Smooth as SilkI finally wore out the Freud 80-tooth thin kerf blade on my power mitre saw. It took 8 years of general use - including several solid oak floor installations - to do it. Without hesitation, I purchased the Freud TKR806 to replace it. This blade cuts oak as effortlessly as pine, leaving a cut so smooth it shines! Its also very quiet. I have Freud blades on my radial arm and table saw and couldn't be happier with their performance. Highly recommended!
Jointable EdgesThe Freud 80 tooth blade does an excellent job in my Jet Tablesaw. Very nice smooth cut. The stabilized blade is much quieter than the 28 tooth blade that came with the saw too. The edge is so nice that I don't even bother to joint the edge before gluing.

Smooth, clean cutsI used this blade with a DeWalt 8.5-inch sliding compound miter saw on my recent flooring project. I was putting down a laminate/composite floor. The recommendation of the flooring manufacturer was for a carbide blade with a lot of teeth (60 on a 10-inch blade). I had to cut many angles because of the shape of the room and the saw/blade worked very well. Cut surfaces were very smooth - almost like they were planed. No chipping of the laminate surface, except to a very minor degree when I had to plunge the blade because the angle put the start of the cut right at the edge of the material.
I also used a laser guide with this blade. The laser guide is reliably at the left edge of the kerf, so you can get very close to the exact cut location you want.
The cutting noise is a bit lower than carbide blades with fewer teeth.
No complaints - the blade works as advertised. I also have a 7.25" Freud carbide blade on my circular saw (a Milwaukee) and it works well. This is one reason I decided on the Freud for the DeWalt saw.

Best bit for the moneyI have used a number of router 3/4" straight router bits, from Bosch, CMT, Ohldham and Woodcraft. Nothing holds an edge like the freud bits have. I use them to route dado's in anything from pine, maple and oak. They cost less than the CMT bits and hold an edge 25 0 40% longer. If you need it, get it, nothing beats it that I have used.

The Best long lasting bits in the BusinessFreud Bits are the longest lasting and most durable bits in the business. I have used cheaper bits but none of them lasted longer than a project or two. The Freud router bits that I have used are as good as new after many years of use. I count on them for precision performance and long lasting value.

Chips not burnt dustI like router bits that produce chips. This one does that. I don't like bits that burn when you stop for a moment--this one is pretty good about not burning too.

so far so goodI haven't used it enough to talk about reliability, although Freud is one of the best ones out there, and also one of the few to make (actually the only one I found) this size bit.

Great Bit!I do lots of channel routing which requires many passes to achieve the desired width. This Freud bit does the trick EVERY time! Rarely any kickback (and if there is any - it's normally caused by a stupid move on my part) and clean routs every time. I love it and the rest of my Freud bits. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Slots have never been easierCutting tounge and groove when replacing floor boards in my 100 year old house, has never been easier since I bought this bit. I set it up on my router table, and go. I cut the boards for my entire upstairs hallway in about 30 minutes, including set up time. Its easy to use and adjust, and comes sharp and ready to use. I bought this bit because of the Freud name, and I'm happy I've stuck with them...

This is a skateboard bearing! 5/16" not quite accurate???If this is a 5/16" modification of a 608 then it might be an excellent bearing for skateboarding, as they use 5/16" axles.
If it's just a plain 608 then oh well, just some incorrect details.
