter Saw Blades Review "Smooth Across the Grain"
With out a doubt the most difficult dado to cut is a cross cut of laminated material.
Most moderately price stacked dado sets cut smooth accurate dados with the grain and if you get an upper priced set you can get a smooth bottom as well. But if you turn the material 90 degrees every blade and chipper had better be `balanced' or you're going to get `chipping'.
The Forrest Dado King is a cut above the norm. It's a well `Balanced' tool that makes a clean smooth dado in either direction. With the grain it almost like using a wide blade and it's smooth across the grain as well.

Miter Saw Blades Review Forrest 8" Dado Set vs Freud 8" Super Dado Set
Forrest makes a clean sweep in the awards ceremonies. Their Woodworker II took top honors in Fine Woodworking Magazines run off of blades. Close behind was the Freud at a quarter of the cost. Excellent for both blades on smoothness of cut, but the Forrest earned an excellent on tearout, whereas the Freud earned a very good. Well I bought both, and found the Freud to cut a surface so smooth that it was glass like. If I was going to put a finish on it, I would rough it up with 200 grit to improve the adhesion, it was that smooth. Also the Freud had absolutely no tear out, not even a little bit. Perfect is the word here. So why did I buy the Forrest Woodworker II also? Because everybody was raving about it. Forrest makes great products.
On the Dado set, I noticed the reviewers stating that their was a tiny ridge at the bottom of the dado cut, created with the Forrest. The Freud has similar results. Oddly enough the Freud creates a perfect edge when making finger joints and the like, even though when you look down into the pocket, their are miniscule ridges in the cut. Comments that the end result on the Forrest have me concerned, stating that the edge is not perfect. Is this an example of more expensive must be better syndrome?
I bought the Freud Super Dado set based on my earlier experience with their standard saw blade vs the Forrest. I'm glad I did. No matter what you buy, a good old fashioned sacrificial piece of scrap sandwiched to your work piece is your best guarantee against tear out when working with expensive woods.
If you look at the Amazon sales rank, the Freud outsells the Forrest 4 to 1. Of course anything that is less money, sells more quantity, but I just can't get beyond the "perfect" performance of the Freud. How do you improve on that?
This is not a dig on Forrest. They make first class products. Just something to consider. I hope this was helpful.

Miter Saw Blades Review The best dado blade I've ever used
The only thing to say is that it does everything that Forrest said it will do. It cuts your dado with absolutely no splintering. You can't go wrong with this item.
