Bosch Review Work Pony
Well its to small to be a horse ;O). Let me get to the point i use this thing alot i bought it as a recon. i just finished installing slatwall in a 3000 sq ft retail space. the tool was great. being a 9.6 it really pays off in weight, yeah the batteries could last longer but it is really light and that pays off much more. the batteries do go dead, but no more then a 12v drill thats what this replaced for me. I have 4 batteries and a 15 min charger so i usually always have one ready to go.

i will upgrade when they come out with a newer model since they just started coming out with some Lithium-Ion tools. i love all my bosch tools - my truck is filled with blue/red boxes. No yellow/Black here!

Bosch Review This is a great tool
I am so happy I bought this tool. I use it mostly in my workshop to built wood project. I got all the control I need to screw my wood project together. It is very small, handy and extremely powerful. the light is a nice feature not as much as the belt hook.

Bosch Review Cool box
Seems silly to write a review on a box, but this is such a cool one, I have to. An afterthought purchase to make the amount of the order go over [price], it turned out to be the next best thing to the router that it fits, plus it holds about a gazillion router bits and all the odds and ends for the machine. Buy it -- it's worth every penny and more.

Bosch Review deluxe router case
I was very happy with everything about my new Bosch 1617EVS router except the fact that it didn't come with a case. (My workshop doubles as my garage, so everything has to get put away every so often, so my wife can park her car in the "garage.") Originally, I wasn't happy about having to pay extra for this case, but when the item arrived, I got over the initial sticker shock.

The case is very solidly built and wide enough that it won't tip over if you hit it with something. (That's a problem with a lot of the other plastic tool cases I have.) Inside, it has space for the router as well as collet wrenches and a number of 1/2" and 1/4" bits.

Interestingly, the case holds the router upside down -- but since that's how my routers spend most of their time when they're not in the cases, I guess they're used to it.

If you have a 1617 or 1618 router and need to transport it or just want to keep it out of harm's way, you can't do better than this attractive, sturdy, and functional case.

Bosch Review Best drill out there
Made in switzerland and it shows. You can feel the quality from the moment you pick it up. Bosch really blows everybody away. I noticed even Porter Cables 9.6 is now made in Taiwan. If you want quality that you know is going to last, Buy Bosch. If you want a name slapped on something from asia, Buy a Ridgidobi or a Porter Decker.

Bosch Review Great...Just Great!
Bought this drill a couple of months ago and like the AMEX card I would not leave home without it! I thought the world of my previous cordless drill (Milwaukee 12v) but the battery packs wear out after a few seasons of use and they are getting harder to find (as well as getting expensive). I've got one good pack left for the Milwaukee and am babying it, but I use the Bosch for nearly every drilling job I do now. I give it a solid recommendation to anyone that wants a workhorse 3/8" drill.

Bosch Review Great Tool
This tool is extends reliability and torque when needed. This is definitely my tool of choice when it comes to light and heavy jobs alike. The only thing I would change would be to add NIMH batteries.

Bosch Review Great Drill
I've owned a Makita which is a good product and Porter Cable which is also a good product, but this Bosch is by far more solid than the others. It feels reliable and has the right balance. PLenty of torque and speed for all jobs. Would be nice to have more torque settings and NMIH batteries but it's still my drill of choice.

Bosch Review Great Saw - Just Grab And Go
I bought this saw about nine months ago just for kicks since I already had the 24 volt drill, circular saw, and recip saw. I was more than impressed when I got it. It's lightweight and easy to carry, powerful, accurate, and has a good runtime (I quit counting at 75 2x4's ). I use mine for trimming and it is ideal for this. The saw overall is a good value with 2 batteries and a one hour charger. It won't replace a corded miter saw, but it comes pretty close.

Bosch Review Cordless Compound Miter Saw
I consider myself to be an advanced do it your selfer to let you know where I'm coming from. I've always wanted a compound miter saw, and have been putting it off for one reason or another. Recently I purchased a Bosch 24 volt drill/circular saw combo kit, and noticed this miter saw kit. One of the things I liked was that the batteries were interchangeable. It comes with two, plus the two from my kit, this would enable me to have an infinite supply of power. I checked the fence, and table for square, and they were good to go right out of the box, I was in shock. By looking at the manual, if you had to make an adjustment it didn't look that difficult. If anyone has ever set up a table saw, or radial arm saw you can appreciate this. I charged the batteries and immediately put it to work cutting 2" X 6" rafters for a 12' X 18' shed that I'm working on. Please note that you can't cut more than a 15 degree miter on a 2" X 6". I have to tell you that this saw has power. The fact that it is cordless is a non event. Actually it is an event, I was re-trimming out our bedroom. Since I was cordless I didn't interrupt my homes electrical system, and I didn't have to hear my wife complain about me messing up the TV. The trigger, and safety are comfortable to use. The dust collection system works good enough. The settings are accurate, and easy to read. The safety shield doesn't obstruct your view, and works smooth. The motor brake will stop on a dime, and give you nine cents change. I really like this saw, I feel it will meet or exceed all of your expectations.

Bosch Review ALL PRO TOOLS - beats pricing on Bosch
While waiting for a special sale on Bosch Tools in Tool Crib, I was re-directed to All pro-Tools. It appears that they are beating your price of $399.99 down to 349.21.

Also, I bought the Plung Router for $229., they have it for 219. same same.

What can you do about this.

Bosch Review NO boundarys ,NO equal,BRUTE TOUGH.
I got this kit about a week ago.I am satisfied. The drill has 475 foot pounds of torque(the most in its class),2 speeds,15 clutch setings,A 1/2"racheting chuck, uni body powertrain, steel reinforced collar,dura-shield exterior housing and, plenty of POWER.It will take a 1/2"masonry bit through 21/2"of concrete in less than 2 minutes.I can put a 3"holesaw on and drill through a 1"piece of red oak in a snap.If you push to hard it will stall, but eventually you'll learn how much pressure you can put on it.It handles wood and metal with no problem. The saw has plenty of torque and power. It cuts 2x4's 4x4's in just seconds. It will even cut dense hard maple with out stopping.I chose this kit over others because it ofered more features ,and so I wouldn't have to buy an electric drill and saw as well.I would recommend Bosch over the others any day. From what my experience and other reviews have told me ,Bosch lives up to their name.

Bosch Review Much better
What review Feeser said. All true. Hope it is available again for those that don't have one. Just a whole lot better under a router table, not really necessary if you use your router freehand only.

Bosch Review Expands your adjustment horizons
This knob is as much an extension of your existing adjusting knob as it is an increase in the overall size of the turning head. It snaps into your existing knob. Simply put, it makes it easier to make depth adjustments. First of all it is easier to find when under the table, and secondly it makes adjusting a little easier with such a large knob.
Not much else to say other than that. Highly recommended for your Bosch 1617 or 1618 series router.

Bosch Review SUPERIOR SPADE BITS
These are the best spade bits I have ever owned -- and I have used a lot of them.

They are not true "self-feed" bits in the same sense that auger bits are, but they are still effective.

Highly recommended.

Bosch Review Very helpful bits
These bits are very impressive, they will drill through wood basically on their own-but expect a bit of a blowout on the other side of the board. I am not a wood worker so concerns on cosmetics are not too common. As an electrician these spades cut faster, self feed easier and finsh better than any other I have tried. Of course you get what you pay for and these are worth every penny to me. If I may also add-they cannot take much contact with plaster or stone resulting in a very quick dull, you literally do not have to push on these bits resulting frankly in less injuries down the road!

Bosch Review Good tool for good price
Although I wasn't looking for a reconditioned tool, I have no complaints with this purchase. It looks like new and comes with a manual and case. It performs well and I didn't even have to adjust the tracking on the belt that comes with it. I'm refinishing my kitchen cabinets and this tool is very helpful in sanding the narrow places.

Bosch Review A absolutely Great detail sander
I bought mine from a tool service center to sand on hardwood floors on an outside porch on edges and corners and between the numerous upright posts, which it does with no problem, making it look and really be "Quick and easy". The tight radius of the tip gets"hard it get to"jobs done easily with a speed you can set easily with the dial.At slower speeds it smooths like a dream and quiets down too, although it whines at the higher speeds so ear and dust protection is needed. Also care is required when holding that fingers don't move onto the belt and it's pinch points. All in all I've found it an excellent tool for many jobs, auto and home, far beyond for what I purchased it.

Bosch Review more battery life please
This impact driver does everything my 12v Makita did at a fraction of the cost. It feels nice and substantial, not cheap by anymeans. you would think for the money that it would. My only gripe is the battery life. It is aweful!! The 2.6ah NiMh in the Makita would run forever, this one goes limp embarassingly fast on the jobsite. 2.0ah NiCd is sad. Other than that it is highly recommended. Nothing at Home Depot can touch this in the $129 range.

Bosch Review better than the rest...
i've worked with the 18v dewalt and a 14.4 makita and this 12v bosch is more powerful that both, the makita's battery outlasted the bosch but the bosch is more compareable to the 18v dewalts battery life, belt clip and led light are good ideas too. would buy it again in a heartbeat, maybe the 14.4 next time...

Bosch Review great product
This driver is amazing. I am a contractor in Delaware and have used many types of drills and drivers. I have been using a 18v bosch drill for about 2 years and love it. I bought the bosch b/c I use almost all bosch tools now and am very pleased with both their performance and with the customer service. With this drill driving lag bolts and heavy fasteners has always been a chore. The torque on the 18v drill requires you to really have a good grip on the tool when driving lags. With this 12v driver you can drive lags alll day one-handed. Almost none of the torque is transferred to your wrist and it drives 1/4 by 3in lags into 2by4 in 2sec with no effort on my part. The only downside to this is the level of noise (hammer mechinism is loud by its nature), but if you are working for a prolonged period on a job site you should have some type of hearing protection anyway. This tool is the best thing to hit the market since the cordless drill.
