This is a good assortment of blades to start with. I have only used a couple of the blades so far but it is nice to have the variety for the odd jobs when I will need them.
The blades I have used for metal and wood cutting have held up well so far.

An excellent addition for your tool box. It is always a good idea to have back-up blades when starting a project, and this packet fits the need perfectly. Very good quality blades, from a well respected name in power tools.

If you're buying your first Sawzall you need some blades. This kit has an assortment of blades for cutting most kinds of materials. If you're a professional using your Sawzall on the job you'll soon know which one you use the most and can buy lots of that kind. The others are there if you occasionally need to cut something else.

I am so thrilled with the purchase of this saw. I never would have thought that I would be ordering a saw from Amazon.com! But I have built up such a trust with them with many book purchases that I decided to take the chance!

This saw has everything I need at a price I could afford. I researched for several weeks before making this purchase. In the past with the older saws that I have it would take anywhere from 2-5 min, or longer if something went amiss to reset for each setup for fretwork, with this saw it takes a mere few seconds. This saw is heaven !!

I am in the process of getting ready to retire. My plan is not to hibernate but to stay active, and keep my mind in good shape. I hit on the idea of a scroll saw last summer and have spent the months searching for the best one for me. I decided on the Delta 40-570 because of it's size and features. I am a machinist by trade, and enjoy working with high quality tools. This saw will provide me with the opportunity to fulfill my desires during my retirement. I enjoy working with wood and plan to build things for my house and grandkids.

I just bought a second Bosh jig saw not ony because of their endurance and smooth running capacity but also they are the only saws that run these Bosh blades. In the building business for 20 years and never found a better cutting jig saw blade.

I've spent many hours doing Fret work. To my surprise, these blades leave such a smooth edge that there is little or no sanding and smoothing to do. "A GREAT PRODUCT"

I do a lot of cutting doing hobbies and other household jobs and usually wear the teeth down to nubs before changing the blade. They work wonderfully on all types of woods and all thicknesses. For radial cutting they hold up well in most cuts as long as you do not try too tight a radius. The low price make these tough guys a great deal that is hard to beat. They also show Dremels committment to quality products.

I was amazed how easy the Dewalt scrollsaw is to use. It is very comfortable, easy to set up blades and very quiet. After using several other saws in the past, I am totally delighted with my purchase

Found this awesome, strong table at the Sacramento Woodworking Show. What a buy! It more than lives up to its claims. Great utility, very beefy, nice finish. Adjustable feet makes it very stable. I use it for my chop saws, surface planer, bench grinder and an extra saw horse. So many multiple uses. I just ordered another one for my shop. AND THE PRICE!!?....EXCELLENT VALUE! Easy to assemble in 20 minutes or less. Enjoy yours!

Several weeks ago I purchased thru Amazon a brand new 40-570 Scroll Saw. It arrived in A-1 Condition and I have been totally thrilled with the purchase. I trust Amazon completely. And this saw is perfect for me....it was low-end price-wise, yet has all the features that are important to me....the ability to stop and reset for fretwork takes literally seconds instead of minutes. I would redo this purchase again in a hearbeat. In fact, I'm now looking for a bench-top table saw..... Thanks Amazon, for this rural user you are a Godsend!!!!

We've been using these saws in our middle school wood shop for the last five years. In that amount of time, I've lost track of how many times I've had these in for repairs. It's more of a hobby saw that can not stand up to serious use. In addition, one saw that we purchased, stopped working a week after we took it out of the box.

This scroll saw is a Bentley. By comparison, the other scroll saws on the market are Yugos, unless you want to fork over an outrageous sum of cash.

After looking at reviews of many scrollsaws and trying to stay uner $500, I bought the Dewalt DW788. I use it for Intarsia so it has to be able to do some fine cutting. I've already finished two projects with it and I am completely satisfied with it. There is virtually no vibration and changing the blades is a snap since no tools are required. It's well built and the only assembly was connecting the base plate which only required two screws.

It had it for 5 weeks before it just quit completely. I brought to the local Dewalt repair center per Dewalts service center recommendation. After waiting 2 weeks for it to be repaired, I called them and they said they had to send it off to the factory and it would be another week. After another week they said it would be another week so I called Dewalt to ask how long it should take and they said it was between me and the service center. I asked if they would call and find out what was going on and they said no. I asked what a resonable time frame for repair was and they said 2 to 3 weeks but it was up to the service center if they would issue a new one to me. I got the number to the factory and they said another week. I notice on the box it says made in Tawian and not Canada, so I am guessing even if I don't get it for another few weeks I mightg as well wait since they will all have problems because of low production quality in Tawian. Every tool I have ever bought from them in the last two years except my router has quit working, I think I will quit buying thier products.
My problem has been resolved by Dewalt they are sending me a new unit.

I hear that this item is awesome however I have not received it yet. I placed the order on Dec 15th and it has been delayed 6 times. Today my order form says it will ship on Feb. 28th unless they delay it again. Do yourself a favor and order this item somewhere else.

This saw is a smooth operating unit solid quiet and no vibration--only problem i had was w/ the switch it got clogged w/ saw dust--so I just took it apart and blew out the dust simple as that
buy it and no other you'll be happy
