Bosch Review THIS IS A HAMMER DRILL - PERIOD
I land survey - bought for drilling 5/8" holes into asphalt/concrete pavements to set 1/2" rebar for property corners-land monuments -- I used a 16" Milwaukee Magnum44 bit - This unit will walk right through the pavement - drilled 2-5/8" holes 14" in depth - and today drill a 1/2" hole through a 6"X12" depth concrete compressive strength test cylinder 4000 PSI - after drilling these three holes the battery level is still shows three lights. These is a very impressive tool - better than a 1/2 gas powered hammer drill. I would recommend the Bosch 11225VSRH to any one - and the name is correct - ANNIHILATOR.

Bosch Review awsome hammer
great tool love the power indicators on the batteries handles everthing i throw its way day in day out just wish it had a chipping only mode gotta plug in my bulldog model to get that type of work done

Bosch Review Finally somewhat got it right!
I am a concrete contractor who since the cordless era has tried nearly all drills, hammer drills or any drill claiming to have the ability to drill 4-6 inch deep holes in concrete with close to the power of a 1 inch rotary hammer. Finally Bosch has done the job. The 11225 will drill 60-70 1/4 inch holes 4-6 inches deep in cured 4000 psi concrete. As most concrete contractors we use tapcons for all our form work and this rotary hammer has proven itself as a time, which means money, saver. We can now set forms on footings without generators or cords. Enough said.

Bosch Review Bosch 1132VSR 3/8" Right-Angle Drill
I used this drill for an entire weekend, drilling holes for electrical wires in a large home addition. It performed flawlessly. Most of the holes were 7/8 inch (using a spade type bit), and this drilled handled it fine. The on/off trigger takes some time to get used; you have to pull down then in to operate the switch, but a great safety feature. I have used other right handle drills that didn't have this and I ended up with banged up knuckles. This is a great little drill, with powerful performance, and excellent quality.

Bosch Review Quality
I already had a Milwaukee 3/8in close quater drill that workes very well. I got this because I wanted it, not needed it. It seems a step up in quality from the Milwaukee, and was 25 bucks more. Worth it. If I had to do it all over again, I would only have the Bosch.

Bosch Review a must have for close quarter drilling
Bought bosch to replace dewalt dw-160 that I got on clearance when hechinger went out. Oddly enough bosch was bought when woodworker's world went out of business. The Dewalt was horrible, it had single speed(1200rpm) and no reverse!!!!! I love that the bosch has reverse and a variable speed dial. The speed dial makes it easier to drive screws. I am not to fond of the paddle switch, but I give it 5 stars anyway because I like the slower speed(1100rpm) and speed dial.

Bosch Review Outstanding product.
Needed to do some sanding to get rid of a sloppy wallpaper job from the previous owner of my home. In desperation I got my Bosch detail sander on it and found it worked great but I needed something larger. Off to our local home improvement store where I did in fact "save big money".
Looking on the shelf this and the smaller Bosch unit were the ONLY 2 I could find not made in China. Even the well known "American" names were made in China or wouldn't even claim where they were made. VERY disappointing.
Having been very satisfied with my other Bosch sander I bought this. The first thing I noticed is how smooth and quiet it is. Next the POWER. If I wasn't careful I could have gone right through the wall ;)
My only complaint is it's somewhat heavy and bulky (but then I bought it for the quality).
Bottom line this is an outstanding product and won't disappoint. Perhaps I'll never use it beyond this one project or I'll never use it for what most do but I am impressed!

Bosch Review Great sander with few flaws.
This sander greatly exceeded my expectations on smoothness, aggressiveness, and durability. I am a seasoned woodworker who invested in this product a a PC R/O palm sander for two different applications (the PC is also very smooth, I'm very impressed with it also). I bought the PC for furniture making and finishing, the BOSCH for more general purpose work. For three monthes I used this sander 24-7 to remove many, many layers of old (70yr) house paint. Using 60-grit H&L paper, it made quick work of the stripping task. It was extremely durable (Others and I inadvertantly dropped it at a max height of about five feet). The only problem I had with this tool was that the H&L pad wore-out fairly quickly.

Bosch Review Great dustless performance
I own almost every type of sander, due to the fact that we live on our 50' motor yacht, with lots of varnished surfaces inside and out. I started working on the interior ladders (stairs to you land types) and was very concerned with the sanding dust generated by machine sanding. In addition to the other features I am most pleased with the dust removal system of my Bosch 3107dvs. AL Nalven Longboat Key, FL

Bosch Review A "Rolls-Royce" in the drill field.
With such an excellent product, my title describes this drill.
It's easily the best, with the added bonus of a spare battery, it's light, perfect for those single handed over-the-head jobs about the house. has a well designed handle grip, a reverse that does the job, no fiddling with a chuck key, quiet motor, a sturdy carrying box, and a holder for that screw bit drill.
Highly recommended.

Bosch Review Great drill
I bought this drill to replace my 12v hitachi and it has impressed me in every way. i love the weight and i bought extra batteries for it so i have enough to go all day with out any problems. get the blue core ones if you can they are cheap enough at the 9.6 level that it makes more sence to have more batteries and a lighter tool. great work bosch. lets see some more Lithium-Ion tools in your future.

Bosch Review Far better than the cheap 12v units!
Cordless tool seem to have been hit with "voltage inflation" over the last decade. Ten years ago, a 9.6 Makita was the choice of the average builder looking for a lightweight drill for use on a ladder or in a tight space. Then came 12V drills, 14.4 volt drills, 18v drills, and even 24 volt drills. You could buy a 12 or 14.4 volt drill for as low as $49.95. Problem is that most of these cheap higher-voltage drills are garbage. But the uninformed consumer sees 14v, and think, hey, this must be better than 9.6 volts.

One of the great advantages of cordless tools is the freedom from dragging a power cord behind you. But too often neglected is the other great advantage- having a small, lightweight tool, and that's where drills like this 9.6 volt unit shine. Yet it's no lightweight when it come to performance. It delivers more torque and battery life than the typical budget 12 or 14 volt unit, and is more than adequate for just about any homeowner need. It might not be your first choice for driving 6" screws through landscaping timbers, but how many cordless drills can honestly do that?

Bosch Review Works great
I bought this drill for a planned home improvement project after being disappointed with 2 prior cordless drills I had bought over the years.
These other drills suffered from short battery life and poor grip with the chuck mechanism.
Before buying this time, I went to Consumer Reports, who gave this item high marks all around.
I'm completely satisfified with it.

Bosch Review Well made compact drill
I was looking for a small but still powerful cordless drill. This little dynamo filled the bill. Its light weight but does a great job for its size. The batteries are long lasting and recharge quickly. It received a best buy rating from Consumer Reports and so far it is living up to its rating.

Bosch Review Super Drill
Okay, I'm a little late to the cordless tool thing, this being my first cordless. The Bosch 3214-2G is everything it claims to be. So far, so good. Lots of power and lots of torque. I particulary like that it is NOT made in China. Having read lots of reviews on different 14.4 cordless drills, I settled on the Bosch. I would recommend the drill, shoot it handled a 4" hole saw w/o trouble.

Bosch Review Finally retired the Bosch 1 578 1 Jigsaw
I've retired my 25 year old Bosch 1 578 1 jigsaw. This saw has given me excellent service for 25 years, it's only short comings are you need a special srewdriver to change the blade, it doesn't have a cut blower and you have to plug it in. The 52318 addresses all of these. It's a great saw goes anywhere and for me doing pickup work in unfinished house where sometimes the power isn't in that's important. The only thing I didn't like is the funny little wire guard right in front of the blade blocks my veiw of the cut, but a srewdriver popped it right out so everything is fine. Don't know if it will last 25 years but we'll see.

Bosch Review first long run cordless
Out of all the cordless tools I own this one does the most on a battery. I own the bosch corded jig and have not used it once
since having this one.

The tool is made tough, the grip and balance is almost perfect.
The blade change system is phenominal. If you break a blade just pull the lever and the hot broken blade spits right out on its own!! The put a new blade in just push it in!!!

The 18v jig cuts anything with the right blade and really you can use it most of the day before the battery dies out.

I would NOT recomend replacing your circular saw with it the battery is not that, good but for jig saw work it is the best
and will impress the hardcore professional.

I must correct a previous reviewer however, the battery is not NMH(nickel metal hydride) it is NCAD, which is the standard battery used by all tool companies. He is growsly mistaken and readers should always double check reviewers statements I find
many mis- informations written by novice tool users on the Amazon tool rewiews.

What is cool is that when bosch puts out a battery upgrade it will work on this tool, I just dont know why you would need it.

Top of the line tool. Bosch is releasing a new corded Jig saw
that is just like this one and I will not evan consider it,
because once you have this you have no need for the cord!!!!!!!

Bosch Review Bosch--Best on the Market
This is a first class, quality tool, if I could give it more stars I would.

Bosch Review Splinter free cutting.
I bought these blades to cut do some scrollwork in some marine grade plywood and there was almost zero tearout. Very smooth cuts. The best blades I've ever used.

Bosch Review value product
I think this is a great blade for the money. They are sharp and last long - I usually wind up breaking them before they dull.

Bosch Review Simply the best
I have a couple of jigsaws (including a Bosch barrel grip) and these blades are the best I have used. I prefer the Bosch blade style anyway, and this particular Bosch blade in particular. I have used this blade on many different woods and plywoods and I find the performance to be excellent in every material. The cuts are usually splinter free and the thin blade design allows for accurate curve cutting and scrollsaw-like precision. Though the blade is thin, it is surprisingly sturdy (they don't break too easily).

I highly recommend these blades to all finish carpenters and woodworkers. They are top notch and this is a very good price!

Bosch Review The Swiss Make Great Knives, and Jig Saw Blades
On the side of these blades is imprinted "Bosch" and "Swiss Made" (for Bosch) These blades are scary sharp. The instructions tell you to wear gloves when installing them. My ego told me different, so I skipped the gloves. One of the blades touched, or should I say just glanced lightly against my finger, and my skin immediately created a fine shred. Oops. Now I wear gloves. These things are definitely sharp. I don't have another blade in any category that are as sharp as these. Exercise caution when using them. Of course this makes for a great jig saw blade. They effortlessly go through material. With three different levels of coarseness, you can meet any task. The 30 pack has ten of each, coarse, medium and fine.
With a 4x8 leftover edge of a piece of plywood as my guide, I used the jig saw to cut an edge on a piece of MDF. It was so smooth and even, that I only touched it lightly with a sanding block and 120 grit to produce a factory edge. That is saying something for a jig saw.
I am using these on a Bosch jig saw, that I can not say enough about. These blades work well, I understand, on any jig saw that takes the T-blade style.
You can't beat the price. Everything is cheaper by the dozen. The 30 pack enables you to buy a blade that is way sharper and resilient than any other jig saw blade I have ever used, and at a price that can't be beat as well.
I bought the Bosch metal cutting blades for the jig saw as well. Jig saw blades are something that needs to be renewed due to the unusual material and positions we put them through, so you might as well buy a pack and save the money. Just be sure and wear some gloves when changing them, or concentrate on only touching the back edge.

Bosch Review Great Value
10 each of fine, medium and rough cuts. All great quality and only a buck each! You can't go wrong.

Bosch Review Talk about BANG for your buck!
I purchased these when I bought my Milwaukee sabre saw..they're terrific! When you think that it's a buck a blade there is no way that you can go wrong! I keep looking at the pack & thinking I should order more because I can't believe the price I got them at. I've cut everything from rough wood to laminates with them and can't say enough about them.

Bosch Review Mirka 23-615-AP 5" 8 Hole Dustless Hook and Loop Sandpaper
Generic name to me but works well and lasts as well as any other I have used.

This is the best paper a woodworker can purchase. I've tried other hook and loop for my DeWalt orbital and have found none better as far as finished work. This papers life expectancy is greater than the competators paper also. Enough said just use it

Bosch Review Charles D. Wallin
We have used the Mirka PSA papers purchased from our former supplier, now ourt of business. We have been looking for a source to purchase a paper with a good sanding life that does not fill. We use it on raw wood or finished. We are also, at times, required to use Mirka to sand strip furniture and when we do, we experience three to four time the life of other highily recommended papers. Mirka is tough, dependable, and leaves a good surface for finishing. We are PLEASED to find another source for this quality sanding paper. Our experience speaks to us Mirka if your looking for a quality result!!!!!!!

Bosch Review Bosch 1617 delivers as promised!
I have never owned or used a router before and chose the Bosch 1617 after reading a review of routers in Fine Woodworking at the library. The two advantages the reviewer cited were 1) no change in depth of cut as had happened with a Sears Craftsman router he reviewed (Craftsman had been my other choice, because of price) and 2) quick removal from the base for easy bit change. So far, all I've done is table routing, and this quick-release has been a godsend. No scraped knuckles, no dropped pieces. I don't regret a penny of my purchase.

I got mine at my local Sears store for less than Home Depot, which was a real surprise. It pays to shop around.

The only negative comment I have is that no one seems to stock the edge guide, which is also very pricey where it is offered for sale at all.

Bosch Review Great Router
I have a Freud FT2000, and the little DeWalt plunge router. I was in the market for a fixed base for both hand and table use. This one fits the bill perfectly. I've been woodworking for over 10 years, (5 of those professionally) so I know what I am talking about. Oh yeah. I was tempted by the Dewalt fixed-base, but this one had some nice features that I could not pass up for $30 more. One small observation. There are small raised bosses around the base plate screws on the base casting which causes excess dust to get trapped between the two. Filing them down, or lapping the base may fix the problem, but at risk of ruining the perpendicular alignment with the motor. It is not that big of a problem, especially if you clean that space out. Something you should do regularly anyway.

Bosch Review Great Router
I absolutely love this router. I bought it a few months ago and have used it nearly every day since. The original one that I received had a faulty switch, but Tool Crib had a new one at my door in two days. So far I haven't had a problem with this one. This router is extremely accurate. The slow start motor keeps it from jumping out of your hands and it does not have lots of "extras" which are usually made of plastic and just end up breaking. They now offer it with an additional plunge base which would have been great to have since the base mine came with is mounted to a table and takes a while to take off...If you want a basic, sturdy router I would highly recommend this one.
