Power Saws Review Excellent Saw!
Excellent Saw! This saw is light, smooth, quit. The base is stout and slippery. The saw over all is very solid and precise. Great ergonomics, well balanced. Out of all the saws I have used, Makita, Dewalt, Skill, Porter Cable, this ones my favorite! I love this saw!

Power Saws Review Pro-grade kit
These are heavy duty tools that do not disappoint. The 3.0 amp-hr batteries and the 28-min charger are the icing on the cake. As with ALL Hitachi tools, these are smooth and quiet-running, with minimal vibration. The heavy-duty ratcheting steel chuck on the hammer drill, the built-in worklight on the circular saw, and the effortless blade change on the recip saw are all added bonuses as well.
The kit is pricey but all in all a lot of quality for the money.

    Power Saws Review Husqvarna 136
I recently purchased a USED Husky 136 with a 14 inch bar and chain, from a local repair shop. It is a 1999 year model. I took the top cover off, pulled the spark plug and checked the cylinder head, and top of the piston for scoring, sludge, or anything out of the ordinary..it was clean so I put it back together, and pulled the choke, and pulled the cord..it started with 2 pulls..(once it sounds like it wants to start, push the choke in and start it!) I've so far used it to cut 9 trees that needed to be cut down. It works like a champ, and this is a USED husky! 5 stars for this one..I got a great deal on a good saw, and its saved me tons of money, and work! its light enough to cut thicket, and with a 14 inch bar I can cut up to a 26 inch tree with it..no problems!

Power Saws Review Great small saw
I love my 141. It's a great little saw. I used it to clear 1/2 acre of trees, up to 60' white pine and douglas firs. It handled them without complaint. It's best strength is it's light weight. It's perfect for trimming branches and felling smaller trees. If I were going to do more heavy work with it, I would trade up, but I think she'll last me quite some time.

    Power Saws Review Great Saw
I work for a tree company, on the ground, and when it takes more
than the 14" ground saws we usually use this. Going on two years and it still fires up and works great. Good buy for the money!

Power Saws Review a pleasure to use
having started with a Husky 55 Rancher, i need a move into a larger saw for pithing large log sections. I was looking for the 372xp however it's no longer made in the USA and it's replacement (575xp) is reportedly a 'dog'. therefore, the 385xp was the next solution.

this is a sweet piece of equipment. with a 28" bar and a rip-chain, it cuts through crotches and piths-out like butter. it's a bit heavier than the 372xp, but it's got the needed power. the bar adjuster and oiler are in a good location, and has a excellent balance to it.

highly recommend this saw and hope amazon will soon re-stock it.

Power Saws Review Almost everything you could want
I've had my 10" XACTA Right Tilt saw for almost a year now. It has the 30" fence due to limited shop space, however other than the fence it is the same saw. The set-up took about two hours, the hard part being getting the table extensions and table insert flat and true. Mounting the fence rails didn't present a challange, and getting the fence itself square turned out to be easy as well. The instructions were clear and I had already downloaded a copy from the Jet web site to study in anticipation of delivery. Moving to the Jet from a Sears Craftsman is like night and day. The old saw had a hard time with 2" softwood, the Jet zips through all the hardwoods I have fed it and only once have I had anything slow it down. That was the one time I tried to rip a 4x4 a little too fast. I looked at the Unisaw prior to buying the Jet, and concluded that having to buy a dust chute as an extra didn't really make sense. I felt that the Delta also didn't attach the aux. table as well as Jet. Is it perfect? No. I have had to calk the sloping floor of the cabinet to help contain sawdust and keep it off the floor, and it was difficult to find a stud to attach the bonding wire for the dust collector. The finish on the Aux. table was rough and gave me a really bad splinter, but all that is minor. The saw and fence have held allignment as close as I am able to measure for a year now, and that includes a couple of kickbacks that would have brought out the tools on the old saw. I have replaced the spreader with the Byssemeyer in the hope that the increased convinence of the Bysse will lead me to use it more than the origional and stop those dangerous kickbacks. For the money, and a saw of this price and quality should be a lifetime investment, I feel this is the best value around.

Power Saws Review The Big Daddy!
This is the Big Daddy set. I have not seen a set larger than this contained all in one case. Lenox hole saws are very good quality. If you have them all in one case they are better yet!
I suppose if you already own several hole saws, this kit may be too expensive. If you experienced a burglary like I did, and need to replace what you have lost, then this is the answer.
All the saws and arbors are in one blow molded case. The case is a little heavy, but at least you won't be searching for loose saws. They all stack within one another and it is easy to get to the size you need quickly.

Power Saws Review Great value for the price
I've used this saw to cut 800 linear feet of 20 gauge steel studs and track in the last three weeks. I've been happy with it's performance and the durability of the included blades. The clamping system works well with track and studs, and the spark guard system keeps most of the sparks off the operator.

My only complaint has to do with the angle of the handle. In the raised position you'd have to be 7 1/2 feet tall to place your hand as intended in the handle. At 6'2", I have to overextend my wrist to grasp the handle in preparation for a cut.

Power Saws Review Portable cut off saw
Easy to set up and easy to use. Very competive price for this quality saw.
