We love this vise...have 3: his, mine, and ours! Great for the lab, workbench, and 'fixing' smallish things. Super for the 'creative' scientist and/or artist who needs the freedom to SECURELY move 'work' around which the screw-down type vises simply don't allow. Buy it, and before you know it, you will have 3 also!

This extended shaft grinder is great. It has the skinniest shaft of any extended shaft, 1/4" grinder I've seen. I have been using it io port cylinder heads and intake manifolds and the reach with this is awsome. The air consumption is nice and low too. I do most of my porting at home in my garage and I have a smallish air compressor so the low consumption is a real plus. Its light weight and very easy to manipulate an the speed control is also easy to use. With a price of under $50 bucks, you can't go wrong with this. I'd definately recommend this to anyone looking for a good die grinder.

This is a great accessory for plunge routers. It works perfectly in conjuction with a Woodrat machine, but it is also great for router tables and stand alone plunge routing. I was able to very quickly and easily install it onto my Dewalt 625 and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Put a touch of synthetic grease on the two points where the lower bar and upper bar touch and the action will be friction free and easy to control. A superb item and another wonderful innovation from a great company.

These fuel cells are great! They are a great value for the benefit they afford: namely portable power nailing without a compressor. The only drawback I have found to these fuel cells is that you must remove them if you will not be using your Bammer for an extended period of days/weeks. If you do not, all of the fuel will slowly seep out and your fuel cell will be empty when you next need it!

And speaking of the nail gun itself, I have owned a Porter-Cable "Bammer" for about five years now and I remain well pleased with its performance. I am a do-it-yourselfer primarily using the nailer for basic home remodeling and woodworking in my garage shop. I have used mine to hang all types of moldings and casings throughout my house and friends' houses, as well as to attach moldings to furniture projects in the shop. The worst "problem" I have ever had with this nail gun is a feed/jam, which was easily cleared (it has only happened once or twice).

Bottom Line: If you read and follow the instructions, and take your time with this tool, I see no reason why you cannot have as much success with it as I have.

Large drywall project, 5 people, inexperienced to professional. I made a joke upon arriving about finally having a good tool to use (they already had a DeWalt gun). As we worked, I found that everyone preferred the P-C gun by a wide margin, including me. It is not like the DeWalt doesn't work and the P-C does. The P-C seemed to be lighter, had better trigger control, felt better in your hand, and seemed to work better overall (fresh bits maintained in both guns so that was not a factor). No one could say that one thing was vastly superior, but everyone preferred the P-C gun. The professional had a P-C gun the next day replacing his DeWalt - the DeWalt was never picked up the 2nd day. If you decide to get the gun, you can beat Amason's price by a bunch (well over $20).

Magnificent sander: feels great, performs great, looks great. Nice balance and weighting, aluminum housing is gorgeous. Only anxiety with it is that it might get stolen as it is widely coveted by others, or that the cord will eventually give out. This tool, a simple a half sheet sander, feels like the splendidly well-built power tools manufactured generations ago--it feels like the type of tool that should last a lifetime.

My vacuum can breathe again. YEA. This is a great product, fits perfectly and will help your suction return to orignial strength.

I bought my Porter Cable vacuum because it is a quality product that PC put some thought into as to what it would be used for. This is also true of something as simple as the bags for the vacuum. They are of a heavier paper then I have seen on other products which should allow them to hold up to the nasty stuff. The other feature which is very simple but VERY useful is the fact that you can seal the bag as soon as you remove it from the vacuum. Typical Porter Cable product, excellent.
