This is the second electric power washer I've owned. The first one made by Karcher is still running strong after 10 years but the switch broke and I have to keep a brick on it to keep it running. I decided it was time for a new washer and did my research. The Powerwasher brand is made by FAIP, the same people that supply the pumps for many manufacturers so I decided to go ahead and purchase the 1600 model from Amazon. The product arrived in a timely fashion and worked very well on my top priority projects, washing a boat, patio furniture, deck, siding etc. I really like the fact the motor and pump only run when you pull the trigger on the spray wand. The quick connect feature for the hose is well made and easy to use. As with most products these days the manual is sparse and barely adedquate. I gave this thing 4 stars because I'm not sure how reliable it will be over time but in 10 years if it is still working like my last washer I'll upgrade to a 5 star rating. My only regret is that 2 weeks after I bought this thing I saw it siginificantly cheaper at a major brick and mortar retailer. Well heck, I have usually gotten the best deal at Amazon! I'll have to be more careful from now on.

we recieved this power washer and I went right to work. I cleaned up all the yard furniture, the deck, and 2 sections of fence in no time. I couldn't believe the power. My only advice would be to make sure you wear ear plugs while using it. The machine isn't loud but while cleaning it is. We are very pleased with this purchase.

the first time we used it it worked great. the second time it started shuting off and starting again until eventually it quit all together and we couldn't get it to work. I had to send it back. we bought a craftsman at sears for not a lot more but it was a 2150 psi. the difference in quality was very noticable.

Just received pressure washer and hook it up and what power this unit has.Took oil and dirt off driveway no problem.This is the best little pressure washer I have used yet!It clean the 2 cars with eased.

i picked this up to go with the pws1300 i got for my mom on mothers day, i figured for $15 she gets to open another gift, it made sense. The stars must have been aligned, cause not only did she love the machine, she will not stop raving about the brush too! apparently it is the "best" for cleaning her patio furniture. easy as 1-2-3, 'it's a beautiful ting!'

Well, I figured it was about time I got a pressure washer for my new Ford pickup truck. I got my own flower hothouse business and I needed something to clean out the dirt off the truck bed. I had an old Dodge pickup that my Daddy had given to me and it was so dirty, I never bothered to clean it off. It finally died on me, ( go figure...a dodge that doesn't run !!! ) Now, I'm no runway model, but I ain't no slouch either. Ever since my husband died and the kids left and started their own families, I've been doing things on my own. But because of arthritis in my shoulders I can't lift real heavy things. So I get my widower neighbor to help me with the heavy things. Nice guy, but he keeps making so many passes at me that it really gets on my nerves sometimes. (notice I said sometimes) He's the kind of a dumb oaf who drags his knuckles and has about two teeth left. I wanted to have a smaller machine so I could lift it up and carry it out to the truck, hook up a garden hose and wash down my new truck. I want to keep it looking new, especially when I visit customers. I even used it on the side of the hothouse. Cleaned off years of old dirt. Amazing ! We women need something not as heavy as the men like. This was perfect and it had easy directions in the manual for setup. I did have a question about mixing some soap in the bottle so I called the toll free number, and got real good help. I am sold on this machine.

This is the first electric pressure washer I've used that isn't a toy. It works and is built to last. O-rings on all joints, screw on metal to metal connectors, and high enough pressure to really clean. In addition, parts for everything are readily identified in the manual and available on line. Also accessories such as turbo nozzles, carts, etc. Just make sure you use a 20 amp circuit as instructed. This thing has power.

This solidly constructed electric pressure washer works like a charm. Unlike gas powered washers, this one is QUIET! - a real bonus, since we live in a patio home. My washer came with a 20' power cord! The instructions were a little skimpy, but a little common sense helped me figure everything out. This puppy is heavy, so consider purchasing the cart, pn AR-CART. Since I'm used to gas
washers, this one is a little tamer at 1500psi, but that means it'll just take a little longer to do the job. AND I don't have to fuss with gasoline, fumes, noise, engine maintanence, etc. etc...

The product arrived with all items as described, and within 15 minutes I had it plumbed and wired. The pressure washer works great, and has the ability to both deliver high pressure water, and low pressure soapy water. It is compact and transportable. The stock hose is not really long enough to get around the entire vehicle. so I would recommend an extension hose or retractable hose, which I have ordered. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a pressure washer that is stronger than the typical product you would find in the local department store and is great for cleaning cars, siding decking, etc, but if you are looking for a unit for stripping decks or removing paint, you should consider the gas powered product line.

So far this has been a very portable and light unit. It does not clean as well as the Delta 1800psi washer I had, but I am happy with the job it does. I have used it to clean driveways, side walks, cars and RV's and very muddy dirt bikes. It works well on the cars and motorcycles but it is a little underpowered for the larger jobs. My only complaint is the hose does not have a swivel connector at the spray gun handle, and the hose is too short. I do like how easy it is to change pressure washer attachments.

If this unit had a good spray gun with a swivel connector, and the capability of expanding the hose, I would give it five stars,
as long as it does not quit working.

I recently purchased this item and it is GREAT! I washed 2 cars and cleaned a deck in a matter of a hour. It does a great job and would highly recommend it. Also the price is reasonable. I wanted the gas pressure washer but changed my mind and got this electric one because gas prices are so high I thought the electric model would benefit my money.

My grandkids gave me this machine for my birthday two weeks ago. I had never bothered with these things before. Seemed silly when a garden hose and a little elbow grease could do the job just as well. I thought it was for lazy people. Boy, was I wrong! I live in a hot steamy climate and the mold around the house can be a real problem. This machine cleaned the mold off in no time flat. I was impressed! Then I tackled our boat in the dry dock at the marina for repairs. I had years of brown colored mold and rust and other junk all over the bottom and sides. I usually treat it with bleach and scrub by hand-terrible job. The pressure washer took it all off and quickly. Even the areas I had to pre-treat took very little time to remove years of stains. It did a great job on the deck of the boat too. I have not gone after my driveway but that is next on my list. Shucks, maybe I'll do my neighbor's diveway while I am at it. Great product.

First off, I received an open-box item instead of a new one. There was a soapy residue all over the washer. When I hooked up this flimsy machine, the connection to the water gun was not working correctly. The instructions that come with it are lousy to say the least. The bonus car kit looks like something from a dollar store. I tried everything and the brass (or brass imitation) fitting was just no good. I cannot recommend this item at all. The nightmare returning it with UPS was even worse. It seems like a deal, but you're getting less than what you pay for on this one.

This is a great pressure washer for around the home or lighter duty. This is a great price, its easy to use and gets the job done. Consumers Report also had very good things to say about it.

I had an old pressure washer that died and needed a new one. Ever since my backhoe/trampolene/goat accident I can't lift much with my left arm - so this one was just right for my needs. It has a lot of neat attachments and is light weight - so my lazy wife can use it too. I put her to work on the roof and she almost blew herself off; coool!

Caution: Don't use it indoors pointed at someone - bad times, bad times !!!

I bought this for my husband last Valentine's Day from Amazon.com. They sent me the wrong model 3 different times and when I finally found a phone number to call them they told me that the information and picture on the website was incorrect and that they were actually selling the K205M Model (Not Plus) which sits on the ground, Has no wheels or handle and it has only 2 attachments. I sent them ALL back and refuse to buy TOOLS from Amazon since. Needless to say I ended up buying the real K205M Plus from ... [another store] and I ended up paying less anyway!

As a female DIY enthusiast, I'm always looking for tools that are powerful, but not out of my weight class. I found the Karcher 205 pressure washer to be a powerful and easy to use cleaning tool. The manual is actually clearly written, which made the minimal assembly a quick job. I especialy like the tall wheels-and-handle arrangement, which allows for easy moving of the unit when in use--as well as convenient cord and accessory storage when not in use. Also, the spray wand rotates on the end of a good long hose, so I was able to carry the spray wand up the ladder to clean the gutters without having the drag the rest of the unit around with me. However, my favorite feature is the fact that the motor only activates when you engage the trigger on the spray wand, which lessens the noise factor. And, you don't have to worry about burning out the motor when you're not spraying, because there is a five minute "rest" period built in. Thus, you can take your time to reposition your ladder or yourself, while leaving both the motor and the water supply turned on. I have used this tool for a couple of jobs so far, and I can see where it will prove invaluable come Spring.

The only drawback, and this is very minor, is storing the unit. The manual is quite explicit that even after the unit is emptied of all water, the unit should not be stored in areas where temperatures drop below freezing, which elminates my garage and attic. However, since I am a real tool lover, I don't mind storing my Karcher 205 in the corner of the spare bedroom where I can admire it at my leisure!

I live in a townhouse. Rather then pay the homeowner association to do a poor job for $..., I bought this product. Works great. Mildew from the front courtyard was instantly removed. Did a wonderful job. No problems.

Very good value, easy to set up and works well on small projects, or larger if you have the time because at 1300 psi its not very fast on large areas that need deep cleaning. If it fits your needs you can't beat the price.

It's easy to set up and works better than I thought it might since it is relatively small and portable.

I have been trying different Karcher pressure washers for cleaning the white aluminum siding on my house and have decided I need a gas powered unit to get enough power to get the job done. The 3.97 M, however, is the most powerful of the electric washers I have tried and it can be used for cleaning just about anything less demanding than siding. Mine came with a 25 ft. high pressure hose and a 35 ft. electric cord, so I have a great deal of range outside. Two wands were included, a Vario and Dirtblaster which both have great uumph. At just under 30 lbs. it is very compact and easy to store inside. It also has a nice handle, wheels, and storage for hose, gun, and wands.

If Karcher has changed the hoses I apologize upfront, nonetheless, I paid good money for my 1600 Karcher from a big box store two and a half years ago. Right after the year warranty expired water sprung in 3 places from the (now brittle) hose line. Before you ask, I keep my pressure washer in our garage and the weather doesn't get extremely cold or hot. I noticed you would have to fight with the cord to get it to unkink itself or to wrap it after using. After I replaced the first cord (best price $30) I was EXTRA careful with it. One strategy that worked to unkink the cord was to hang it off our top deck (gently) to have the weight of the gun straighten out and make the hose cord more supple. But alas, again 1 year later, I sprung leaks in the hose once again. So, I just bought a Husky from the rival big box guys. I dare not buy a pressure washer I can't return locally. If anyone has suggestions about what can prevent this from happening I am open to them!

I have rented pressure washers that were in the 2500 psi. range. They were very powerful and even at times hard to control. This one though you have to be pretty close for really dirty cement but it does do the job the first time. I'm very pleased with the fact that this model is powerful, quiet and doesn't need gas! For the lady of this house this is GREAT! You can do it all and by yourself. For men, I would guess you probably want more power just because, but know this, this one will do the job. For the price and the fact that it doesn't need that ever expensive gasoline it's tops in my book. I'm really glad I bought it. Things I've cleaned in the past 3 days, gutters, pool cage, patio/lanai deck, lawn furniture and stucco exterior... the truck is next.
