Completely satisfiedMy first DeWalt tool and I've been completely satisfied. Plenty of power and torque. Two-way level is very useful. Hand tightened chuck keeps bits locked in place without slippage (which was a concern of mine prior to purchase). Case is nice. Excellent value when compared to others. Will look for DeWalt again for my next tool purchase.
good quality, good priceThis is a great, reasonably priced drill that has plenty of power. It is not too heavy and the keyless chuck is great. This drill will satisfy most peoples' needs. I use a cordless drill most of the time and get this drill out for more demanding jobs. However, I have since purchased a 1/2 inch chuck hammer drill for even bigger jobs and drilling in concrete. In retrospect, I could have skipped buying the DeWalt, but it is still a great drill.
500+ sq ft subfloor later...put down over 500 sq ft of subfloor in one day with this drill - got a little warm at times, but certainly kept right up.

telpro panel lift This unit is very user friendly, well designed. When disassembled the components are light and easy to carry, and assembly is very simple and quick, all the pieces just slip together, without tools, in about a minute. The top is quickly adjustable to acommodate different lengths of drywall, and with the tilting top and fold away hooks it makes it a one man job loading the drywall and raising it to the ceiling. The casters roll very well making for easy alignment of the panels. My only regret is that I didn't buy one years ago.
Drywall LifterI purchased this product after renting one from the local rental store. I was very pleased with the rental unit and even happier with the new one I purchased on Amazon. I shopped locally for the same unit and found the best price on Amazon. Great Product!
Get the real thingI'd agree with all these reviews and just add one caveat: Make sure you get the real thing. There are a lot of cheap Chinese knock-offs of this lift around. I've seen several of them and, while they LOOK similar, they are NOT the same thing. The Chinese knock-offs are very poorly constructed and not worth the "savings." Make sure you buy a genuine "Panellift" brand from Telpro which is made in the US. Those guys have been building lifts since the early 70's and they know what they are doing.

This is a great sander.I teach high school Wood Fabrication and Manufacturing and I have two of the Bosch 3727 Random Orbital Sanders in my shop. I have used other random orbital sanders in the past, like Dewalt and Ryobi, and I found them difficult to hold on too. These sanders are wonderful. They are very smooth, create an excellent finish and are very well balanced and stable. You can easily hold on to them with one hand and keep the sanding pad on the work piece. Definitely the best random orbital sander I've ever used.
Great sander!I have this sander at home and it does an amazing job. I have a Fein vacuum that, when connected to the sander, makes it pretty much dust free. The sanders own dust bag does a good job too but hooked up to the vacuum you really get spoiled.
If you work in a wood working shop everyday the sanders to get would be the Fein 8", 6" and a pneumatic 5" or 6". The Fein has a lager throw so it sands off more with each pass than the Bosch with the same grit paper.
The Bosch however is easier to control, lighter, very quiet (compared to the Fein), less expensive, and a lot more comfortable to use. I work in a shop making furniture so I do a lot of sanding and I have been very happy with this sander!
Awsome piece of equipmentI bought this sander to replace my Dewalt palm sander and I love it. Its a little heavy if your sanding walls or a ceiling but if you're on a flat surface its fine. The paper is a snap to change. This is a truly awesome sander.

Great except for the hold downI received this feather board for Christmas 2005 and have already used it on one project. Because I already own the Bench Dog feather board, and liked it pretty well, I used that as a benchmark to compare this model.
First the good:
1. The magnetic base is very strong yet releases easily with the tilting lever.
2. The flexible strip that puts sideways pressure on the board you are cutting is stiff enough to do its job, yet flexible enough to bend easily when adjusting the unit.
3. The price is fair for what you get.
As for bad marks...
1. I am disappointed in the flexible strip that holds the workpiece down to the table. It is not adjustable for height and seems to be pushed to its limit while cutting anything that is a full 3/4" thick. If you have thicker stock you will have to remove this for the cut.
2. When using on the table saw as I near the end of a cut, when the end of the board slides out from under the hold down there is a startling "SNAP" noise made as the plasic hold down slaps onto the saw table. Of course you never see that coming because your eyes are on the blade where they should be.
Overall, I like this tool and have found it to be great for jointing the edge of panels that are usually a challenge on the jointer. As for table saw use, its not a terrible design by any stretch of the word but I much prefer the Bench Dog feather board for that application.

Terrific product, but oh so much better with steel fence and roller guidesI will let others extoll the virtues of this product. My message is that you should consider buying the complete "Mesa Vista Design GT2000 42" Magnetic Featherboard System". This comprises two Grip-Tites, a 4" high, 42" steel cover for your aluminum table saw fence, and roller guides that attach to each each Grip-Tite. Yes, at $150 it costs a lot more than one or two Grip-Tites, but it much more useful, and really essential for narrow rip cuts on your table saw. I started with two Grip-Tites, then bought the fence and roller guides. They are well-worth the additional cost. Please see my review, and reviews by others, of the GT2000 system.
These are a great finger saver.I love these so much that I just purchased a second set. I use them on my table saw, band saw, shaper, and jointer, any place I want to keep my fingers away from moving cutters while holding material tight to a fence or table top.

Very pleasedThis replaced my old Twist extra that was around for lots of years, and is as good or better than the old one. The convienience of charging the batteries along with the screwdriver is a plus with this new one, and the storage compartment for the included bit is handy to have.
A very good tool for the price.............

Awesome tool!I've had two of these screwdrivers for twelve years and am only now replacing the batteries. The screwdrivers still work great. They are VERY strong, will screw or unscrew virtually anything, and the batteries last a long time between charges. I once lost one of them for over a year - couldn't imagine what happened to it - and finally found it right where I'd left it - inside an evaporative cooler on the roof of my house. The metal parts - collar and screwdriver bit - were totally rusted, but when I put a freshly charged battery in the unit worked just fine, and does so to this day. Highly recommended.
"Super Twist" Is A Fitting NameHave owned one for at least 12 years, went through a couple of batteries, now its finally time for a new one. Sturdy, perfect power, efficient, all the great things everyone else has already said. Buying my second one, even if they quit making the batteries, I can't complain about a tool that lasts as long as this one and works as hard for the price. Their new flex handle version looks nice also, but this one has come to feel like an extension of my hand, with years of solid service.

Needs to have a 52" fence optionI wish I could add another 5 * review as I'm a fan of DeWalt tools, but I have a problem with this base. The base is "supposed" to work with the 52" table saw base, but compromises have to be made.
1) No matter how you adjust the legs, you must shim the legs on the 52" table. There is not enough play in the adjustments to do otherwise. As a result, if you have to move the saw around and your floor is less than level (whose isn't), you will have SOME degree of twisting of the extension table relative to the main table.
2) When you do move the saw with the extension table, ONLY the saw is supported. The table is not. So you have a 52" MDF table and it's hardware being supported by it's attachment points along one narrow edge of the extension table.
As a result, I may look into selling mine and buying an HTC design which supports both the table and the saw.

This is not an option, it is a necessity! At the time I bought my DW746 table saw Amazon was offering this base as an added bonus (for the same price). If I had to order this thing separately, I probably would have tried to make something less expensive work for me. I am so glad that I have this base instead!
What I like about this product:
1. This thing is STOUT. The construction of this base is very heavy duty. Although my DW746 is a heavy beast, I am sure the base would handle much more weight than I am throwing on it with this saw.
2. The lift pedal mechanism works very smoothly. Another reviewer describes this base as having a tendency to 'drop' the saw when you are lowering the foot pedal. I noticed the same thing on the demo model I looked at in a Woodcraft store. Mine however does NOT seem to do this yet. I don't know if DeWalt tweaked it to fix the problem or I just got lucky...
3. I appreciate the fact that this base allows you to bolt the legs of the saw right to it - giving the saw cabinet even more stiffness and strength.
4. Once you have depressed the foot pedal, this thing smoothly and easily rolls the saw wherever you want it. Tight turns and small debris on the floor do not seem to pose a problem for this base.
What I don't like:
1. The price. Actually mine was included in a package deal, so I have no complaints. However, if I had to go buy the thing I would be chafing at the price.
A PIECE OF ADVICE:
If you buy this at the same time as you buy the DW746 saw remember this. The saw is shipped upside down in the crate. Assemble the base and attach it to the saw legs BEFORE you turn the saw right side up. Otherwise it is a real bear for two people to set the saw on the base while trying to line-up the bolts that attach legs to base...
Overall observations:
This is a very high quality product that you really will need and use all of the time if you buy it. I cannot say that you will be happy with the price tag, but once you make the investment you will never regret owning this accessory!

They Make the Impossible - Possible.I bought two of these horses just over a year ago. I stumbled across them by surfing amazon looking for scaffolding. It took me some time to reach the decision to purchase because of their high price. Forget about the cost; they are worth twice what they are asking for them.
I bought them to use on a very difficult section of siding that I was trying to replace (I have a 170-year-old home and I have been slowly replacing all the siding with cedar clapboards). The area of the house that I needed to reach was the gable side of a shed dormer that was 30 ft. from the ground. The dormer is only reachable from an attached shed that has a very steep coragated metal roof on it. I had to come up with a way to scaffold the roof to reach the dormer. I screwed a cleat to the roof and used the Broncos adjustable legs to compensate for the steep angle. Long story short - I don't know how else I could have done it. They made a stable platform on a very dangerous surface. I am currently using them as a base for two legs of contractor scaffolding on a rocky and uneaven bank on the side of a garage. It is difficult to describe, but believe me these horses can pay for themselves with just one use.

ImpressiveThe other reviews are accurate. I wish I could have bought these 30 years ago. Simple, stable, quick & easy. They actually work. My first use was on a roof, just like in their advt. pictures. I expected trouble. It was actually stable! Wish I had thought of the design. Unless your tools are ripped off on a regular basis the price is no barrier. You will save the cost in time. Instead of spending 2 hours to haul blocking & staging sections into a hole beside an elevated building, it took 10 minutes to set these up and throw on a plank. Most of that was the climbing in with the pieces.
Ultimate sawhorse! You must get them if you can afford them!Cut & dried, these puppies ROCK!! They'll NEVER wobble on the ground, and are EXCELLENT as staging, as they claim to be. They are SUPER STRONG, and will NOT leave you hoping that they won't collapse. (They are NOT like the picture shows them, the connecting arm to the third leg has obviously been improved since they were first invented, and the frame is NOT square tubing as shown, but round. The adjustments of ALL LEGS is in 1.5" increments, not just one leg). I built a 16' gazebo with them, and used them ON TOP OF SCAFFOLDING PLANKING to reach the top of the roof to complete the shingling, and to affix the cupola. Using ratchet-strapping to hold them down, to insure that they wouldn't budge, I planked from these to the 6/12 pitch roof, in a level fashion. I was ecstatic with the performance of these things. If you can afford them, and have a need for these, then DON'T PASS THEM BY! My personal safety is important enough to me to not skimp on, and these allowed me to do a challenging job safely.

Trust me, it is well worth it!I have owned this saw for over 3 years now. It is a shame that I had paid the full introductory price when it had come out, but I wouldn't trade this saw for anything. I also own the complete 24V cordless line by Bosch. I own a small contractor buisness doing everything from kitchens, baths, additions, full house construction, to concrete work and everything in between. Not only is this saw worth it's weight in gold, but the entire 24V Bosch is worth the same. I can not write a good enough review for this item. It is so handy to set up and cut a few pieces of trim with such accuracy as my 12" Bosch Sliding Compound miter saw. In fact, I have found myself using this saw for just about every job, since I already have the case with my other cordless tools. I have trimmed out $750k houses with this saw, just set it up in every room that needs trimwork, hook it up to my shop vac and away I go with accurate miters. The only thing that I had wished this saw had was the dual compound feature, but I am used to turning crown over and cutting it the other way. The saw holds an accurate fence and the positive miter detents are right on! Again, it takes only 5 min. to pull the saw out, set it down, and begin cutting with no cords to drag around. It is the nearest replacement to a quality cordes miter saw you can ever have. I am truely convinced to forever puchase the old blue and red over the yellow and black any day. Bravo Bosch!

best buy yetwell ive had this saw for a month now. i couldnt be happier i install kitchens and bath cabinets everyday and use it everyday, the battery lasted longer than i thought it would before i had to recharge it. its so light my helper dosent complain anymore about dragging the saw around. between this and the bosch cordless jigsaw and the nail gun i hardly have to plug in anything anymore i read some of the reviews before i bought this last saw most were favorable some wernt but for what i do its great i guess if i did trim all day i would want 2 batteries but thats the only down side
Great saw for the intended designFirst let me say I am not a contractor I am a weekend warrior but I do like doing my own project work.
I bought this saw about 2 months ago because I had a project to build a double set of outside stairs. The nearest power was 1/4 mile away and I don't own a generator.
This saw is very good. I was suprised by it power. The stairs I built were completely made from green treated lumber. I was able to cut 2x12 stair treads with no problem. Yes I had to flip the wood over and yes the wood was still wet. I was amazed. I also bought the 24 volt circular saw. It too exceeded my expectation. I also own the Corded Dewalt 12 inch compound miter. This saw can't do everything the Dewalt can do but you can't expect it to. For what it is worth I have not found a job it can't do yet.
I would highly recommend this saw to any one.

Swing Away Wall Can OpenerIt's the best. I ordered two to replace the two that had worn out (but only after years of faithful service) . . . One for my home and one for our summer hideaway.
This made me think what a great (practical) gift this would make
. . . included with it some canned goods for the newly weds . . . they'd thank me some day. :)

WONDERFUL!!!I have arthritis in my wrists and thumbs - turning a regular handle on a manual opener is PAINFUL and electric openers break or can't handle every size can. This opener does it all. The crank handle is perfect!

Very good toolI really like this tool. The plunge release/lock mechanism is th ebest around. MUCH nicer than dewalt's or PorterCable's. The motor is smooth and the micro-adjust mechanism works beautifully. My only complaint is that the top is not flat and bit changes are a little less convenient as a result. Pretty minor compared to the tool's overall performance.
1613AEVS Top of the list!It was either this one or the Dewalt DW621, the two best routers in this class. For the readers sake I will compare its features to the Dewalt. Both machines are 2HP, both have a smooth plunge but the Dewalt wins in this respect. They both have dust extraction, Bosch via an attachment and the Dewalt built into one of the plunge posts. If you do not hook up the Dewalt's dust extraction you will inhale the dust and eat the chips. They both employ Soft Start and are variable speed with constant speed technology. As for motor noise the Bosch certainly wins, it has half the noise of the Dewalt, and is comfortable to operate without hearing protection. Both machines have micro adjustment knobs, the Bosch's can be adjusted while the plunge is locked, the Dewalt's cannot. The micro gauge reading on the Bosch is much easier to understand than on the Dewalt. I like the 1/8 step graduations on the depth stop rather than the three post adjustable on the Dewalt. This feature is a user preference you can make your own assumption. The base on the Bosch is larger and more conventional than the Dewalt's. As for quality you can't go wrong with either, time will tell. Bosch makes an excellent product, take the quality for the best and study the features you need.
1613AEVS Top of the list!It was either this one or the Dewalt DW621, the two best routers in this class. For the readers sake I will compare its features to the Dewalt.
