I ordered several Delta band saw blades when I got my new band saw. I thought, how bad can they be? Well, really bad is the answer. All of them. Cutting 3/4" hard wood was like cutting steel. I got some blades from another vender and it made a world of difference. Don't waste money on Delta blades. Zero would be a better rating.

I bought this blade to run in my Jet 12 inch band saw. I am fairly certain I have it set up properly and it cuts very poorly. The offsets on each teeth are very large and thus it leaves an extremely rough cut on any wood unless you feed the wood at a very slow rate and thus burn it. The roughness is so bad you cant even sand it out so I dont recommend this blade at all

I recently bought this sander for my shop and I thought it was a great idea, great product, and great price. Although I did not buy it from toolcrib I got it for only 100 bucks brand new. I now know why. I have not heard yet but I would not doubt it if delta has already stopped making these. It is a great idea, but something is missing. Possibly the lack of consistancy of sanding across the surface of the pad or just not being able to put enough pressure on the machine to get the job done correctly. I would much rather stick to my dewalt random orbit sander(handheld).

I have seen this dado head and I have read about how poorly this dado head cuts. I think That a Thin Rim Dado is much better. But if I were anyone that owns a dado head. I would get the Avemger Products dado sets. They look exactly like the Systi Matic Superfine dado head but they have three things that the Superfine dado head does not. First of all, These sets are available in 6 and 8 inch diameters ranging from 20 to 42 teeth. They also include a 3/32nd inch chipper while Systi Matic does not and you get 8 shims and a manual as well. As far as I'm concerned, The avenger sets look really good to me.

IT SHOULD AT LEAST COME WITH MOUNTING HDW FOR THE SHELF.

After waiting for weeks, the bottom line is that this is another tool that Amazon promotes, but cannot source. This has become a trend that I've seen with several tool-related orders with Amazon.

I bought this blade because of its relatively low price, compared with other dado blades. Well I believe this is one of those, "you get what you pay for," situations. This blade does not give a very accurate dado cut, often leaving a scalloped cut rather than a square clean cut. Because of the adjustable design, this blade spins at an angle and produces an unacceptable vibration action. If I had it to do over again, I would have spent the extra money and bought a stack type dado blade.

Listen to the other reviews, I should have. I waited over a year to pick up this saw from when I saw it introduced.
I ordered this from a local reputable wood shop and assembled the unit per the included directions.

At the point of blade installation I was appalled to find that the blade was 1/4" out of alignment. The blade could not be lifted to full height through the red insert. Heck, it was 1/16" from hitting the cast iron frame lip that supported the insert plate.

Per the local repair center's instructions I dissabled the unit and even pulled the motor off to relieve the pressure/stress on the frame and bolts during the alignment process. I was able to take it from .250" to .042" out of alignment but the tie rods connecting the trunions are warped. Including my time, I've had the unit in the repair shop now for over 3 weeks since purchaing the unit, and have yet to turn the system on.



One thing I did find out from working on this left tilt blade is that this saw is very difficult to work on compared to a traditional cabinet saw or contractor saw. If your looking to save space in your shop as I was, dont pay the extra for the compact footprint and the motor. Its not worth the hastle. Delta has low quality control on this product.
