After I bought my DeWalt 24-volt 6-1/2" circular saw I decided I also needed a AC power source. So I bought the DeWalt DW0247 24 Volt AC/DC Converter. I didn't make a wrong choice with this. The converter supplies the same power as the 24-volt battery but keeps on going. It has a built in fan to keep it cool. I liked how it was the same size as the battery but weighed a lot less. So if you have the saw you have to have the converter.

I bought the DW050K-2 last year and I could not work with out it. It has more torque than you would think it would. It will shear grade 2 bolts up to 3/8 into! The 1/4" quick coupling is the greatest. You can use all the standard 1/4" bits and you can change bits so fast it is a blur. The small size makes it so easy to get into tight places. I work in a small engine repair shop so all my tool get workout and a half every day. If my DW050K-2 stopped working I would have to go home that is way I am getting a second one.

Handy to have. In a garage door company, we all use this tool on a daily basis. Takes a beating and keeps on ticken!

I've only used this tool a few times and it has out performed my expectations each time. Working as a marine technician you see a lot of rusty engine mounts, each time I've used it this tool had no problem. Its also well balanced and compact, certinly not a the biggest amount of torque but enough for alot of smaller jobs.

Another good buy that I just happened to pass at the local Home Depot. How many drill bits have you wasted, shreaded, or smoked because they weren't held firmly in place? You won't with these and the rubber that's used... they just don't slide around. A strong & manly drill bit - titanium is the material of choice! Nice assortment of drill bit sizes here (13 pieces in all). Nice small case with DeWalt's name on it to keep everything in order, and easy to pick out on your cluttered garage shelf.

I have a 1917 house with rock hard oak floor joist. This bit goes through them like a regular spade type bit goes through pine/spruce. Its great! Any new bits I buy are going to be this type. Haven't needed to sharpen mine yet but looks pretty straight forward, nothing fancy about sharpening due to the design.

I only used it about 10 times. But nothing else would do. I used it to cut holes in the back of bookcases to place stereo equipment on and for lighting cords. Now it is sitting and waiting. 6 moths as only dust. No rust.

For anyone who uses spade bits regularly, like me, the bits are a godsend. The thick shafts do not bend, ever, the thick and angled cutting edges do no bend or break off when they encounter metal in whatever wood you happen to be drilling into (flooring nails in hardwood anyone?). My only complaint is limited sizes. A nice set from 3/8 to 1 inch in sixteenths would be nice.

I install Central Vacuums, and use this bit everyday. I was impressed from the day I got it. The two cutting heads make a HUGE difference. No kickback, stays sharper longer, the list of positives goes on and on. I also own a Milwaukee 2 1/4 self feed, and there is nothing to compare!
