The service was prompt but the problem was; the product was for a different vacuum. It was too small by about 2 inches in circumference. I needed it so I had to split the attachment ring and piece the material to make it fit. It is not good but better then nothing.

I purchased a powermatic model 73 from a friend of mine and it needed a lower bag, I purchased a lower cloth bag and thought it was too small, I was in the process of returning it so I went on line and read the prior review of installing it on the inside and the idea is ingenious and I,m glad i bought the powermatic model 73 and the lower cloth bag.

I needed a cloth bag for my Powermatic dust collector to reduce the cost of plastic bags. I received this bag (it did take a long time to get) and just like another reviewer, the bag didn't fit. Then I realized that the bag fits on the inside of the housing instead of outside. It also didn't require any band clamps. I think this is ingenious. I've had it on the collector for two or three years and it still works great. I was looking for another dust collector with this feature and I haven't found one. Powermatic no longer makes the model 73. What a shame. They should make them all like this.

The Delta A200 Shopmaster air filter is an excellent product, however Delta brand filters, at more than $12 each, are way too expensive! I ordered a box standard 12x24x1 furnace filters, 10 for around $32. When the filters arrived they were of equal or better quality then the Delta filters, HOWEVER, they are just slightly too large! Seems like Delta forces you to use their off-size filter, rather than an industry standard. I assume they see consumables as a high margin business.

I suggest you consider another other brand air filter system, like Jet, and determine if they can use standard sized filters. If yes, DO NOT buy the Delta air filter system. In the longrun, you will save a ton of money if you can use a standard filter.

I've used these filters and they perform well, but I have since switched to the electrostatic filter and like it much better. It is much easier to clean and seems to do a better job filtering as well.

This filter is excellent. It can be vaccumed or blown out several times without loosing it filtering ability. I do think that it is a tad expensive.

My neighbor bought one of these tables as his shop is actually in a spare bedroom. It arrived in sad shape, two of the corners had come apart and we had to glue and clamp it back together. It works ok but is pretty heavy and as mentioned before the top is not fastened to the carcass. This problem was easily fixed with some glue and screws. Don't know where the idea of the cloth screen came from, it just clogs up and hampers the vac's performance. It works ok now, but I think I will build my own. I think I can build one for the cost of shipping this one.

This downdraft table is poorly constructed with poor materials. The sides and bottom is of MDF board with rather crude joints -- one of the corner joints came apart during shipment. I had to glue it back together. The top is just a piece of peg board that sits on rabbets of the side panels. You have to put a piece of non-slip material (very wrinkled from the shipment) on top of the peg board. The peg board falls out everytime I move the table (heavy because of the MDF boards) since the peg board is not fastened to the base in anyway. The dust collector connector just pushes into a hole in the base. The whole table costs about $12 in material to make. To charge so much for such low quality in both material and workmanship is ridiculous!

This is one of those accessories so obvious that I'm emabarassed not to have had one until now. This will really save your nose - its a nice wide work surface - really helps keep your work area clean

I have used these filters for about 4 years with my Wap SQ 10 gallon. As the above reviewer mentioned they work great untill about 1/2 full then they rip where they attach to the plastic hose mount.I have tried with poor success to use duct tape to reinforce that area. Also, they are too expensive.

Watch out for the seal between the plastic attachment ring and the bag itself as it gets strained under the weight of even a one-half full bag and can tear out. For the record i have not been able to get these bags more than 40% full of dry wall dust before they start to spring a leak. Maybe this is the best compromise that can be acheived between loss of air flow and loss of dust.???

This is the worst piece of engineering I have ever seen it blew fuses for no reason, the gate timing changed and locked at one time interval which wasn't enough too fully open or close the gates. Even when it was working the gates gradually stopped closing all the way and had to be manually closed the rest of the way. It worked alright at first so I bought another controller box so I could open more gates (will only open 8 gates with one controller) but problems got worse sometimes gates would just stop working I would check all the wires switch parts and about an hour later all of a sudden they would start working and be good for a month or so. It made the gates hooked to the second control box open with a greater time lag since one box triggered the other. The new style gates didn't work to well either if you tightened the hose to tight they stopped opening, and they seem to strip the gears out for no reason. Great idea to bad it was so poorly executed.

I got a ecogate system a few years ago with 4 gates. I am getting four more. Mine has been working fine for two years now. I decided to give this a try before buying a new dust collector. I do reset the system once in a while, but it is very easy to use.

I have the 10 gallon vacuum. These bags are obviously too big for it. In trying fit the first bag into my vacuum, I either tore the tape binding the end, or it tore on its own. I've had these bags before and they didn't seem as big. It was the first thing I noticed. I've also used the Shop Vac brand and generics but think these bags are designed better if they fit. I don't think I'll order them again though. I'll just buy the ones at the home centers.

I've used these filter bags since I purchased my Porter Cable 15 Gal. capacity Wet/Dry vac. Sure the vacuum works without the bag, but for plaster, drywall, and demolition dirt/dust, you're going to want it. The bag keeps the vac's main filter from getting clogged up, and when the bag is full, you simply lift it out and throw it away! And they're pretty tough too! I like to milk the most from every bag and even full of plaster dust and debris (heavy) it didn't rip or puncture on the way to the dumpster.

Did I mention the non-existent blow-out of dust material? Between the bag's filtration and the vac's filter, the dust gets trapped in the vacuum where it belongs - not floating around your job site.

This is a decent hose...but [would like] something stronger. The hose can slightly crease on my 650 CFM dust collector just above the point where I connect to the inlet. This is definitely one of those overlooked items that you don't want to be cheap on

Not as flexible as some dust collection hose that I have used in the past. Somewhat difficult to get onto the blast gates. 4" clamps just fit to secure.

You may want to look at other sources of Dust Collection Accessories Kits. If you are using a small dust collector then this may work. A large system you will want to use rigid piping and minimize the flexible tubing. Flexible tubing causes reduction in vacuum - the longer the run the less efficient your dust collector is.

Other accessory kits are available through Penn State Industries aka "pennstateind" or Grizzly that may have more variety of components at a competitive price.

I've owned mine for a couple years now & have had no problems. The only thing I can complain about is that it's kind of a hassel re-attaching the dust bag when you empty it. It can be hard holding the bag up around the canister and getting the metal band around it at the same time. Maybe a zipper to empty it ?
I would buy it again.

This metal saw is of quality Makita construction. The only nits are that this saw requires you to use a jig or table to hold the material down for a smooth cut. It's blade has too coarse of a vibration for free hand cut off of tubing. It is also hard to see the blade to maintain an accurate cut line.
