clean, comfortable sandingI love this sander. The handle is comfortable and makes sanding allot easier. I had another vacuum sander but never ended up finishing a job with a regular sander since the other vacuum sander was so uncomfortable and difficult to use. Using this I was able to do a small drywall job in my house without moving out or coating the house with dust as happens with a regular sander. I'm not a professional so I really appreciated the soft grip which made holding onto it after sanding for a long time much easier. I also liked being able to shift hand positions and use both hands for difficult parts or to give my arms a break.

Great screwdriver from decking I purchased this screwdriver for the main purpose of laying deck boards. It work smoothing and is a very quick screwdriver. It takes some a little time to get the hang of it but not long and when you do you can lay down a lot a screws in a short period. I've never had any problems with Milwaukee, and would recommend it over any other brand. Wish it came in a case but that is the only negative I hve for this purchase.
Power to Burn!...This Milwaukee driver is perfect! If you are looking for real power, this is the driver! Hit the trigger, and it will almost twist your wrist. A very versatile tool, it will dimple drywall with zero damage, yet drive a screw (3 1/2") into 75+ year old studs without hesitation. The adjustment is able to change drop-off depths by 1/64". Once you set it up, it never changes. Changing bits is easy, too. The whole nose snaps off to change bits, and you don't lose your adjustment. This is one of my favorite features since my former drywall gun nose piece had to be screwed off to change bits, then readjusted. I was a little concerned about the low max RPM (2500 RPM). (Must be a guy thing!) This is more than enough speed. The trigger is very sensitive to pressure, so speed can be regulated easy. As usual, Milwaukee Tools are the best! The only drawback was delivery, not the tool. I ordered it on June 28th, and received it August 9th. Order it before you need it ...

Milwaukee shines again!I purchased this combo set about 5 weeks ago. I am remodeling my garage/shop and I have used every piece of this combo set - and it works fantastic. The hammer/drill eats through masonry like it is wood. In record time. I have used the circ saw to cut full sheets of 1/4 ply-wood and 1/4 inch peg board. It is accurate and fast (although the charge drops significantly when using this tool). The batteries charge quickly and hold a charge for a while. The light had been great and is very bright. And, of course the recip saw is Milwaukee's trade mark. It is the best tool made by Milwaukee (which are all great in my opinion). I would highly recommend this product and best of all is is compatible with the new 24v lithium ion batteries just released a few months ago by Milwaukee.

Dedicated to it's job.Although this tool is some what limited in use it performs excellent for the purpose it was designed for. I have used this tool to drill and tap many holes in machine bases and bolster plates that were too large or could not be moved to a drill press. With a good lay out job and heavy center punch you can accurately place the Mag Drill on center each time. The base of the tool is also a de-magnetizer for easy removal of chips and clean up.

12 Years and Still Going Strong!!I bought this little sander when I first began contracting more than 12 years ago. The thing is still going strong. Sheet changes are a snap with the front and rear levers. The sander fits comfortably in your hand for long sessions on drywall and furniture. You name the job and its likely that this little sander can tackle it. It's taken years of abuse and neglect. Like they used to say about Timex watches, this Milwaukee sander "takes a lickin' and keeps on ticken'." Unlike the unfortunate reviewer below, I have never had a problem with any of my Milwaukee tools. In fact, I've never had a problem with any contractor-quality tool I've ever purchased (Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita, etc.) Like many purchases, personal preference seems to ranks high in tool selection. I just happen to be partial to Milwaukee and this 1/4 sheet sander is one of the reasons why. Overall grade? A+.

MILWAUKEE 7" GRINDER (6068)MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS GRINDER/SANDER IS FROM A SUPPORT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST CONTRACTORS IN THE U.S. THIS MILWAUKEE GRINDER WAS ONE OF THE COMPONENTS IN OUR PROJECT TOOL TRAILERS FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL IN SCOPE. OVER THE COURSE OF TWO YEARS IN INSPECTING THEM AND REPAIRING THEM, I FOUND THEM TO BE A VERY DURABLE UNIT. THE MOST COMMON REPAIRS CONSISTED OF CLEANING THE UNITS UP, BLOWING OUT THE DIRT, CHANGING THE BRUSHES AND REPLACING CUT CORDS OR DAMAGED PLUGS OR MISSING GUARDS. THE FIELDS, ARMATURES, GEARING ARE REALLY SOLID. THE CASES WILL BREAK IF YOU DROP THEM, AS WITH ANY TOOL. SWITCHES ARE VERY DEPENDABLE. ALWAYS USE THEM WITH A GUARD WHEN GRINDING. THESE ARE MY OPINIONS FROM INSPECTING APPROXIMATELY 100 OF THESE TOOLS, COMING BACK FROM THE PROJECTS.

Best Angle GrinderI've had this grinder for three years now, and have used it for cutting, grinding and sanding metal and masonry - it has been flawless. I've even thrown diamond-cutting wheels on it for wet and dry cutting of tile and concrete (also occasional drywall jobs).
I own three angle grinders - this 5" Milwaukee, a 7" Dewalt, and a 9" Milwaukee. I pull this out over 90% of the time. The balance, weight, and variable speed make this the tool of choice. You will probably be surprised how often you'll make use of the variable speed on this tool. This is one of only a few power tools that I couldn't live without.
The only drawback is the limited selection of 5" wheels, but since it out performs the other 4 1/2 grinders, that's not much of an issue. It isn't the cheapest angle grinder out there, but I'm convinced it is the best.

Another great Milwaukee productThis saw is a great product. There are only two drawbacks but they are minimal. One, the maximum cutting depth is 3 1/2 inches compared to the other models at 4 3/4, however the cutting width is 4 1/2 inches so if your good you can cut things as big around as 5 or 6 inches if you roatate the stock. Second, this tool is not equipped with a variable speed trigger. It is two speeds, controlled by a seperate switch. Overall though it is an excellent heavy duty saw. Easy to use and fairly light weight under 20 lbs. to lift and cut, with easy to use front handle for great control. I used it to cut 2/0 service cable at about shoulder level worked really great!!
I normally wouldn't choose Makita as my number one choice, but after some serious shopping a few months ago it seemed the only way to go. This little machine has everything that counts and except for my one complaint it is missing nothing. Compare this to any other belt sander to see if the other one you're looking at has got everything is should have... Then buy this one, cause you won't find it.
This is an exceptional belt sander with only one flaw in my opinion.. I think the handle grip should have a little more tilt downward toward the back and not be such a flat a grip. It seems to cause my wrist to bend unnecessarily and I find it a bit tiring, noticed more when sanding on a higher table... My wrists aren't the greatest though, so you may not even notice it.
But besides that one "flaw"?? It is the best balanced belt sander I have ever used, It is compact in design. It has a low center of gravity. It sands flat with no dimples. It never, and I mean never goes off track. Put the belt on, adjust it once maybe, and don't touch it again until you change belts; amazing.
The bag is in the most logical place it can be, on the inside towards you, not hanging up in the air like some models which always irritated me anytime you did anything other than use the sander on materials that you lay flat on a table to sand. If you need to use it side ways, or in awkward positions or even not so awkward positions out on the job or in the shop, that design of bag is really quite stupid to have. There are a few models made by Makita that have that terrible bag location as well as other brands. But not this model 9920.. This is the bag of bags.. This Makita has a sturdy enough bag, that when full, it does not drop below the sanding surface and it never falls off. It doesn't sway in the wind either like the others I just mentioned. It stays firmly in place even when full without ever getting in the way. It is easy to empty as well. What more could you want.??
One of the very most important design details in my opinion for any belt sander is the ability of the belt to sand flush right up next to a wall. This one does it best. The motor housing is wisely and logically designed in far enough from the open belt side to let you put that baby right next to something with great precision... Can you tell I like this sander?
Yep,, lightweight, yet sturdy. Plenty of power, quiet, It is very quiet for any belt sander. It also comes with a 15' cord. What a great idea huh? Don't need to drag around an extension cord. To bad many other manufacturers don't see the simple genius in that longer cord. The variable speed works superiorly. This is a superior belt sander! $200 bucks,, or more, what a steal.... I am seriously considering buying another one because you know how it is, you find something you love and then they stop making it.. Problem is, it feels like this little baby will last this one man shop for 15 years.. I hope to retire by then and I bet this thing just may get me through my tinkering. I will let you know in 15 years....
Sincerely,,
Barry
