Ordered this item May 2. Now you tell me that I won't get it until July. The rating is for the shipping, not the item itself. Please, just tell me what is going on!!!!!!!!! I will not approve another change. I will just cancel.

this planer knives are very good product, only is necesary especific the grade of sttel. only that, thanks

Real junk! less than one hour of use, the silly plastic chain that holds the cap broke. the sponge in the base creates a mess at the nozzel that requires cleaning prior to use. the holes in the nozzel are at the end rather than on the side, thus requiring greater effort to cote the bisquit slot. No gasket or seal in the cap thus, you guessed it; the unit leaks. All of you looking at this bottle, don't buy it.

I purchased one of these a few months ago after using my buddies Lamello glue system. I thought it would work the same. I wasted .... I chucked it and bought the lamello. It was $20 more expensive but there's a big deffernce. Don't forget the disposable brushes.

I receieved one of these biscuit shaped glue bottles 9 years ago, with my biscuit joiner, and used it religiously -- at first. Over the years, and several thousand biscuits later, I find laying down a thin stream of glue followed by brushing the glue to a uniform thickness on the board and biscuit surface produces a much stronger joint. Investing the 19.95+ in bulk throw-a-way applicator brushes is a better use of the money.

It is a nice bit set but the picture is of an Ogee Panel Cutter, the bit you will get is straight.

I thought I had made the mistake! After a few experiences here I will now check Home Depot for availability (they're often cheaper!).

Picture is not of the 97-200 set. The panel bit shown is from the 204 set. The one that will arrive with the 200 set is a straight angle rather than the double curve. March 3, 2006.

The review is based on the Amazon's service rather than the knives themselves. The knives a the typical high quality from Freud, but I had to wait nearly three months for delivery. I got one message after another from Amazon about the delay with new expected delivery dates, but as the date approached I received another delay notice.

I have the same complaint. I've waited three months and just keep getting told, "there is a delay in shipment"...they are just a picture on a website..they don't really exist.

Ordered on May 5, 2003. It's now June 4, 2003. Only information available is "not shipped yet". If the item in fact is not available, let the buyer know so that the buyer has the opportunit to contact other suppliers.

This is a typical high quality Freud product, but I made the mistake of buying this 3/8" shank bit. It dosen't fit my router. Most routers use 1/4" and 1/2" bits. The cost for returning the bit is almost the same as the cost of the bit, so I am stuck with it.

Are these for a 1/4" collet or larger? Can't buy without knowing the size!

Received the Freud 99-033 Wedge and Tongue router bit as a gift. The bit doesn't leave a "tongue" cut, rather it leaves a female grove. Seems like there should be a "mate" which would be the reverse cut so the tongue and grove would meet. If you need the opposite bit, than the ads should state the item number. If this is a one bit that does both, would be nice to receive a small booklet or picture describing the method on how to use.

As I had read in other reviews of similar bits from Freud. The bits arrived loose from packaging and the carbide cutter on one was chipped badly.

Update. Received my replacements from Amazon and they picked up the cost of shipping each direction. The bits arrived in good condition and did a good job.

It's hard to rate this item, when you have not shipped it yet. I was told it would ship by December 1. WHERE IS IT, I AM GETTING NERVOUS. It is a Christmas Present and this is December 16 th.

My old cutters are a reversible set from Grizzley. I wanted a set that I could just switch arbors on the shaper and be ready to go. The problem with these particular cutters is they don't use a bearing. So, if all your shaping is on straight cuts, these will work fine. If you want to make a door with an arch, however, these are worthless. Freud sells a bearing to go with the set, but the way the cutters are designed, unless you have an inch thick piece of stock, the wood misses the bearing. I'm sticking with my Grizzley reversible cutters.
