High Quality Generator.This Dewalt generator is ,without question,one of the nicest on the market. It's level of design,preformance and finish is the best available today. I have used many generators,from various manufactures and I would say that this Dewant unit compares with the super-duty,heavy construction, units I've used. You can't go wrong.

Once I had completed assembly and added oil and fuel, I gave a very light tug on the rope to get a feel for how much resistance it would offer. It started! Have only had it a few weeks, but it works just as advertised. The automatic idle is a very nice feature which really keeps noise down when there is no load. Note - be sure to follow instructions, since the generator is shipped without oil. If you like to jump ahead, do not put in fuel or oil before assembling wheels and lifting hook.

best bits for the moneyFor all-around shop use, these are the best drill bits for the money. I wish it had a titanium nitride coating, instead of a gold ferrous oxide coating. The no-spin shank is great for keyless chucks on hand drills. The pilot point helps to both start straight and drill straight. The only drawback with a pilot point design is that it's virtually impossible to resharpen a dull bit to the same shape. Maybe someday Drill Doctor will come out with a drill bit sharpener that can sharpen pilot points.
very smooth bitsI have used these bits for several projects around my house. Most notably, I used them to build some bookcases. There was absolutely no wandering when I drilled the holes for the shelf mounts. The holes were nice and clean and the bits chewed through the work piece with ease.
These are the best Drill Bits I have ever used!I have burned up many drill bits in the past, and for the price these are the best. These bits alleviate the drill bit change from having to drill a pilot hole when using larger bits. Every hole is dead on. No drill bit traveling or pulling of the wood or steel. I have used these bits to drill through wood, 1/4" steel plate and plastic. I have had no problems with any of the materials. The holes are straight and clean and right on the measurements that I needed. If you require an accurate hole being drilled, then there is no other drill bit to be using.

A MUST for hobbyists, home remodellers, contractorsFirstly, not many of the manufacturers' plastic tool cases are worth a darn. Slots don't hold the parts, etc. But with this kit, a whole different story! Whether you open the kit inverted or correctly (label up), each tool remains in its appropriate slot. Secondly, everything you could ask for in reference to your cordless is contained within this impressive kit. Whether your gun is Porter Cable, DeWalt, Makita, Hitachi... you will not find a better kit for the price. This product is well worth owning.
A Contractor must have!!!Excellent set for the contractor! Be carefull removing the smaller cobalt hex shank bits. I snapped the 1/16" one right off. But it was replaced for me by DeWalt without incident! Good Quality bits though!

The bestThis countersink has to be the best on the market. Ive tried many diffrent brands over the years and never found as good. I buid resturants for a living that requres a demanding scheul.which really puts tools to a harsh test.this tool has preformed well.

Even my old fovorite, the Fuller countersink, would need attention after 8 or 10 jobs. I'd get a year out of a set, maybe. Then I got my hands on some DeWalt countersink, and after more than a dozen jobs I still haven't had to sharpen a one. Even the #6 & #8 which I use the most. The countersink has stayed sharpe though hundeds of holes,in plywood,pressboard, formica,& solid stock. The drill bit has also exceded my exspectations. It has stayed true and hasn't shown any signs of fatigue. I have yet to have to sharpen either piece, which has save me time (and money). This is the best countersink combination I have found. I could go years without buying another one , if I didnt loose it at the last job.

This is a true screw gunA relative came over to help me install drywall in my basement and brought his Dewalt screw gun. After seeing him run through a box of screws I realized it was pointless for me to try to keep up with my drill and bit attachment. It was more efficient for me to measure and cut pieces and let him take care of the fasteners. I was fascinated at how he would keep the screw gun running with one hand and bring up screws from his apron with the other. Once he got going, his rate was one screw every one-two seconds. Jeff had to leave after a couple of hours but left the Dewalt for me. It was then that I learned the features that allowed for this lightning fast drywall installation.
When the trigger is depressed, the motor runs, but the tip does not turn until it is also pressed against the work surface. The motor runs at much higher RPM's than my drill resulting in the 1-5/8" screws disappearing into the drywall in a blink. The depth adjustment disengages the clutch at your predetermined setting resulting in perfectly placed screws every time. The drywall paper was perfectly dimpled, without breaking, at every screw. I also found that longer 3" screws installed through joists just as quickly and easily.
It turns out Jeff let me keep his "old" Dewalt because he had a few that he uses for work. I can't wait to use it on my upcoming deck project.
Much better than a drill with a bit attachment.With the built in clutch mechanism, there is no chance of stripping or twisting off the head off a screw. Simply set the depth adjustment, drive the screw, and wait for the clutch to engage. The screw will always be the perfect depth, every time. I was building a deck with someone else using a drill and was able to drive a good 25% more screws in the same amount of time since I didn't have to worry about depth and torque. Be sure and pick this one as it's the only one that comes with a case. You just can't go wrong with a good case -- you'll never loose the other head attachments.
Very useful for anything you want to driveI had a chance to use this screwdriver this past weekend and found to have plenty of power to put drywall up and to put in deck screws through redwood decking it worked great. the set and forget nosepiece was handy. i can't say enough about this dewalt we own many dewalt and other brand tools and this dewalt does not let us down.

A Great GrinderI had used this grinder to grind welds on steel furniture and cabinets. It ran cool and never had problems with the dust messing up the brushes. I also used it to widen the rough out for over 10 windows in red brick - no problems from the work or dust. The grinder is over 4 years old and I think the only complaint I have is with the noise (though every grinder is loud) - just have some ear protection or your ears might be ringing.

Good deal value packFirst class DeWalt quality recprocating saw blades that are packaged in a compact case. Great for the homeowner or contractor. The blades are great quality and hold their sharpness longer then most blades. The best part of this package is the case to keep the blades in. Just buy replacement blades and fill up the case again. Fits into the same box as the saw.
All around good itemThis is a good solid case. I purchased my orginal case two years ago and it has survived several construction projects. It is great for keeping freash blades sorted and within easy reack. There are plently of compartments so I use mine to hold my jigsaw blades as well. No more hunting in the bottem of the tool box when a blade breaks or bends.
Love the caseI just got my Porter Cable tiger Saw (see my reviews), well the saw only came with one blade so the next day I bought these blades. They were just the thing I was looking for, wood cutting, metal cutting and heavy metal cutting blades. The case is the selling feature, both sides lock, good construction. The blades cut brass pipe like butter too. Buy them here, I bought at HD and paid $25.

Light Weight "Roto-Hammer" Helpful in tight places!I have used quite a few of these wrist "bangers" and ear "achers"...DeWalt seems to have found a nice balance of rotions per minutes and beats per minute. The "percussion" seems to be just right to make this drill extrememly efficient with bits 1/4" to 1/2" - seems to be pushing it to make it drill 3/4". It is a very handy drill for the tool box. I have used it to drill "perimeter holes" when adding some utility through the foundation-concrete wall - great! Also for drilling concrete anchor holes for Rawl-studs - super!

Expensive a bit, but just a little bit (like mine after it touched the blade)
I should have sharpened them myself with a big mac since the meat is so tough so it can sharpen the blade.

Don't Wait Too Long To Change Your Blades!
I experienced a broken gear on my Dewalt planer. Since my planer was out of warranty, I went through the hassle of replacing it myself.
Immediately after doing that, I put a set of these blades on.
What a difference! I had not realized that my old blades had become dull. They were still doing a great job, but what I didn't realize is that the planer was pulling too hard now. It was working too hard to plane the wood with dull blades.
Once I changed the blades, the planer had a completely different sound. Sometimes, the motor speed doesn't even change when the blades hit the wood... that's how much difference the blades made.
And don't worry... the blade height measuring jig that came as part of your DeWalt planer makes the entire process easy as can be.
Don't wait too long, or you may be replacing gears too!
Top NotchPurchased this planer a little over 1 year ago, like all of my DeWalt power tools an exellent tool at a reasonable price. (I sound like salesman) I've run about 450bf of 4/4 rough planed red oak through it, but I must admit it's about time for the knives to be sharpend, to no surprise. I work it like you would a much larger non-portable planer and it holds up to the test. The single most thing that impressed me is that straight from the box the factory set-up was perfectly within specs and has stayed that way to this day. It's paid for itself many times over, and if I ever had to purchase another planer, DeWalt would be the first I would consider. Yellow and black are becoming the dominant colors in my shop.

Great price and delivered before the estimateI was looking for replacement batteries after the originals failed to perform. I looked around and found a another brand that has a direct replacement. Then I found this offer for two DeWalt replacement batteries at the super low price, I had to purchase these.

Great Price on DeWalt BatteriesPresumably, each DW9096 in the pack works as well as the single item (see reviews on DW9096). This is a great price for a pair. I was looking for cheap batteries for my DeWalt equipment and found a 1.4 Amp hour battery for $54, but at only a buck or two more (per battery) for these, I will get the genuine, high-capacity thing! As soon, that is, as I scrape the money together.
