Bosch CC2130 Clic-Change 27-Piece Chuck, Drill Bit & Driver SetAmazon was unable to deliver and cancelled the order.
UsefulThis set works well. Wish I had gotten one years ago. Read an article in a woodworking magazine recommending the Bosch. They were sold on the easy working one handed bit changes.
possibly one of the best ways you could spend $30I can not express my complete satisfaction with this set--it is perfect.
Of all the tool purchases I've made this might have been the best investment--I've had this set for nearly 3 yrs, used them daily (hourly in many cases) and yet the set looks as good as new. I broke the two smallest drill bits--but that can be expected--and they were easily replaced, (not to be expected). I rely on this set completely as it has fundamentally changed my working habits--it would be inconceivable having to get by without this set.
I went ahead and augmented this set with the self-centering and piloting taper (for wood/drywall screws) bits and no complaints thus far although I wish there was a more comprehensive quality bit set available for use with this chuck.
Bosch fumbles many tools and accessories (e.g. the edge guide for their jigsaw) but when they get something right it is a thing of wonder.

Good but not greatThis is a good addition to the saw, but when the saw is not in use, the extension when closed conlicts with the lock lever for the saw table extension and thus it does not go flush to the table top. As a working extension, it does the job well.
Flawlessthe extention works great. Contrary to previous posters, I did not have any problems with the right side extention lever handle. I did adjust the lever tension some time before. I knew about the presumed flaw when I was buying it, but figured the extention was worth it. Even if you have to tweak the right side extention lever(and it's possible to do so), the extention is well worth it.
very good extensionand very easy to install. you could make one of your own, but it's really not cost effective.

Lousy Built Quality and there are better options..Paying over $250, I expected better build quality from Bosch but this is made more of Plastic and I also felt Jolt in my hands many times.
Build Quality is Sketchy and won't last for more than 6 months if you use it over 1 hour a day.
Check the one from Home Depot, Rigid as it feels solid and does job way better and costs only $170.
I am returning this one for sure.
I loved bosch tools but lately I am returning more Bosch tools and going for Ridgid and Makita brands as I use my tools over 14 hours a week.
Heavy duty sander, nothing wimpy hereI was looking for a 6" random orbit sander that could be used with a shop vac for dust free sanding. When you get right down to it, there are not that many choices. The Metabo SXE450 and its discountinued Rigid clone the 2610, the Festool RO150 and the smaller ETS 150 series are its closest competitors. The Fein MSF636-1 is way overpriced and the Makita BO6040 had middling reviews and no dust collection. I bought the Bosch sight unseen and have been very well pleased with the results.
This sander is no lightweight. Using 80 grit sandpaper on the agressive setting at full speed and it will walk you around if you dont have a good grip on it. But that is the same as the much more expensive Festool RO150 and that sander costs about double the Bosch. On the less aggressive setting or with the speed lowered down a bit it is easier to handle but does not remove as much material. Using a medium grit sandpaper on the smaller orbit, it is very smooth and makes quick work of sanding chores. Dust collection using my Fein vac is excellent, I can find no dust on the work when hooked up. Dust collection is integral to the tool, it's not an afterthought and it shows in how well it works. In Summary:
Pros: Very powerfull, smooth, well constructed, excellent dust collection, Made in Germany, cheaper than the Festools
Cons: Heavy tool, not small, can be a handfull on wide orbit setting, more expensive than the Metabo
Please note, the Vac002 adapter Amazon sells does not fit this sander. I ended up with a fein adapter that works perfectly.

saves lots of timeI've used the Porter Cable version of this tool for years. After reading reviews of the Bosch, I decided to buy it even though I already had one. I am so glad that I did. The velcro pad is so much better than the PC's PSA. The real bargain is in the time savings I have realized. Sanding in my cabinet shop takes up a lot of time. Using the aggressive mode of this tool saves an immense amount of time. Great job.

Lots of power, nice. The Bosch 1677MD 7-1/4" 15 Amp Worm drive Construction Saw with Direct Connect overall performance is excellent; however, it leaked oil. I'm happy with the saw.
still a great sawI don't need to say how great this saw is. Other reviewers have covered that.
As another reviewer noted, though, the saw is out of square. Mine was out by 1/32". The removal of a couple screws and some shims corrected the problem and now it runs true. For a tool of this caliber, you shouldn't have to service it right out of the box. I'd have given it 3.5 stars for that.

love this beasti have been wanting a worm drive for a while after seeing some of my co workers using the skill mag 77 and what that can do. being a bosch fan i checked out this version and i really liked the extra feature with the same skill quality saw. hope it lasts me as long as my grandfathers skill. i have been using it for a few weeks and no problems yet plus it has the provantage 3 year protection plan.

great power...short lifeI am a framing carpenter and need a good, long lasting saw. This saw has great power, sturdy construction, but i've only had it a year and it already doesn't work. I pull the trigger, but nothing. I haven't been rough on it. I'm hoping it's just the brushes, bt still...only one year? I have much less expensive Skill saw that was nearly ten years old before the brushes needed replacement. Can't say that i am extremely pleased with this saw.
Rear Handle version has better balanceThe loose blade is a definite shipping hazard, both to the saw which sustained more than cosmetic damage and to the unsuspecting cartoon opener as the blade was protruding through the side of the Bosch box. Having decided to probably send this saw back, I bought the rear handle version of it from a local hardware (after checking it for loose blade damage). I tried both and like the rear handle better, it has better balance and is easier on the wrist, follows your line better. Both saws have a tendancy to rotate with the motor when you first start them up, so keep the blade away from your work.
Well Done Bosch!I need to rely on a good saw and like all of my other Bosch products this saw has never let me down. You will get a life time of work out of this workhorse. Don't hesitate, buy this great saw...Bosch reputation alone is enough reason!

Good quality and good priceAfter having received two boxes of varying grits, I was impressed with the quality for the reasonable price. The pads held up very well and I got a lot of use out of each pad. As a weekend woodworker, I think this isa a definate do-over when it comes to purchasing more sanding pads.
Excellent paperMirka makes some of the best sand paper for these small orbital sanders. Buy with confidence. I have purchased all the different grits with the same satisfaction.
Good quality at reasonable price.I purchased a box of 50 discs in 80 grit mfg by Mirka. Was not sure what the quality would be since I had not heard of this brand name. I used on western red cedar with Bosch random orbit model 3107. My sander is agressive and these discs were totally up to the job. I sanded about 60 square feet before I noticed a slight drop off in sanding efficiency. I could have kept using the disk, but put on a new one to keep my project moving along. In total, I sanded about 150 square feet and was on my third disc when the day ended. I had no trouble with clogging, grit falling off, or the paper backer tearing. This is a quality product and I would not hesitate to buy other grits.

The problem I have is that my order was not completed. After not receiving either of the sandpaper packs I ordered, I e-mailed you. One of the packs was sent but the other has not yet arrived and I am wondering if it will come. Maybe you can help on this.

Great SandpaperI worked in a custom cabinet shop for 12 years and all we used was Mirka sandpaper. Now that I'm on my own I continue to use Mirka sandpaper. It last long and does an excellent job! I wouldn't think of using anything else. I like to stick with what works.
These ARE a great value!First of all I have to say that the reason why I happen to be writing this review is because I was on Amazon ordering another box of these sanding discs! There is no higher praise in my book than a return customer!
Now for the review: I have to agree with the other positive reviews and say that I have long been a fan of these Mirka sanding disks. I am a home woodworker whose projects range from DIY stuff around the house, to refinishing, to building fine furniture projects. I have been using these discs for years (in every grit from 80 to 220) and could not be more pleased with the smooth surfaces they produce with my rather inexpensive sander.
I completely agree with the assessment that although these are not the absolute best hook and loop discs on the market, they have performed every task I have asked of them. Overall, I would give this product an A- for quality/performance, and an A+ for value.

Bosch tools are good.Used this template guide set with my router and sign crafter. Worked well as expected, Bosch makes great tools.
Perfect fitUsing products made specifically for other products, particularly from the same manufacturer, has always proven to be the right thing to do and these guides are a good example. There are "fits all" guides available but require some form of modification to the router. Not the Bosch guides. They install and interchange easily and quickly without tools or base replacements. If you need guides for your Bosch router you can't go wrong with this set. You'll even like the plastic case they're stored in.
Love the PC AdapterIt is a very nice set of template guides. Much easier to use than other guides because of the turn and snap in feature. But the main reason I bought this set of guides is because of the RA 1100 adapter which allows you to use porter cable and other 1 3/16" template guides. That was the main selling point for me.

Designed to be a vacuum you don't have to fight withThe light weight, compact design makes the Miele vacuum cleaner highly maneuverable. It can be easily picked up and moved up and down stairs. When you move about the room, you don't have to drag it around like a dead weight, a gentle tug and the main motor unit follows along effortlessly.
It doesn't have a motor-driven carpet brush. At first, I thought it would be a disadvantage, after all, that's a standard feature on most of the American vacuum cleaners. But now I see the logic behind it. The standard floor tool is lighter and easier to move around. Its joint swivels in two directions making it easier to get into corners and under furnitures. The hose also doesn't have embedded electrical cable making it more flexible. For our carpet, the standard floor tool works well enough. The manual does recommend getting the battery powered electro-brush if really deep pile carpet or rug neccesitates it.
The motor is powerful yet very quiet.
Overall, this is a excellent cleaning tool that makes vacuuming less of a chore.

Just greatIt may not have all the special accessories, but for my home it has everything it needs. It is light, easy to maneuver and has great suction. My friend borrowed it and now she has ordered one as well. Just a great vacuum & absolutely worth the money.
Let a Miele Be Your Umbrella! It's not like me to write a rave about a vacuum cleaner, let alone actually use one (except when prompted to by partners or pangs of conscience). However, the minute I Miele'd the rugs, I knew I could never go back to the lackluster performance of cheaper machines. That's just how superior the Miele is, even this, one of the most affordable in their line. It's worth the extra $150 or so compared to top models from Eureka, Hoover, and other popular brands. There's so much going for this model that brevity demands I simply enumerate it's many advantages.
Power: There are six easily adjustable power levels. The highest is an incredible 1,200 watts--plenty to pick up old debris stubbornly clinging to home base. By attaching the long crevice tool you can wedge the wand between rug and wall and pick up generations of dirt--this is no time to get sentimental. The lower power setting are also useful, witht the duster attachment you can go over framed pictures, curtains, etc. without fear that the pictures will fall down or that the curtains or etc. will wind up sucked inside the hose. There's high power, but there's also non-gimmicky variable power.
Mobility: I'm a novice at using a canister vacuum, so I was surprised at how easily the unit followed me the room around like a low-tech robot. You may need to lift it when moving from one room to another, and the Miele is relatively light (compare it to the Dyson, for example) and well-balanced. The standard rectangular head also shows great angular mobility to vacuum hard-to-reach areas. It adds up to a greater effective cleaning area; you'll get closer to walls and curved objects. It's the large appliance equivalent of a close shave.
The Other Stuff: I won't repeat all the information in the product description above except to confirm that the components work (e.g., the filtering system) and the features aren't mere gimmicks. The bag changes more easily than in other vacuums, the useful tools attach to the telescoping steel wand, the electric cord retracts completely and semi-automatically, and is is much quieter than any other v.c. I've used. Yes, the cleaning head doubles as a combo rug/floor cleaner, but unlike the other reviewer, I found that the Miele performed superbly (even with dog fur) on both surfaces without needing rotating brushes. (The head adjusts to floors by retracting some stiff but fairly short non-rotating brushes.) If you need prefer however, you can buy a rotating brush head for about $100 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AMEKHW/ ref=pd_sim_k_2/103-7519344-0327817?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=284507). That costs approximately as much as a model that comes with the "power brush," so you could experiment without it first. If money is no object, then go ahead and get the other model, and send me one too...
Problems: Not many, although I've had it a very short time, and will update this review if it develops any. However, I wish the on/off button were located on the wand rather than on the trailing canister. Furthermore, you're supposed to control power by stepping on the canister's large metallic plate, but this proved somewhat clumsy and slippery when not wearing your shoes.
I'm so pleased with the Miele that I'm taking a break from my usual reviews of books and music to recommend it. A Miele can cost over $1,000, but I suspect that most people won't need these more expensive versions. However, one may want to compare models on the web to find right one for you. I'm actually looking forward to using it tomorrow...the fresher air, cleaner house, and wow factor are worth it.
