Product description issuesThe hose probably does not take the pressure described (which is extremely high) but probably 2500. Also the picture shows 1 male and 1 female end whereas the product may come with 2 female ends and one adaptor. See customer review written on the 25 foot hose/extension. As pictured, the hose is only an extension, not a replacement hose as a replacement hose needs two male ends.
Pressure Washer HoseThe 50 ft hose was exactly what I wanted. I can attach it to the original hose for rooftop work. Karcher even gives you the fitting to do this. Great!

You get what you pay for...First I should point out I don't like these gas driven pressure washers. But with 110V electrical outlets you just cannot get the pressure you want. If I had 220V a electrical one would be sufficient for me. Anyway...
This pressure washer is not bad at all, but I find it way too noisy and if you leave it on flat surface while running it constantly moves. The vibrations makes it rotates and with those rubber soles underneath, you end up with some ugly marks on the concrete. Something you easily can wash away, but really annoying. I had to put the pressure washer in the grass or in the flowerbeds to make it stand put. Maybe Karcher should have added 20-30 lbs to the base?
The pneumatic tires are real nice, but not very strong. UPS ground doesn't treat their packages very nice and the tires are bent when you get you package. I had 3 machines arriving with bent tires(original + 2 replacements). If you buy this pressure washer online make sure you buy a rubber mallet. Trust me you need it. Knowing what I do today, I would have spent those $40 extra at OSH instead. Saves you a lot of trouble...

bad customer service for junkI purchased my 330M a couple of years ago and, true, it did work well for a time. However, now I have an expensive piece of junk (attachements extra). The problems I've encountered began as low pressure and progressed to no power.
I would gladly pay to get this unit repaired, but, according to the fabulous customer service staff at Karcher, I need to bring it to either Des Moines or East Grand Forks--I live near Minneapolis.
I was told this by a rep after using the 800 number service center directory. Every listed service center near my home either do not repair electric Karcher units or never did (I am still trying to figure out how they pick their business partners--several had never worked on Karcher products.)
After countless phone calls, many minutes on hold and several emails (no one ever even replied) to Karcher I finally spoke with a live person who informed me to travel several hundred miles to repair a hundred dollar machine.
Forget it. I'll let my dollars vote for me. Karcher will never see another dime out of me and if asked I will tell all to avoid Karcher products. If Karcher's goal is to ignore/anger customers I must say 'nicely done'.

Buy Cheap, Buy TwiceI should have known that something made of plastic would last about as long as something made of plastic!!!. The handle on the unit I purchased blew the internal gaskets on the third squeeze. The pressure was actually not too bad before that happened. $5.00 and two weeks later I had the replacement parts from the local service center. As I expected, 3 squeezes later the gun was leaking like a stuck pig. I wrote to Karcher and they are sending me a replacement gun....FREE OF CHARGE (I'll believe it when I see it). A new heavy duty gun will run between $35 and $55. I think I'll use that $55 towards the purchase of a new commercial grade unit.....and not a Karcher. Oh...and thanks to the dude who turned me on to "Pressureparts.com." They've got what you need to fix what needs fixin'.
Poor reliability, buying a gas-powered replacementI wish that I had spent the extra $150 and bought a gas powered one instead of buying this K360. I have owned it for 3.5 years. The unit only has ~ 80 run hours. The pressure switch has been replaced twice(out of the warranty period, of course). Repair cost $50 each time and took ~ 4 weeks each. Bad sign when the lady at the repair shop said, "We see a lot of these". After the second repair, I swore that the third time, I would junk it and buy a more-powerful, gas-powered one (Coastal TX is a mildew-coated place). Once again, the pressure switch failed.
When it worked, it worked well. But the reliability has not been that great. I love the Karcher attachments, especially the rotojet - cleans dirt and mildew off of paint without removing the paint. 1600 psi & 1.7 gpm is barely enough for down here. I have been doing a lot of comparison shopping, and the attachments from other manufacturers do not have the features that Karcher offers. Since I have a full set of Karcher attachments, I may end up purchasing another Karcher pressure washer.

Dissapointing unit.I didn't have the shipping problem that other people are talking about, but after owning this unit for two years, I am dissapointed. First of all, the pump is not maintainance free. The manual wants you to pour RV anti-freeze inside the pump, using some hose that you have to make or buy, when you plan to store for 30 days or more. I tried doing this, and I don't think I was successful in getting the fluid in the pump. You have to pull the starter rope at the same time you are pouring the fluid into the hose intake. At the very least, this is very inconvienent. Also, I notice at times that the pump just dies, and then kicks back on, and repeats this cycle. I don't know what the problem is. I got the unit in good condition, changed the oil, filled with good gas, and still it does not run well. It may be that the pump is the problem, and not the engine. The bottom line is that for this money, I shouldn't have any problems within the first year or two. I would stay away, and look for a different brand.
Thanks for the Waning! You may have saved 10000's of us the same experiance.
Excellant Product-Poor ShippingProduct was excellant. It seems that this pressure washer is shipped with some oil that is left in the engine from testing the unit before packaging. This oil spilled all over the unit and also soaked the air filter. Apparantly, the box has to be handled upright. UPS shipping does not do this. Once wiped down and the air filter replaced, the product worked like a dream. Plenty of power to wash my wood fence and wood play set. Highly recommended product but not from Amazon or any online store due to shipping requirements that frankly cannot be expected from UPS. Better to buy this from a physical retail outlet.

powerwasher 816045sh universal the item was a waste of money it will not work the scrubber will not turn to scrub at all
Powerwasher #816045SHI purchased this surface scrubber kit. First of all it says universal, however none of the attachments it came with fit my Generac Pressure Washer 1900PSI. I happened to have the right one lying around because I purchased a Briggs & Stratton universal multi-purpose rotating brush kit awhile ago. The first day I used this scrubber I thought it was a great! Cleaned my driveway with ease. Next day I processed to clean my sidewalk, just before I was almost done one of the blue nozzles on the wand bar popped off. I've tried everything to put it back on, however it just keeps popping off. Second day of owning it and it breaks! The whole thing is made of flimsy plastic. I wouldn't recommend anyone waisting your time one this product. I personally think the Powerwasher? #81K075SH Universal Pressure Washer H-2-0 PowerwashBroom is a much better choice no moving parts to break, and its cheaper. The broom works great has three nozzles instead of two. Don't make the same mistake a did, buy the PowerwashBroom
nice accessoryi have used this to clean my garage floor and think it works great. it retains the chemical cleaner i use nicely instead of spraying them all over. also, it prevents splashing all over my wood, which is appreciated as i would rather not paint over water spots this fall. ***a little help for the guy below with the 1900psi machine, you might want to read the product description before you buy, this is for electric units- it is not designed to work with your machine, probably why it didn't!

Its great while it worksI had a smilar situation as another reviewer - the washwer worked great for about 15-16 mos and this summer - brought it out and nothing. The motor kicks on when I plug it in and turn it on but as soon as I turn the water on the motor shuts off and the water comes through with normal pressure. I am not mechanically inclined - so I wouldn't even know what to look for to try to fix it :-( Maybe these washers just don't last.
Works good, for a little whileI received this pressure washer as a gift July 2004 and used it for almost the whole summer. I mostly used it for washing our cars and the siding of our house. It worked relatively well and overall I was impressed with the fact that it was electric and easy to use.
The second summer I powered it on and water squirted out of the bottom of the unit. I could tell it wasn't maintaining water pressure as it wouldn't turn off the motor, which it should do if you aren't using it. I thought about first throwing it away, but then figured I could probably fix it myself. I opened the unit and found that the clip holding the detergent injector line was broken in half. I called the company and was told that opening the unit voided my warranty. I must say that I was surprised as I don't recall anything on the unit or in the manual saying that. I told her that I couldn't possibly know what part to order had I not opened it, and that the store (walmart) it was purchased from would do nothing for me. She said I'd need to order the full detergent injector kit, which would cost about $22 shipped and they do not have them in stock. So, now I'm left with a 11 month old pressure washer that doesn't work and no parts to fix it with. I'm not impressed with Campbell Hausfelds service at all. What company doesn't stock their own repair kits?
Keep in mind that the unit is pretty nice. I would have easily given it a better rating if it weren't for the poor service from the company. Upon inspection the clip is made from shoddy materials. Also, if you do need to replace it or the detergent kit you void your warranty! Off to the shop to have a friend fashion a new clip for me out of better materials. What a hassle!

Good way to clean with water and electricityPros: enough PSI for typical usage so cleans well, light-weight, long enough cord+hose
Cons: awkward hose/cord stowing, small detergent bottle(s).
I rate this without any previous experience with electric P.W.'s, only one gas-powered P.W. (Briggs&Stratton) I used a few years before getting this CH to use electricity (quieter!) instead of gas (noisy engine!).
It seems to have plenty of cleaning power. I never used a rotary nozzle before so that was something new to me, too. The variable pressure fan nozzle is so much like the gasoline P.W. that I can't tell any difference (if I remember right it was 2250 PSI). But I must go slow with the rotary nozzle or it skips, making swirl marks; again, whole new thing for me there.
I should point out that I got mine "used", albeit with need for a new wand o-ring, for half the going price so I think it is a fine P.W. for what it is. However, looking at the Sistema 10106 I'd be very tempted to get that if I hadn't been looking to spend very little as a trial run of this kind of P.W.
Anyway, I'm fairly convinced now that electric P.W.'s aren't lacking in ability.

So Far, So GoodJust received the Karcher K 2.97M and am very satisfied. Assembly was fairly easy, though instructions were muddy. Operating instructions were even muddier. Important notes which I missed: after plugging power cord in, you have to do a little magic ritual, pressing the Test and Reset buttons in a certain order; then the motor still doesn't start until the trigger on wand is depressed. Once I got these points, I was off! Wow, can this little thing clean! The brick sidewalk has gone from dark brown to red. For stubborn things like algae, I've learned to hold the spray very close, and presto! Algae's gone. I wanted something simple, without the maintenance, fumes or frustration of a gasoline washer. Electrics are not as powerful, so the cleaning is slow going, but for me this is preferable to a gas model. I find the machine quite sturdy; I've knocked it over several times without ill effect.
Washer does what's It's supposed to.The washer cleaned my cement driveway with the turby nozzle. Without the turbo nozzle it would not have. The washer performed as expected. I havn't tried it on a wood deck yet but expect the regular nozzle to work well under those conditions.
Karcher Electric Pressure WasherI ordered a Karcher 297M model pressure washer some time ago online. I really like it, it cleans well, it's easy to use and we don't have a huge house so it was a good choice. I've never had any of the problems I see on here. We read on Karcher's website about using a pump guard to keep it from freezing up in the winter and to keep the seals and stuff from drying out too. You run it through the pressure washer a couple of times during the year, and esp before storing it for winter, and you're good to go. It was the highest rated electric washer tested by Consumer Reports, so we feel like it will last if we take good care of it. So far, so good!

Help line not knowledgeable enoughNo directions with wand. Did not know that sleeve had threads. It was to tight to loosen. Called help line and they did not understand about the sleeve either. While talking to them I was able to loosen. Help line needs more understanding of all their products. Do like product though. Rating is lower because of help line.
It's okI use it to wash the house and reach the upper story. Yes it isn't industrial strength and it does takes some oomph to put it together and take it apart. But I've used it several times over the last several years and it has lasted and worked fine. It allows me to avoid using anything but a step ladder to clean the siding and windows. If you are careful and not prone to using each and every section, I typically leave it assembled when using and storing, it should be fine. I use an 8' step ladder and do the lower story without the extention and the upper story with.
Easy solution to threading problemsI bought this and have had no problems although I only use two sections. To make it easier when threading plastic parts together I always use silicon spray on both pieces and find that they go together easily. They also come apart easily as I just went in the garage and took apart this extension wand after it's been together three + years. I also spray the undercarriage of lawnmower before using (cleans in a snap), as well the blades and impeller on the snowblower (never clogs even with wet snow) and spray the spark plug wires. Acts as a sealant from moisture. Works well on rubber hoses and seals to make them last longer. Quick connects + the o-rings are a must. Lasts all summer.

This Pressure Washer is a DOG!I purchased this pressure washer and was very disappointed. I put alot of faith in the PM magazine review.
This pressure washer would have trouble blasting the icing off a cake! It's way underpowered. Given it's size and weight I can only assume that instead of a powerful pump there might just be bricks inside the case.
I bought the Karcher M397, it's smaller, less money, but it puts out more power. STAY AWAY FROM THE AR EXTREME. You will be Extremely disappointed.

Arrived bustedWas shipped quickly. Box had no damaged but when I took the unit out the hard plastic case was clearly damaged. It was cracked and pieces were laying in the box. The plastic piece used to wrap the cord around was broken off and the section where you attached the handle looked like somebody hit it with a big hammer and knocked a hole it it. Had to have been done at the factory. Terrible quality control. Amazon accepted the return.
Works great for me!Having read others reviews and with some skepticism, I ordered this washer and received it a couple of weeks ago. Maybe I was just lucky? Shipping was quick and the unit was intact. I've got about 8 hours of mostly continuous use out of it so far...it has worked exactly as I would expect it to. Stripped a cedar deck and a 10 year old, redwood, Rainbow playsystems swingset with ease! They both look like new, ready for a new coat of stain. This unit works great for cleaning vinyl siding and windows. Make sure you fan the spray though or you'll poke holes right through the siding! I have nothing but good things to say about this product.......hope I feel the same in a couple of years! I'll come back and give it 5 stars if it holds up throughout use this summer.

I was surprised...and, disappointed.I was expecting something like a unit that was DOA when someone bought it and the factory fixed it. What I got was a very used unit. Rustable parts are rusted. Plastic parts are badly scraped and scratched. The unit is filthy. The solvent tube was coated on the inside with mildew. Spiders have nested in the cavity on the bottom of the unit. It was obviously stored in a garage or a barn. I don't know if it works like it's supposed to as it is the first one I have ever used but the physical condition causes it to be suspect. When I ordered it, my impression was that there is a one year warranty on it. What the paperwork that came with it says is that the warranty is the remainder of the first year following the date of the original purchase. I'm certain that the first year was over a long time ago. To be candid, I have bought a considerable amount of product on Amazon over the years. This product is not worthy of their sponsorship. Since I made the purchsase I've seen factory service pressure washers for sale at Big Lots for about the same money and a helluva lot better condition. I'm sorry that I made the purchase!
Reconditioned-not the best way to goThis was a factory reconditioned unit, it arrived pretty dirty and scratched. The water lines, filters and fittings were the worst part, fairly corroded and full of grit (and perhaps some kind of salts?), although the factory checklist was marked that it was cleaned. After some cleaning of my own the unit works mostly as it should, the internal pressure switch that turns the pump on sometimes sticks and I have to give the machine a good whack to get it to trip on.
The performance is satisfactory, about as much as you can get from an electric model, if you want to get serious about cleaning you will have to go gas powered, I just did not want to deal with the noise.
Overall I don't expect it to last and suspect that I will be sending it back to the factory, hopefully before the warranty runs out.

Great EquipmentThis washer is great and meet all my needs. While I was shopping around, I can across this model but was relunctant to order at first. However, the price was right and upon receipt it was easy to assemble.
