Power Saws Review Smooth, clean cuts
I used this blade with a DeWalt 8.5-inch sliding compound miter saw on my recent flooring project. I was putting down a laminate/composite floor. The recommendation of the flooring manufacturer was for a carbide blade with a lot of teeth (60 on a 10-inch blade). I had to cut many angles because of the shape of the room and the saw/blade worked very well. Cut surfaces were very smooth - almost like they were planed. No chipping of the laminate surface, except to a very minor degree when I had to plunge the blade because the angle put the start of the cut right at the edge of the material.

I also used a laser guide with this blade. The laser guide is reliably at the left edge of the kerf, so you can get very close to the exact cut location you want.

The cutting noise is a bit lower than carbide blades with fewer teeth.

No complaints - the blade works as advertised. I also have a 7.25" Freud carbide blade on my circular saw (a Milwaukee) and it works well. This is one reason I decided on the Freud for the DeWalt saw.

Power Saws Review Amazing Blade
I bought this saw blade for my table saw because my saw is small and somewhat underpowered but as soon as I put the blade on my saw I saw an increase in power. To test the blade I cut 3/4" red oak and 3/4" red oak plywood and all I can say is WOW! The cuts were super smooth and there was no tearout in the plywood. I used it to rip, crosscut, and cut miters and every cut is amazingly smooth. I highly recomend this blade for any smaller or underpowered table saw.

Power Saws Review Tough Guy
I do a lot of cutting doing hobbies and other household jobs and usually wear the teeth down to nubs before changing the blade. They work wonderfully on all types of woods and all thicknesses. For radial cutting they hold up well in most cuts as long as you do not try too tight a radius. The low price make these tough guys a great deal that is hard to beat. They also show Dremels committment to quality products.

Power Saws Review Awsome tool!
This thing is awsome for drywall. I am hanging sheetrock in my house right now, and this makes things a whole lot easier. I use it with the drywall bits, and it cuts out doorways, electrical boxes, lights, etc super easy and fast. Before I was wearing my arms out using a wallboard saw, and making a huge mess while doing it. With the Dremel Advantage, I can just stick it in where I need cut, and follow the contour of the doorway/box and cut out a nice smooth opening every time.
The adjustable depth lets you not cut too deep, and the variable speed keeps it from getting out of hand.
I love this tool, and very much worth the price to save a lot of labor.

Power Saws Review Makes trim work easy and accurate.
My first project was cutting molding around porch posts using plastic molding. The Shopmaster made extremely accurate 45 degree cuts in both directions (I swung the miter saw from one side to the other to make cuts). All cuts were great! Easy to use, fast to set-up, accurate miters, safe saw guards, and just a joy to use.

Power Saws Review Good as New
I just received my order of the "factory rebuilt" 18V XRP Drill/Driver / Circ Saw combo pack and am much relieved. I was very worried about what condition a "rebuilt" set of tools would look like. Upon opening the box, everything looks completely new. There was one tiny scratch on the decal of the circular saw, but appears to have been caused by the inside of the case it was shipped in. I just completed charging the batteries and function testing the tools. Everything works as advertised. Time will tell how well the XRP batteries hold up compared to my old standard Dewalt batteries on previous tools. The one difference (and I don't remember seeing it in the add) is that instead of the 3 year factory warranty and a 90 day money back guarantee on new tools, the rebuilts have a 1 year factory warranty, and no 90 day money back. I am a Dewalt fan and have a wood shop full of them, so am familiar and fully comfortable with the durablility and power of them. These are the first 18V cordless I have purchased (everything else is either 12V or corded), and it does not look like I will be disappointed.

Power Saws Review Power, durability and economy...
What a deal! I just received my Dewalt 24v recip. saw and I'm happy with my purchase. While I haven't had a lot of time to put it to work, I did get the opportunity to cut through a few 4xs and 2xs. This saw is fast and accurate. The cuts were flat and the speed/torque was, perhaps, a bit better than my low-end Dewalt corded recip saw. The heft and construction are superior to Dewalt's 18v line and just about any other cordless I've tried (Milwaukee & Ryobi).

Be advised that Dewalt has just introduced a new battery and charger for the 24v line. The new kits weigh in at [the price] and come with two batteries instead of 1. For the price, however, this 24v reconditioned is a steal. I've also been assured by Dewalt that the new batteries will work with the old tools. They stated that the old charger will work with the old batteries, but I'm not sure if there's any penalty by not having a "fan-cooled" charger with the new batteries. These batteries offer 1.7 amp hours... The new 24v batteries offer longer run-time (~2.4 amp hours) and a longer recharge-life due to the built-in fan.

Aside from the batteries, the Dewalt techs assured me that the two saws are comparable. They said the only tool that has been changed is the 24v hammer drill (the new model has three speeds instead of two). For me, the 24v reconditioned is a good deal since I can use the battery from my 24v circ saw (also a great tool). If I was only planning on buying one Dewalt tool, I'd consider the new kit with two batteries. Pros might consider the two-battery kit as well.

Power Saws Review non intimidating tool
I was amazed how easy the Dewalt scrollsaw is to use. It is very comfortable, easy to set up blades and very quiet. After using several other saws in the past, I am totally delighted with my purchase
