This is a good blade.Aggressive but not overly so.It produces a fairly clean cut and depending on what your cutting almost splinter free.It could stand to be a tad thinnerthough but, for the money and the decent results it's well worth it. Now get out there and cut some wood.

I have had this blade on my Delta compound miterbox saw for many years and just love it. It has lasted well and always gives a good, clean cut. It has stayed sharp, and I have never had any trouble with it.

I own about 18 different blades for my Unisaw includeing three Forrest blades, but in an era where the mantality of "one blade for any job" rules. It is nice to find a quality dedicated rip blade. While it won't leave as smooth an edge as say the woodworker II, you can feed it allot faster. If you've never ripped with a flat grind blade, you're missing out.

Fantastic saw, hard to assemble, took about 5 hours. Precise and accurate out of the box.

I've lusted for one of these for years. I finally got it and was eager to make that first cut after spending 8 hours assembling the saw, fence, mobile base, outfeed table and Deluxe Uniguard. I thought I'd check the blade runout, first, just to make sure....It measured .115" difference across the width of my 10" "set and sand" CMT alignment blade blank as measured from the right side miter slot. That's almost an eighth of an inch! It required loosening the table from the base, plus the trunnions from the top, to realign the blade with the miter slots. Took six hours. I'd always thought that Delta alignment "out of the box" was legendary....If this is what you get from a Premium American Manufacturer, maybe I'll go Taiwanese next time. ... Also the particle board extension table was so badly warped across the narrow dimension that I had to put (4) 1-1/2" angle iron supports under it to get it reasonably flat. Otherwise the fence would not make the transition from table to extension surface.
I still like this saw, and all of the maladies were repairable, however, I get the distinct impression that quality control has taken a back seat to production numbers. The saw still represents a great value, and with careful setup, works magnificently, however, setup took me an entire weekend overall.
The saw assembly is huge, the mobile base is an absolute necessity in my two-car woodshop...The stock guard/splitter assembly (Isn't good), the Deluxe Uniguard is the only way to go, or the pricier Biesemeyer. Everything fitted together very well.

The Mobil Base works very well, however you need help in moving your saw if you purchased the Delta 36-960L. Someone has to support the out feed table. The dust chute works well. The dado set is ok, but you will need a set of shims to go with it.The only real problem is that if you purchased a left tilt delta saw (Delta 36-960L) the dado insert that comes with this kit is not the correct one. The Good news is one phone call and they will send you the right one. This is apearently a mistake in Deltas advertising dept. But as I said they corrrected it for me in about 5 days.

The table does the trick for better control on longer parts, setup is critical

The drilling instructions are not correct for the holes 1-3/4" from the Bevel edge. Lay out your parts first and you will see.

The assembly instruction leave much to be desired.

Table Saw arrived in good condition on a pallet. If you look at the box around the saw, check the indicator to see that it has NOT been tipped over. Also, when saw arrived I only received the saw itself and had to wait for the two ther packages. Saw setup was HORRIBLE. I can't stress that eneough. I was missing pieces and some of the pieces I received were of the wrong size. If you buy this saw and attach the cast iron wings do NOT use the lock washers provided as they were too small and resulted in the wings not lining up. I reccomend buying other larger washers and you will save yourself much grief. Also, I reccomend checking that all the necessary bolts, nuts, etc. are all accounted for as then you will only have to make one trip to the hardware store to pick up more instead of two or three. Otherwise after assembly, this saw works like a dream. I was also surprised to find out that this saw comes with a factory installed brake which was really a nice feature. Also, if your buying the mobile base with this saw DON'T do it! The mobile base they reccomend (Delta 50-289 Mobile Machine Base for Unisaw with 52" Unifence) does not fit and I had to jerry rig mine securely with L-brackets. This saw is great though. The unifence that came with it was dead on and required no adjustment. The only thing I had to tweak was the positive stop on the 0 degree mark, but the 45 degree tilt was dead on. Do yourself a favor and purchase this saw as it is a great price for all the features that are packed in it. Also, I would highly reccomend the Forrest Woodworker II Blade as it rips through hardwoods no problem and leaves no chip out on the various plywoods I have used. Let it be noted too that Amazon price matches, so shop around online and they will match the price you find. Great saw at a great price, just a pain in the butt to setup.

When I ordered these saw blades it was because my compound miter saw needed a new blade and money was tight. The combo pack of 10" blades from Dewalt was considerably less expensive than most of the other blades that I know to be good ,so I was not expecting to have the best quality cuts. Boy I couldn't have been more wrong... These blades are great and believe me you will not be disappointed at all. They cut smooth without any strain on the motor of the saw and with virtually no tear out. What a Value!!!!

This stabilizer does a wonderful job of producing glass smooth cuts on my 12" Dewalt sliding miter saw(DW 708 for you parts # guys) with the only problem of having to center the washer on the shaft before tightening up the retaining bolt. There is not enough of the one inch adapter on the saw sticking out to properly center either the stabilizer or the washer. The way I had to do it was to leave some of the blade washer sticking out from the blade to catch the stabilizer and the center the washer by eye. Dewalt really should sell an adapter set up for this saw and the DW705 to make it easier to use. Also, you lose cutting capacity with the stabilizer, down to about 3" thick at unbeveled crosscut( to be expected, but I figured I'd mention it). Otherwise, the cut quality is amazing, especially when you rember that it is on a 12" blade, and it does beat the 10" Hitachi or Makita for smoothness.
