Hitachi Review Hitachi 10 inch fiber cement saw blade
This is a great tool for cutting cement siding. I use mine in my radial arm saw and get very smooth cuts. With the radial arm saw I can cut the widest planks. The dust is much less than cutting with a regular carbid blade. I also use the 7 1/2 inch blade in a circular saw for rip cuts. I am also using Malco Plank Gauges for holding the planks during installation and they are very helpful.

Hitachi Review This is a MUST
With the 1.5" high fence on the Hitachi Miter Saw, this is a MUST. I felt very uncomfortable holding a tall 3" workpiece perfectly vertical and this vise assembly would have made it much easier.

Hitachi Review The only other choice is almost just as good.
If you own a CB75F and you want to resaw with a wide blade, it's either this blade, which has all carbide teeth or the other Hitachi blade with every other tooth carbide tipped. The other blade is a bit cheaper, but it does not last as long. I've had both blades professionally sharpened, and the results were decent for what it cost, but they do not cut like brand new blades. I am unaware of another manufacturer that makes blades to fit this saw, so this is what I use!

Hitachi Review Decent buy for the money
The c12fch is a nice saw and it can make up to 5 " cuts vertically. I did have to hold the guard back to get it to cut this but nonetheless it cut it. The only thing so far I do not like about the saw is that you can not see the laser if you are cutting verically. The laser is underneath the blade instead of up at the top hence the blocking of the laser by the wood you are cutting. So if this is a big deal keep shopping if not... this model seems to be decent. If you need the digital readout for bevel cutting crown molding then go for the c12lch. It's a little more expensive but would be worth it for the accuracy.

Hitachi Review not great but pretty good
This thing is a T Rex. It will cut 1/4" steel with relative ease. Cutting does require some effort and like all abrasive saws eats blades but it does a good job and will give a straight cut that looks good and is easy to true up. The saw is heavy so I would not suggest using it in any but a horizontal cut. The blade is easy to change but the blade nut should be attached to the blade washer which would ease installation.

Hitachi Review Good Solid 3/8" Drill
This is a great drill to have in your arsenal, especially when your cordless drill farts out on the job, and you don't want to pull out the big 1/2" hammer drill for light to medium duty drilling and driving tasks. I'd give it 5 stars, but the placement of the trigger lock is not well designed. I have inadvertantly engaged it a few times while in the middle of a drilling task and even while driving screws.

Hitachi Review A GOOD LITTLE COMPRESSOR
THIS IS A GOOD COMPRESSOR FOR THE HOMEOWNER/DIY-ER WHO WANTS THE POWER TO RUN NAIL GUNS, BUT DOESN'T NEED THE SIZE REQUIRED BY A PRO. I HAVE USED MINE TO RUN A CONSTRUCTION NAILER (PORTER-CABLE FR-350), A COIL-ROOFING NAILER (BOSTICH), ALONG WITH OTHER TOOLS. THE 5.8 GALLON TANK MANAGED TO KEEP UP WITH ME AS LONG AS I DIDN'T RAPID-FIRE TOO MANY TIMES. A GOOD VALUE ESPECIALLY WHEN BUYING THE PACKAGE DEAL (COMPRESSOR,NAILER,HOSE). DOWN-SIDE: ITS AWKWARD TO CARRY, THE WHEELS DON'T ROLL VERY WELL ACROSS THE YARD, AND THE SINGLE FOOT DESIGN HAS A HABIT OF SINKING INTO THE DIRT. ( NONE OF WHICH MATTERS IF YOU LEAVE IT IN THE GARAGE AND ADD EXTRA AIRHOSE INSTEAD.)

    Hitachi Review good buy
I use the Makita grinder of this same size a lot at work, but when I decided to buy my own for use in my shop I bought this Hitachi model. Honestly I only bought the Hitachi because it was cheaper, but now that I've put some miles on it I like it as much or more than the Makita. The Hitachi has a better locking slide power button and feels more powerful. The only negatives are that it is slightly heavier than the Makita and that it sounds a little rough on the shutdown. Oh yes the lock button for changing discs is an excellent idea that works well. If you plan to use the machine as a sander,as I often do, the Makita sanding pad, discs, and lock nut fit this machine.

    Hitachi Review kelly green
It's hard to confidently judge any tool without actually having used it. My experience with Hitachi tools is consistently that they are smooth-operating. If this grinder is like the other Hitachi tools I've used, it'll be a decent buy at the price. The following is essentially insignificant in actually making a purchasing decision, but I do find Hitachi's kelly green color scheme aesthically pleasing.

Hitachi Review More Dependable than Timex
This is one of the best heavy equipment/demolition tools I've ever used on the job. A few months back I needed to rent one for some work I was doing on my basement, breaking up old concrete. After I used it for a couple of days, I went out and bought one for work (I'm a demolition contractor). This is much easier to control than most 60-90lb pneumatic jack hammers. I'm not a very muscular person, but I didn't have any difficulty handling it and it never walked on me. If you need a medium to heavy duty jack hammer, I'd recommend purchasing or renting this over most pneumatic hammers because it's easy to use, it's reliable, the steel bits it uses are widely available and you don't have to lug around a huge compressor.
