Cracked table, wrong saw
Good saw poor Delta support
Great saw - Timing is Everything!Particularly for this saw, every time I look at it (basically on a weekly basis), the price is different. And there's no rhyme or reason to it. One week it's $869. The next it's $849. Now its $999. Sometimes there's shipping, sometimes there isn't. Sometimes the shipping is $45, this week its $199! Sometimes there's an Amazon discount, sometimes there isn't.
Why have you suddenly started jerking your customers around so much??? And why do you think that this behavior will keep customers coming back on a repeated basis?
You've turned buying consumer goods into something as erratic and stressful as venturing into the stock market. A total price on a table saw that in two months time has varied weekly and by as much as 40%? Give me a break.
I used to come to Amazon because I could get the convenience of a wide variety of items in one location at a competitive price. I'm realizing, and I hope you realize that the competitive price is really the more important factor -- and you are losing my confidence in that.
What is the real price? What is a fair price? Make me an offer and I may go for it. Else, I am just going somewhere else.
I'm pretty fed up. And I'm tired of being jerked around.
Thanks,
Mike

Bad Customer ServiceTom Butt
My compromise saw...The pros:
-Cast iron trunnions (not quite as bulky as a cabinet saw, but not flimsy by any means)
-Easy adjustments for every part of the saw.
-Quiet, quiet operation (I wired mine for 240v, 120v may be a little noisier)
-Very nice fence- not the best, but I use a Unisaw with a Beisemeyer fence at work, and I really can't tell the difference.
-Heavy enough to feel solid, but light enough to move around
-Solid, accurate miter gauge
-Plenty of power for sawing 8/4 hard maple with a good Freud blade.
-Feels like a Unisaw, only about $700 less expensive
The cons:
-Belt should be disconnected when not in use to prevent jerky operation if you don't use it every day, but at least it's not too hard to do.
-Powder-coating on the stand was inconsistant, with a couple of large light spots that will need touch-up eventually.
-240v wiring diagram for the motor requires a bit of digging around to find and read (It's under the cap with the breaker in it, and you have to take the breaker completely out to read it)
-A short jump when the saw starts, but it runs smoothly after that.
-No place to store the miter guage or blade wrenches on the case
-Odd-sized nuts and hex keys are needed for assenbly and adjustment, but don't come with it. (make sure you have an 18mm open-ended wrench for the extension wings- all three of my sets jump from 17 to 19, and a 3mm hex key [Delta includes a number of hex keys that I didn't use for anything, but not the one I needed to adjust the height of the insert...?]
-Bolt kit for the fence was for a model with steel wings, not the cast iron ones that come with this saw, making the fence assembly a little different than it should be, it was also missing one bolt entirely.
Overall, it's a heck of a nice saw, and you really can't beat the price. I was seriously considering Grizzly, but after checking this one out in the store, it's hard to imagine a better product in this price range, and the money I saved on shipping made this a much more attractive proposition. I'd definately buy this one again- sure, it doesn't get you the bragging rights of a 5hp Unisaw, but do you really *need* that?
WorkhorseI have the 240V model with a 50" table extension, the Unifence, and a mobile base. Very workable and reasonably priced setup.
Please ignor people that critize saw for errors in shipping, faulty setup on their part, or issues with Delta that have nothing to do with saw in question.

- Powerful 1-1/2-horsepower, 115-volt induction motor can be wired at 230-volts for even more power

- Rugged rack and pinion blade raising and tilting mechanism maintains accuracy

- Two-year limited warranty on machines, parts, and accessories

SCAMMED BY DELTA
Great saw but mail order is risky. The rip fence and fence guide came slightly damaged and I suspect it was damaged even before it left the factory - the box showed no signs of damage but the items were dented. Because the damage wasnt great enough to be worth the hassle of trying to return a 5-foot long box and then have to wait an unknown time for a replacement, I decided to keep it damaged - it leaves a bad taste though. Delta or Amazon probably knew of the damage and was betting (correctly) that it wouldnt be returned
The saw functions beautifully - its sturdy and all the parts that relate to alignment can be adjusted. Couple of minor complains - I wish the blade tilt wheel would have a positive stop at its maximum tilt - as it is now, the wheel feels like its tightening rather than stopping. I also wish the power cable didnt lead out of the dusty inside of the saw - a hole through the side and a rubber grommet would solve that.
If I had to do this again, I would have bought this in a store instead of by mail order so that its easier to return damage parts.
Great Table Saw

A real disappointment1. Standing upright on a cast iron table (such as a tablesaw) - This thing nearly jumped out of my hand to stick to my tablesaw.
2. Attaching to the side of my drill press - Basically the magnet would not hold the light in this position. Only if I flexed the neck so the lamp itself hung straight down would it even hold itself to the side of the drillpress - and then it was so wobbly that I was afraid to turn on the press for fear that the light would slide right off...
3. Hanging straight down from a metal plate on the ceiling - This light will support itself in this manner so long as nothing bumps it, in which case the magnet gives up and the whole thing falls down.
So, I have to say that either I got a bad magnet or this tool is not worth owning, or both. Since a clamp on light will do everything that this can do and more - I don't recommend that you buy one of these!
Nice lamp, but requires appliance bulb.
VERY PLEASED

- Fits Delta contractor saws and right tilt unisaws for safer use of dado sets

Works greatFour stars because it costs too much and doesn't have a mounting screw. I am glad I didn't get hurt using my saw without one.
Product size shown above is incorrect.Actual size of this insert (Model 34-264) is 13.375" X 3.75"

buy em...worth itFrom all I've read, you want to get these. If you've gone this far to buy a dust collector, don't skim on the last part that will stop tiny dust from blasting back into your workshop.

Amazon ShippingI ordered $1,000.00 in high end tools, including a tablesaw fence that arrived in TERRIBLE condition, i.e ripped entirely open with scattered and broken parts. The exposed pieces, now in two half boxes was set on my porch in the rainy weather.
It is convienient that Amazon lists no phone numbers on thier Web sites, making them unavailable for service.
I have wanted this product for some time now, and now that I am able to get it, I realize that I should have ordered it factory direct. At least they would be available and accountable to the promptness and condition of delivery.
I'm sure I will like my new Nucraft Router Table. I just hope Amazon doesn't ruin the anticipation and quality of this product.

I LOVE this Shower MassageMy partner said "wasn't the original called a Shower Massage?" And I said "yeah, Waterpik." So off to the web site I went to do a little research. I picked the Linnea 10 setting Shower Massage because it fit my budget and had the features I wanted.
I couldn't be happier. The real excitement was a setting that feels like a soft rainstorm. I can't even describe it. The only thing I would like it to have is a cutoff setting so you can intermittently shut off the spray without turning off the water. If it had that I would have given it 5 stars.
No problems here
I came back to WaterPik
The Planer works flawlessly after futzing with the roller table assembly/alignment. The largest I had to give it was 12" black walnut and it came out beautifully and without straining. Only Thing I don't like is that the dust collector (optional) port is like 5" so my hoses don't fit. And I think you really need dust collector with this thing, unless you don't mind being up to your knees in chips. Had to modify the dust collector (cut the crossbar out of inlet), either that or change it's name to insta-plug.
I was woried about the steel feed roller leaving marks but it doesn't unless you don't cut, then their minimal
Saw minimal snipe once but not since, go figure.
