Used it to install a sliding shower/tub door. DON'T use it to drill the holes in the door rails. It's not meant for that (yeah, I found out the hard way after I noticed the holes weren't circular)-:
Works great drilling through ceramic tile and durock though. Very smooth cut...went through like butter.

Dewalt's new rapid load system is again one of the best. Being in construction we are constantly looking for tools that will lighten up our tool bags. All of the bits fit tightly and perform great. The ability to turn it into a handsaw was just reason enough to buy it. At first it takes some time to work the rachet properly but it is no big problem. A tool good enough for the pro's or DIY'S.

This is the best impact wrench that you can buy for your money. It provides 300 ft/lbs of tourque, and is more than enough for your average applications. I think Dewalt produced an excellent tool by making the dw296. Most stores that I checked did not carry it... The ergonomical grip fits perfect in your hand and has the right balance to it. It is very comfortable in use. I highly reccomend buying one of these!

Very convenient and powerful. It will actually pull 3/4" wedge anchors out of the concrete if you let it. 360deg handle is easy to move out of the way or pull off to get into tight spaces. Worth the money!

I don't have a lot of use for this type of saw, but on some occasions no other tool will do the job. I therefore bought the DeWalt - which was the least expensive I could find - and I'm quite happy with it. I'm usually near an outlet so I decided I didn't need the battery-operated versions. I've used it to cut 4" cast-iron pipe without feeling I needed any more power. In fact it's giving me a good shaking a couple of times when the blade got stuck. The foot looks sturdier than that on the Milwaukees. One recommendation I can make for those who haven't used one of these saws before is to use the shortest blade that will do the job. A blade that's too long can be easily crumpled up if it catches.

What was even better than the blade was how Amazon.com took care of the problems I had with the delivery. The Blade had a tooth broken in shipping and Amazon.com replaced it within a couple of days at no cost and sent me a return label to send the original blade back. There was less of a hassel than if I had purchased it at a local store. For some time now I have used Tool Cribe of the North through Amazon.com to buy all my tolls and will continue to do so.

I got this saw to replace a old Sears one and I forgot how good it was to use a good saw. I seem to be finding more uses for a Jig saw now. You can spend more but for the money this is one good saw.

This is a great set of blades. Minimal chipout, they stay sharp, and do not need cleaning. I own and have owned several Freud blades including the Super Dado and none of them cut as well as these DeWalt blades. You can make a marginal saw perform like an expensive saw with good blades and these rank among the best I have tried.

This blade, on a DeWalt Miter Saw, cleanly cuts pre-finished red oak trim without any tearout. Also cuts melamine without chipping surface.

Not really a lightweight, and that's good- helps make the saw stable both in guided cuts, and visually following a line. Motor makes moderately soft starts, again enabling control.

Moderate noise level, and plenty of power, make the cuts quick and less fatiguing.

The electric brake is a must-have for safety, IMHO.

Sure would be nice if DeWalt would clarify difference between different saw models, though.
