I agree with the other review that this is a quality product. As stated, it does not fit the saw opening perfectly (I have the Powermatic 64) leaving an irritating gap. The Leecraft insert for my old Sears saw fit like a glove.

If you have a saw you NEED a zero clearance insert, believe me. Actually two. One for 90 degrees and one set up for 45. This is especially true if you work on small pieces, but they improve the cut, and safety, on any size stock. I tried some cheaper plastic ones; don't bother. Neither was flat enought to use. I sent them back.

Well, I wrote the above glowing review while in the process of ordering a spare. When It arrived the finger hole was drilled in the wrong end. Thought it might work as a 45 degree backup so I fitted and sawed. Aghhh...saw kerf through the middle of the hole. American made. Get some asian quality control workers guys!!!!

This is probably the best construction and probably the most reliable insert I have seen/used which is why I gave it 5 stars.

However, if you own a Jet cabinet saw, JTAS-10, it may not fit.

It did not fit mine...it was smaller than the original opening in the table.

In the past, I have purchased Waterpik hand-held showerheads and was reasonably satisfied, though the reliability of them kept diminishing with each subsequent purchase (the first one lasted over a dozen years, and the last about 2.5 years). When the bracket on the most recent one cracked, I decided to try another manufacturer.

I didn't know what I was missing! The Speakman is vastly superior in coverage (though it doesn't have a "pulsating" setting as the Waterpik did), the bracket is more adjustable for height, and the hose is made out of a better-quality material. Most imporant, it seems to maximize water pressure (almost equal to a fixed showerhead, in fact) in a way that the Waterpik never did.

Since this is a new purchase, its longevity is unknown; but so far, it is a definite improvement and highly recommended.

I bought a used delta 16" bandsaw (3-wheel) and was quickly frustrated by the poor quality blade, tried this blade from Olson and the difference is incredible, I can resaw dense hardwoods (lacewood, cherry, hard maple) up to 8" and the cut is relatively fast an clean, a great upgrade to Delta's 3 wheel saw.

this bag is great for fitting everything you will ever need for a trip in. Nice feature that it stands up.

I was unsatisfied with the fence on my Grizzly 17" bandsaw. It had a handle in the wrong place (to release the fence would bring the handle up to where the wood was usually positioned, because the handle was 2 inches to the right of the fence, go figure, meaning that to adjust the fence I would have to remove the wood from the table). This fence is a great design. The release handle is in line with the fence itself, as it should be, so you never have to remove the workpiece from the table to adjust the fence. The fence lock is very very secure. Moving the fence is smooth. Movement of the fence during locking is not too much. All in all, great. The resaw attachment that comes with the fence is really nice. It is basically a point fence about 6 inches high. It is very stable and when I bolted it onto my Grizzly bandsaw it was perfectly at 90 degrees. Highly recommended. In order to fit it to my saw I had to drill one hole at the back edge of the fence to bolt the rear guide on... apparently the grizzly table is about 3/4" deeper than the Jet table. AMAZING upgrade, this is 20 times better than the original fence on my saw.

I looked long and hard before shelling out the $$$ for this drill press. I even spent about 2 months searching for a used one with similar features. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that there was no way to duplicate it's features.

It is an industrial machine that I will use for both wood and metal, yet it operates off 230 volt single phase, thanks to a variable frequency drive.

The speeds are variable over a wide range thanks to the variable frequency drive, and it retains full torque throughout those speeds.

Switching between the two speed ranges is by a gearshift lever on the side of the head. The gear mechanism is bathed in oil so it shifts ranges and runs smoothly and quietly.

The production table is really unique. It rotates, when the table is unlocked, on a 5" bearing. You just won't believe it how smoothly. And by the way. both the table lock and table raise/lower are accessible from the front of the machine which is a REAL plus for me. Now I don't have to crawl around the back of the drill press and bang my head on my shaper to get to it.

That production table can support over 200#, and even when fully loaded it moves up and down smoothly and easily. That ability allows me to place a 100#, 16" by 8" XY table ( a new piece available from Grizzly) on it along with a heavy 8" vise and still have plenty of load capacity left to handle heavy workpieces. On my old machine I had to lift on the table while cranking and really struggle to move it up, even unloaded. Now it is just one hand on the crank, even with 160# of XY table and vise loaded on the table. This table is perhaps the best feature of the machine.

When combined with the finest Milwaukee cobalt drill bits and a top quality Jacobs chuck with integral 3MT shaft, the runout is exceptional. I can drill through most woods at and angle with essentially no tearout on the exit hole, even without brad point bits.

The 6" spindle travel allows for easier setups and less fussing with table height.

I haven't had an opportunity to use the tapping feature, but I'm sure it will be just as smooth as everything else I've done with it.

I give Jet a lot of credit for designing a really nice machine, and getting it fabricated to very high quality from an asian manufacturer. I'm glad I purchased it, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a high quality drill press.

My ONLY issue was with the shipping crate which had been damaged on the bottom (the pallet) which didn't harm the machine but made it a bit difficult to pick off the truck with a forklift.

Well worth the price. I'm buying this to replace the original factory equipment Ford car jack -- what a joke. Took over 20 minutes to dig out all the parts and crank the rear end high enough to change a tire.
This is a serious piece of hardware. Compact and fast. You can set up and raise the rear end of a E350 in 2 minutes.

This jack turned out to be an excellent buy. It has saved me nearly enough money to cover it's initial purchase price just by being able to install new tires on my Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 motorcycle! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who owns a motorcycle or ATV.

I actually purchased these sanding sleeves for my old Boice Crane OSS not a Jet OSS as the sleeves were intended for. They work very well on the Boice Crane. You're not going to find a better value for these 9" sleeves than Amazon.com. I shopped local stores and on-line... Amazon.com had the best deal. Plus, I purchased three different diameters of sanding sleeves, which qualified me for free shipping due to the value of my order. All of my sleeves were delivered in less than a week. I was afraid they might be damaged during shipping because they're kind of a delicate item, but they arrived just fine. Amazon.com even went to the extra cost of splitting my shipment into two different deliveries to expidite my order due to some of the sleeves being in short supply. The bottom line is this: the Jet sanding sleeves are just what I needed for my sander and Amazon.com, once again, was a pleasure to do business with.
