light, but not smoothif weight is a huge issue, consider this saw, but if durability and the feel of quality are bigger issues, go for another.

Great, but Like Continuous Rim BetterIn materials such as concrete, brick, and flagstone, however, the continuous rim version is more durable and lasts longer. The trade-off is that the continuous rim blades cut more material (more dust). In the future, I would probably only use the segmented blade on very hard or brittle materials (such as tile, slate) and otherwise stick with the continuous rim. I have not had problems with warping on the continuous rim ones either.

Not for DW746
- For exclusive use with the DW723 Miter Saw Workstation, Universal design works with all brands of miter saws
- Non-marring feet on tool mount will not scratch material
List price: $48.00 (that's 31% off!)

Worth about half the price. The bolts and nuts that mount the miter saw to the brackets are not included in the package. I made a special trip to Home Depot for the missing hardware before I could use the brackets. It's UNBELIEVABlE the four bolts were not included considering the high price DeWalt charges for the brackets. DeWalt must figure if we have purchased their workstation and need additional brackets they can charge what ever they like.

You could call it 3 1/2 stars...This stabilizer does a very good job of reducing blade vibration and thus helps to deliver noticably smoother cuts. My only beef with it is that it is too big! At 5 inches in diameter, it effectively limits the depth of cut I get from my 10 inch saw blade. When I try to raise the blade all the way, it stops short by an inch or so when the stabilizer bumps into the underside of the throat plate on my saw! When I checked a few of the other blade stabilizers on the market I discovered that Freud's is only 3 1/2 inches in diameter but Forrest makes its 'stiffeners' in 4, 5, and 6 inch sizes.
The bottom line here is that this DeWalt blade stabilizer does its job, but be prepared to sacrifice some cutting capacity!

Don't be fooled by what DeWalt calls "flexibility"Anyway, about this light, I am very happy with the amount of light it produces and the length of the time with one charge. (I have the 14.4V) But, there is a problem. The reason why I bought this light is the problem, the flexibility. There is really no flexibility. This light will NOT be flexible as you would think it will. It will loose the balance and will fall. I used it for about a month, got tired of it and got the regular version of this light. That will do anything this "flexible" light does and saves me about 400-500% time on tiring to change the light angle.
