big and loud
DeWalt cord/cordless wet/dry vacuumIt is a powerful, portable, convenient vacuum.
For quick cleanups of small jobs (drilling holes for hanging pictures, etc.) or vacuuming the interior of your vehicle, this vacuum is excellent.
Super handy and versatileThe item is more powerful and quieter than expected. I get about 20-25 minutes on an 18 volt XRP battery, but almost all vacuum jobs are much less than that. I love that it has the corded option if needed. The vacuum hose expands and contracts nicely. It also converts to a blower in seconds which has come in handy a couple of times already.
Be aware that the battery and charger are not included so the cordless option is really only practical if you already own compatible Dewalt cordless tools. Also, it does not come with many hose accesories, but I have several 1 1/4" add-ons from my broken hand vac that work great.
My refurb unit appeared brand new so don't be afraid to buy one and save a few bucks.

Great drill and cheap
The standard for drill drivers is DewaltThe mid-handle and ergonomics are the best. The charger is smart and only charges when needed, goes from flat to charged in 1 hour. Clutch has plenty of adjustment. The original screw tips that come with it and snap on the sides are still not chewed up and look perfect, some 6+ years later after tons of use. AFter TONS of use, the batteries are wearing out and I eventually destroyed highgear on it, but I'm buying another since Amazon has them so cheap. I'll keep my other one for parts just in case.
I have seen makita tools and used them, and although they do make some good products, in this catagory I personally cannot see them lasting 1/2 as long as Dewalt. I know a guy who's brother drives a truck for Dewalt and he's been to construction sites where guys come and give him a Makita - they say something like "take this piece of junk!" and buy a Dewalt. And you're SUPPORTING USA.

Great deal I guess... but I'm not so happy with the bladesI've had trouble with a few things, the first is that when cutting a bevel (saw tilted), I see quite a bit of deflection in the blade on anything but the smallest of stock. Cutting 3/4 pine caused this blade to deflect, thus bind, thus burn, and leaves me with an uneven cut. I'm confident that it's not my saw (Delta TwinLaser - 15 amp motor) because other blades work well.
The other thing I don't love is that it takes forever to wear the yellow paint off the blades with cuts - and so every cut has a hint of yellow for quite a long time. Not a big deal, but kind of unecessary.
To round it out, I'm just not that happy with the cut even when it's straight down. I get chipping or tear-out on almost any kind of lumber that I've tried... red oak, pine, poplar, etc. It doesn't matter how fast or slow I make the cut. While that's a pain, I will say that the center of the cut is very smooth.
The rough cut blade does do a fine job for cutting framing lumber straight up and down - very fast. I have not needed to use that for a bevel cut, but I would guess it has the same problem.
So, if you do rough cut work and don't have a need to make bevel cuts, these are probably a great deal. If your needs are more, then I would say spend your money on some better blades.

A blade for burningI have now used this blade on 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch birch plywood, as well as on 1/2 and 3/4 inch MDF. The verdict: this blade cuts great for a few seconds. Then the glues in the sheets burn. The sheet starts to smoke and the blade teeth get encrusted with burnt glue, causing the burning to get even worse. The thicker the sheet goods, the worse the problem. I was able to cut 3/8" plywood for a little while, but I only got through about 12 inches of 3/4" MDF before the smoke started. Believe it or not, I had better luck in MDF with a cheap framing blade! My stock was well supported and the depth of cut was fine.
The blade cleaned up ok with oven cleaner, but even with a freshly cleaned blade I was unable to get a good cut. Thin kerf blades like this are risky in thicker stock, I think.
This blade is really inexpensive and there's a reason. I've ordered a much pricier Freud blade and expect to have better luck.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: I received my Freud TKR303 and it is outstanding. I strongly recommend you spend the extra money to get that blade if you're cutting sheet goods.

GOOD ALL AROUND SAW
Good saw, Good price.I am always pleased when a manufacturer provides a quality case for a good tool, and DeWalt has even included a top shelf blade withthis saw. No need to buy a blade to replace the often mediocre ones provided with new saws.
Great job by DeWalt.

Power Power PowerWell this is everything I thought it would be and more, The only draw back is that this baby has some weight to it, My wife helps out alot and she complained the firest time she picked it up so if your not a strong arm person , this is not the saw for you.
keep in mind the 8 1/4 blades are not cheap when they can be found , but you can use the 7 1/4 if the size is not in demand.
DeWalt 8-1/4 Power Saw

This is a very good routerAfter using it in my router table I can say that all three of those features are absolutely top notch. I really like the depth adjustment ring - this makes changing bit height in my router table VERY easy and precise (no more spinning the motor housing). The easy motor removal is a plus too - all you do is release the motor lock (one handed I might add) and then squeeze the quick release tabs on each side of the motor housing to cause the motor to slide right out of the base. Thats it - it could not be simpler.
As for power, I have not tried to spin any huge bits in this thing, but I have used some serious ogee bits in white oak, poplar, and pine. In every case, the motor handled the cuts in one pass without bogging down at all and the cuts were super smooth and burn free (I use Freud bits). In my experience, the electronic variable speed works very well.
The only drawback of this tool (and the reason I am not rating it 5 stars) is that I find the bit changing to be cumbersome. I have an older Ryobi router with a fantastic spindle lock that allows you to "lock" the spindle and then use both hands for the bit change. On this DeWalt, there is a spindle lock, but it consists of a spring loaded button that must be held in WHILE you are turning the wrench with the other hand. I feel this could have been designed better.
Overall, this is a great tool at a fair price. If I could do it all over again I would buy this same router.
