DeWalt Review impact wrench's impact
This is a great way to illiminate the need to spend 500.00 or more on a compressor and wrench set-up. An invaluable tool for every home mechanic.

DeWalt Review An amazing tool
This is an excellant impact wrench. I have been a garage door installer for many years. I can easily spend most of the day with this tool in my hand and its performance is unmatched. Our company has put these impacts to the test. They are frequently dropped from ladders, but keep on working. When repairs are needed, they are easy to do and the parts are even easier to order (from Milwaukee). I even use it for those really tight lug nugs on trucks. The rocker switch is a must. Sometimes the pin doesn't want to let go a the socket, but with a little persuation it comes right off. Overall, excellant tool, great performance, and amazing durability. Milwaukee impacts are just the best.

DeWalt Review Leaves a Silky Finish
I have purchased every grit of Mirka sanding disks from Amazon, and I find them to be good quality. The price per disc works out to be a great value if you purchase them in packs of 50.

With the 320-grit, you get an amazing, silky finish on your wood surfaces. You can stop sanding at 220-grit, but if you take another step to 320, the wood really is beautiful to the touch! I use these discs all the time on cutting boards and table tops.

I used these disks on my Bosch random-orbit sander. The hook-and-loop backing is strong and holds on through rough sanding. The aluminum oxide sanding material lasts for a good amount of time. I have bought other brands of sanding discs that do last longer, but the Mirka discs definitely hold up well.

The discs are packaged in a sturdy box with a cover, which makes it easy to dispense them as needed. Also, having them stored in a box keeps them clean, which helps the hook-and-loop function. This actually helps out a lot in the shop. Other brands come wrapped in plastic, and you have to find a container for them, or let them sit on a shelf and get full of sawdust. I appreciate this extra touch.

The paper stock is somewhat thin, but this does not really affect their use. Since they are stored in a box, they stay flat. Other brands, which are stored in bags, get curled up on the edges.

Bottom line: these are good quality sanding discs that last for a good amount of time, are a good value for the money, and are packaged in a convenient way.

DeWalt Review Don't run out!
I like to get the boxes of sand paper so I don't run out. These match my Dewalt DW421 just like they are suppose to.

They line up easily and are easy to attach and detach later. But they stay put while in use.

It is much easier to get a smooth finish if you step your way up through the grits. Get them all and work your way up and you will get a nice smooth finish.

I don't always go to 320 grit, but many of my projects have a more natural finish (oil, shellac and wax) so those really nice the 320 grit for a super smooth finish.

DeWalt Review corded self feed screw shooter
I read a bunch of review on the quick drive screw shooter and they seemed to be either a love or hate situation I opted to go with senco as their other tools perform well. We are currently building a 8500 sf custom home in conifer colorado. The wind is something terrible and caused delays by blowing braced walls out of plumb etc. The point is, this thing rocks. It put us back on schedule in 1/2 day of use. The only downside is that it seems to cook tips on the square drive screws... I can't comment on dry wall application yet. Well worth the money for any crew size from one to five on up i would suppose.

DeWalt Review Labor Savings!
I am a general contractor and as most contractors know, labor is the biggest expence of any job. I purchased two Senco Duraspin's and the first day on a small remodel job, the screwgun's paid their own way. WOW. I wish I would have got some last year. The assembly instructions are a little unclear as to assembly, Tool adjustments are quick and easy. The screws are kind of expensive, but I think the labor savings outweigh the added cost.

DeWalt Review who goofed??????
I had hoped to get this wonderful saw at the $279 ($251 after 10% coupon) price at which it was offered today. No tax. Free shipping. Too good to be true...and it was. Sadly, after ordering, I got the "we made a mistake in the price" e-mail. Oh well, I still like Amazon. But shouldn't they give it to those that ordered it at the listed price??

DeWalt Review Yes That price got me too
I rushed to buy this dewalt saw when I saw that just above $250. Didnt read reviews or anything. Too bad it was a mistake. Was not surprised when Amazon notified me. Love Amazon tool section

DeWalt Review Best Plate Joiner for the Money
I previously owned and used one of the first reasonably priced plate joiners, made by Freud. I used the joiner for many years, until it literally wore out. A friend of mine had a Dewalt joiner which I borrowed to get a job done. I was very impressed with the ease of setting up and accuracy. So impressed, that I immediately purchased one. As a cabinetmaker, I frequently use a plate joiner and highly recommend this one. Can't complain about the price either!

DeWalt Review Works Great
Open the box - plug it in - and go to work
The instructions were easy to understand and the joiner even easier to use. I had no problems with Amazon or the order.

DeWalt Review Pretty good saw
Pretty good saw for its size. set up went quickly after I sent the first one back. Absolutely could not square the blade with table. I could square up the blade on the replacement saw, but just barely by really forcing the blade against the stops. Appears this model needs another 1/6" play in adjustment. Fence is a good one. If you replace the so/so blade that comes with it you need to shim the blace out on the arbor or it will rub. Even the one that comes with it has 0 clearence.

DeWalt Review A GOOD JOBSITE TABLE SAW
I have used this saw for three years now and have found it to be one of the best jobsite portable table saws on the market. What distinguishes this saw is its' fence. The rack and pinion adjustment makes it easy to dial in your measurement and keeps the fence perfectly parallel to the blade. As other reviewers have mentioned the miter gauge is pretty useless but I use a sliding compound miter saw for making mitered cuts so this is not a big deal for me. This is not a cabinet saw, it works fine ripping framing lumber and paint grade finish work.
My one bit of advice for anyone considering buying this saw is to not buy it online.I recieved this saw as a gift from my family and when it arrived at my house the box looked like a big yellow boulder. Every corner was smashed in and there were a few large tears in the box as well. When I unpacked the box and inspected the saw I realized that the rails that guide the telescoping fence were bent. Amazon customer service was very understanding and paid for the return postage. Amazon does nothing to prepare this saw for shipping. The box it comes in is not meant for individual shipping direct to consumers. There is no padding of any kind. This saw is meant to be shipped stacked with other saw boxes on a pallet and then shrink wrapped. This is how retailers receive shipments. I would advice everyone to not purchase large tools such as table saws, miter saws or compressors from mail order companies. You might have no problem and your items might arrive in perfect condition but there is a good chance what you receive will be damaged. Making matters worse is you will have to ship the item back and wait a long time to receive a replacement. Prices online are generally better than what you can get from local retailers but considering the hassles of dealing with problems I would rather pay a little more knowing I can get immediate satisfaction form my local tool retailer. Amazon is fine for buying small power tools that often come shipped in their own protective case but I would seriously recomend if you are buying any large heavy tools to make your purchase locally.

DeWalt Review Excellent saw for beginner or experienced user
I purchased this saw several months ago from Amazon, and I couldn't be more pleased. I gave the saw only 4 stars because it doesn't have a laser guide, which I would have preferred. However, I purchased an Erwin laser guide ($20), and it works great on the DeWalt saw. Highly recommended, since it helps with precision cuts. I also bought a Ryobi miter saw stand ($99) which also makes the saw far easier to use. I built an octagonal picnic table which required a great many regular and angle cuts with treated wood, and the saw performed flawlessly. It has no problem making a 45-degree cut across a piece of 2x6 lumber. I'm amazed at how sharp the blade is...and stays. Very highly recommended piece of equipment.

DeWalt Review DW705 with fixed laser , added from dw718
I love this little 12" saw, I outfitted it with the Dewalt laser for the DW718 that is not supose to fit any but the newest but it works great, bought the newer guard and fitted it to the old gaurd spring assembly plate and with just a flip of the switch from my little finger and laser is in sight, I built a deck yesterday for my father and it was supper bright out, very difficult to see the laser but when the stanley tape measure, it reflects the red laser and had no problems,,,just put the tape on the end I was keeping and lay it across under the saw and adjust the board to were the laser refected to the measurment, slide the tape forward out of the way and cut, keep the tape length out and set on the next board and on my way,,,,,NO pencil marks, NO T-square, SO MUCH FASTER :O)
Built my own 2x4 table for it with a couple of ply wood squares on each end and only added about 10 pounds to the weight, sets on 2 saw horses great, I can carry the table and saw by my self if i need to for sort distences and very easy for two people, If you read this ,,,Thank you :O)

DeWalt Review A great saw at a good price
Arrived without any damage, always a plus. Saw was square out the box which surprised me. I mounted it on brackets for my dewalt dw723 miter saw stand. It can cut 5 1/4" base standing upright , and 5 1/4" crown on the fence (get the crown stops, dw7054, if you cut alot of crown, they are worth their weight in gold). My only complaint was the saw came a 32 tooth blade which I changed out after about a week, the cuts were not smooth enough for fine finish work, but for general carpentry, that blade should be fine. A 60 tooth combination blade would cover just about any situation.....but that's only my opinion, and we know what opinions are like.

DeWalt Review Hard to beat at this price range
Pros: Solid build quality (in the usual B&D hard-wearing orange and black plastics). Very torquey at it's low speed setting--one of the more powerful (at ~80 in/lb) 6V drivers out there (that competes well with other higher-voltage models). The high-speed drill mode (600 rpm) won't win any drilling contests (??? :) ), but it's good enough for most light drilling chores (as long as they don't involve drilling in metal). The integrated tape measure (removable) and switchable LED illuminator are thoughtful touches.

Cons: There are a few. As mentionned many times already, the grip offered by the two bit holders is rather iffy, though if you press down on the bits hard enough they SHOULD remain in place. The quick-release chuck won't "grab" double-ended bits. For drilling chores, it can only accept hex-shank drill bits, which are somewhat hard to find in stores. The speed selector doesn't always switch over smoothly (a blip from the main trigger switch is usually enough to "unstick" it). The driver's angle setting locks in at odd places; the detents should've been at 45° and 90°. There's no status LED to tell you that the unit is charging. The charging jack is located in a very odd place (right at the hinge, where it's inaccessible unless the tool's angle is flat). Battery is non-replacable. There's no carrying case, and only one drill bit is included (but then, it's hard to justify such nit-pickings at this price).

Summary: Despite its flaws, this cordless driver offers the most bang for the buck. Definitely recommended... Just be mindful of its limitations (vs. the low price point).

DeWalt Review A great purchase
I'm not a screwdriver expert of any kind so I'm not sure how helpful this review will be but my hope is that my enthusiasm for the product will be enough to convey how highly I think of it.

I'm not one to use a screw driver much a nd am usually fine with the $.99 manual screw driver. But occasionally, I'd be assembling a product of some kind and run into a machine tightened screw that I had to kill myself to get out. So, I purchased this product and I could not be happier.

For the price, I would have been happy with just a screw driver, but the included flash light (a weak flash light but good for what it is), tape measure and drilling capability made it a great value. The adjustable pivoting handle seemed odd when I purchased it but feels very natural when you actually use it and has helped me in a few tight places.

I'm sure there are people who do professional work (like building cabinets and such) that this is not suitable for but for someone who just wants a good home screwdriver with a little power, you can't beat this.

DeWalt Review Falls Short
This Vac has a cord and runs on batterys, How much more would it cost to make it charge the battery? For me the whole idea is to carry less stuff around.

DeWalt Review Very Good Product
I bought the Dewalt DC500 two years ago and have been very happy with its performance. I already owned several cordless Dewalt tools, so I had the 18 volt batteries and chargers.

I use it both in the shop and around the house for the immediate pick-up jobs, especially when I don't feel like dragging out the shop vac and cord. The abililty to take it wherever you don't have an outlet is a real plus. It has good suction for a portable vacuum. I would recommend it to anyone.

DeWalt Review Great for quick jobs
Had this guy for about 8 months now and it works real well. It has plenty of power on the batteries for small jobs. I used it to change out around 12 lock sets on interior doors that needed some chisel work on the latch and it made it real nice to just vac up all the chips and move on to the next. Filter is real easy to clean; just knock or wash it off. I even used it to clean up a spilt coffee at one of the places I was doing work at. It did a great job as a wet vac. Plumbers may even think about using it to suck the water out of toilets when doing a removal or change out. It would be a handy size for that.
If you own the batteries and charger already, go for it. If not, just go buy a small shop vac. I love mine mainly because I had four 18 volt batteries already.

DeWalt Review Poor quality machines.
We've been using these saws in our middle school wood shop for the last five years. In that amount of time, I've lost track of how many times I've had these in for repairs. It's more of a hobby saw that can not stand up to serious use. In addition, one saw that we purchased, stopped working a week after we took it out of the box.

DeWalt Review tribute to the best
This scroll saw is a Bentley. By comparison, the other scroll saws on the market are Yugos, unless you want to fork over an outrageous sum of cash.

DeWalt Review Dewalt DW788 Scrollsaw
After looking at reviews of many scrollsaws and trying to stay uner $500, I bought the Dewalt DW788. I use it for Intarsia so it has to be able to do some fine cutting. I've already finished two projects with it and I am completely satisfied with it. There is virtually no vibration and changing the blades is a snap since no tools are required. It's well built and the only assembly was connecting the base plate which only required two screws.
