This depth adjustment knob easily makes fine tuning of your plunge router possible. The knob is long enought to clear the the router with a handle that is easy to grip. The knob appears to be quite strong and durable. A nice addition to your plunge router.

Amazon's online description of this item left something to be desired, so I thought I'd add my two cents, even though there is little to actually "review" about this item.

The item is an adapter which is designed to fit the "quick change" style template holders on Bosch's newer routers, and it allows you to use standard Porter-Cable style template guides with your Bosch router.

The adapter casting is of good quality, and it does its job perfectly. Bosch's quick change mount is terrifically simple to use, but I've been unable to find much selection in Bosch style template guides. This adapter allows me to use any of the template guides I have for my trusty Porter-Cable 690 -- well worth $..., in my opinion!

If you are investing the money to get the precision of the Jessem router lift, then shell out the extra bucks to adequately support your work closer to the router bit. Reduces tearout and improves control. Considering the boardfoot cost of hardwoods, if you save a half a dozen board feet from being ruined by dipping of the work near the bit, you will more than recoup the cost of this item.

I bought this product complete with a Porter Cable 7518 motor, brand new for $674. There is no way you should pay any more than that.

I know a lot of guys that build their own router tables, and someday I might. But if you want to be up and running in a couple hours, this is the way to go.

This is the cadillac of router tables. It totally blew my budget, but what a piece of equipment. It has completely removed the drudgery of changing bits and most importantly, making minute adjustments. No excuses now, whatever I'm doing it will be "right-on-the-money". I looked at other brands and types and lets just say you get what you pay for. My Grandkids will be using this router table and lift in their shop. Easy set-up and clear instructions. The initial use was better than I anticipated, so much so that I built a furniture grade cabinet to support it. Yep, I like it.

I have been using a rockler table for years and although very good I ended up buying the whole Jess-em system and I love the ease and accuracy of it all, yes it is expensive but if you are a serious hobbyist (like I am)and can afford it, it is well worth it

This was an extremely easy install. JessEm includes an aluminum insert that mates with one of the two phenolic inserts to make installation a breeze. The installer only provides a 1/2" straight bit to maintain alignment to facilitate marking the base. Eight threaded inserts make leveling easy and the phenolic plate is dead flat. Very well made item.

I finally decided to stop messing around with half-measures and got the Mast-R-Lift and a Porter Cable 7815 to go with it. Together, they're like having a Bridgeport Mill for wood. The ability to change bits and adjust the bit height from the top is almost worth the price by itself. I often avoided using my previous table even when it was the obvious best solution, simply because it was such a PITA to change bits and make height adjustments from below. I now use the router table for as much as possible because it's so easy to set up. However, the precision and control afforded by the beefy-but-elegant construction is the real story. The crank mechanism of the lift has very fine adjustment capability with no noticeable backlash. My only tiny quibble is that it would be nice to be able to zero the depth indicator disc at a given point.
I highly recommend the template for making the cut-out in your table. It produced a very nice tight fit for the lift, much better than the fit I was able to produce for my previous router plate without a template. The cost of the template is much less than the cost of a new table top if you make a mistake that you don't want to have to look at every time you use the table.

I've had my 10" XACTA Right Tilt saw for almost a year now. It has the 30" fence due to limited shop space, however other than the fence it is the same saw. The set-up took about two hours, the hard part being getting the table extensions and table insert flat and true. Mounting the fence rails didn't present a challange, and getting the fence itself square turned out to be easy as well. The instructions were clear and I had already downloaded a copy from the Jet web site to study in anticipation of delivery. Moving to the Jet from a Sears Craftsman is like night and day. The old saw had a hard time with 2" softwood, the Jet zips through all the hardwoods I have fed it and only once have I had anything slow it down. That was the one time I tried to rip a 4x4 a little too fast. I looked at the Unisaw prior to buying the Jet, and concluded that having to buy a dust chute as an extra didn't really make sense. I felt that the Delta also didn't attach the aux. table as well as Jet. Is it perfect? No. I have had to calk the sloping floor of the cabinet to help contain sawdust and keep it off the floor, and it was difficult to find a stud to attach the bonding wire for the dust collector. The finish on the Aux. table was rough and gave me a really bad splinter, but all that is minor. The saw and fence have held allignment as close as I am able to measure for a year now, and that includes a couple of kickbacks that would have brought out the tools on the old saw. I have replaced the spreader with the Byssemeyer in the hope that the increased convinence of the Bysse will lead me to use it more than the origional and stop those dangerous kickbacks. For the money, and a saw of this price and quality should be a lifetime investment, I feel this is the best value around.

Purchased this saw 8 months ago and love it. I was delived right to my shop. Set up was easy. I love the router lift I have a route table that I made awhile ago. It now sits in the corner. This is the best table saw I have owned.
