This combo is an excellent deal. I did tons of research and found that this was the best combo for my budget and requirements. I didn't want the four-piece, not the one with the trombone, trumpet, bass, and drummer, kit because if I am doing demo I will probably want a corded reciprocating saw for the added power and the light looks great but I am not willing to pay the premium for it.

The circular saw is definitely not a wormdrive saw but its cordless, easy to adjust, and makes smooth cuts through 2x.

The drill is bomber but the gear change mechanism is shaky due to a loose "clutch" - not the smoothest changes sometimes requiring an advancement of the drill to make the "shift". I don't know if this will affect the lifespan of the drill but my gut says it won't. And like Bush I always go with my gut, it's a nerve-ending thing.

All in all the tools will run as long as the batteries are charged. Fact: Current battery technology limits battery life. If you understand the tools you are purchasing and what you will be using them for you won't be disappointed with this kit.

Great tools... the best and most powerful cordless tools I have used. After using the Amazon Credit card and getting the reduction in price, the cost was the best I have been able to find. Was shipped in good order and time and was exactly what I was looking for.

I purchased this laser level ... to assist with the surveying on a long cement driveway project. The driveway was 120' feet long and was much longer than traditional water level & line level techniques would remain accurate. The dw072kd arrived ... in great condition. It was relatively simple to set up, even for one person. Some have complained that this unit is not an autoleveler, but I specifically chose it for that property. In about 15 minutes, I was able to position the beam so that it struck the top of the curb cut at one end, and the top of the garage slab 120' away. Then, the beam illuminated the correct position of the top of the forms all the way along, removing any need for a grade rod or correction measurements. I've also set it up in a true-level position to layout an 80' section of fence, and position a drop ceiling. One the fence, I double-checked level with a water-tube-level, and found the laser well within the promised 1/4 inch in 100' (it was spot-on perfect). One caution, if you're working outside, you will definitely need to purchase the ... laser detector, as the beam isn't visible for more than 10' in sunlight, although in the shade, it's readily located 40' away. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase. For most do-it-yourselfers this will be a good investment. Battery life seems good, this one's been going about 20+ hours on the first set of D-cells i put in it.

This product is fast to set up and easy to use, I think it took about 5 minutes to get started. I only wish it came with a tripod and a grade stick but these can be picked up very easy from amazon or major home improvement stores etc.

I'm a builder in Southern Oregon. These things work well for driving long screws with one hand, and they can significantly speed up tasks like screwing down decking. They don't last forever: durability is not their strong suit. But worth it anyhow, I'm replacing my old one.

There is not much to the product to review. The construction is sturdy, and it does the job well! A must have for any toolbox.

This is a good package for the money.The 12'' blade is well balanced very sharp and cut's almost finish clean.I do suggest using a cutting lube like (dri-cote) it will keep your blades sharper longer but, dont over do it.The 71/4''blade is aggressive and will cut very quick but not so clean.I wont buy another 16T when this one dies.I think a 24T is a safe bet on anything your cutting. From framing to fencing and anything in between.I do recommend the 80T but not so much the 16T(stick with a 24T). Now get out there and make some dust.

This saw blade I have used is the best one on the market. I don't even nave to sand my mitered corners when I use this blade. This is the best blade for your money.

This is a good saw but it's much cheaper at home depot.

My first dewalt circular saw.......worked well like the other Dewalt products.

Blade is a little hard to change.

Price was about [amt.] at Home Depot.

I bought one from the lumber yard so I never used the one from amazon

FYI, just found out that the Dewalt 421 can use the Makita replacement pad (Makita 743051-7 5" Rubber Pad). The opposite isn't true-- Makita has a bearing that prevents the use of the Dewalt pad. Handy news if this product is out of stock.

I was comparing various rotary hammers and I feel this one has some very strong points, but it could use a few more assessories and a little more power to use them such as digging clay, dirt or other earth work as compared to a comparable Makita model, with other models falling short in comparison. Other then that, even with Dewalt costing a little more, I have found a favorite spot in my toolcrib for any Dewalt product I have put to hard use and the 532 has a good chance to find its way to my buy list.

I HAVE OWNED AND STILL OWN A DW530K FOR 5 YEARS AND PUT IT THROUGH HELL. SON OF A GUN STILL GOING STRONG! SO, WE ADDED ANOTHER TO OUR CREW AND WE BOUGHT THE DW532K SAME GREAT SERVICE WE'VE HAD IT FOR TWO YEARS. NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. BEFORE THE DEWALTS WE HAVE STILL(ON A SHELF)TWO BOSCH ROTO-HAMMERS AND TWO BOSCH 90# J-HAMMERS. EVERY YEAR GETTING THEM REBUILT.FOR 6 YEARS. FINALLY DUH, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOOK US SO LONG, BUT BROKE OUT OF THE REDO-HABIT AND BOUGHT NEW. WE ARE GRACED,AND WILL CONTINUE TO BUY DEWALT HAMMERS, IF WE EVER GET FINISHED WITH THESE. I DOUBT IT! (WE DO CONCRETE BUSTOUT ALLDAY)

The saw blade makes nice smooth cuts in both ripping and crosscuts. Little sanding is required. I highly recommend the saw blade.

The 50T combo with 4 ATB and 1 raker tooth is a very common tooth configuration for a 50T general purpose blade. Freud, Leitz, Oldham, CMT, Systimatic and many other top manufacturers offer a similar configuration. This one holds it's own for about half the cost. It's versatile and cuts cleanly on many types of materials on both crosscuts and rip cuts, and leaves a flat bottom kerf because of the raker tooth. The DW7150 also offers a teflon coating for easy cleaning and reduced heat build up. It uses large C3 teeth for long life and should withstand many sharpenings. A perfect all around blade at a great price for the average DIYer and serious hobbyist alike.

DeWalt is not kidding about it not being compatable with any but the newest of their chop saws. I thought I might be able to adapt it to my DW708 - no way. Otherwise, if you have a new saw, it would probably work great.

The thing works really good but the adj screws are a little bit on the loose side. After using for a couple of weeks it had to be readjusted. Don't know if screws moved or just what happened.
but I still give it 5 stars because used a delta and I was not quite as happy with it as I am this one.

This item is very easy to install. Just make sure you plug the power switch in before trying to work it. For some stupid reason, I had it in my head that the thing worked on batteries and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Once I plugged the saw in and the lights came on, I realized what a fool I was.

Anyway, the item is easy to install and operate. There is an adjustment to make it so that you can have the laser show on the right or left side of the line you are cutting, which I thought was a good idea for those of you who are that good at measuring that a 1/16th of an inch means bad cut. If I'm within a 1/4 I'm usually pretty happy.

This is an excelent choice for the contractor or DIY that uses cordless tools all the time. If you need to get your tool powered back up fast, this one will do it on your coffee break or while using a spare battery. The only drawback: For the steep price, I would also expect to see a tune up feature included with this charger as is in the DW9116. Still, time is money and 15 min charges translate into "0" time wasted if you also have at least 1 spare battery.

This charger is great! I have several 14.4v cordless Dewalt tools-some with 5 year-old batteries. These of course have lost some of their charge capacity. It is frustrating waiting for the standard hour-long recharge when I use the batteries faster than they can be charged. The 9117 helps me stay busy-at least I have to find another excuse for slacking. The 3-stage charging aspect of rejuvenation (overnight charging) yielded a noticeable increase in power for 2 of my older batteries. Since batteries are about $54 each, increasing their life expectancy appeals to my wallet. If you have 2 or more tools going at the same time (drill, screw-gun, saw) this charger will ensure your job keeps going!
