Milwaukee Review Rugged Industrial Quality
This heat gun is ultra fast-to-heat-up and stays put at your set temperature because of its high-tech thermo-reactive properties. It has an ultra-accurate, cool-looking, bright green temperature LCD display on a black background, which makes it visible in the dark. It is located in the ergonomically correct location (on top). Three different air-flow settings allow for ultimate control and air pressure/heat ratio exertion.

The intuitively-designed shape includes separate temperature control (by 10 degree increments) and fan speed control buttons. Unlike most variable guns, the integrated stand allows for a fully erect stance--when needed--with optimally located trigger controls located side-by-side on the handle.

The double-insulated, ceramic-encapsulated heating element is safe and efficient. If you vaporize herbal substances such as tobacco using a heat gun, you want a ceramic core so that it doesn't give off toxins. Moreover, this product has a stunning five-year warranty, partially because ceramic heating elements last longer.

I highly recommend this item to everybody ranging from heat gun novices to legendary heat gun users. It has great controls, a sturdy feel, and a long warranty to back its obvious integrity. Enjoy the control of a professional product with luxury features. A lot of thought went into the multi-faceted, ergonomic design and I am a proud owner.

Milwaukee Review A Very good product
This heat gun is all a heat gun should be. Its reliable, provides even controlable heat for many applications. The gun provides three different air flow settings along with an infinitly variable temperature selector. The digital readout is a very nice plus which first indicates the set target temperature and then shows the increments until it hits the target. This kind of control opens up the amount of uses to more temperature sensitive applications. If you must have the best this is it; though i wish it had a case! As mentioned below it took a few weeks to ship because this product is not normally stocked. The previous reviewer should of figured this out...

Milwaukee Review Good Torque & Power, Poor Design
We've used this drill for construction, and found that it lacks the good design that most other Milwaukee tools have. Its got good power and torque, but the trigger is way too large, making it more likely to accidently engage than oter drills. Also, when you depress the trigger, your finger/hand often gets pinched between the trigger and housing when you release the trigger. We've found that we really like Milwaukee's cordless drills, but we prefer Porter Cable's corded drills.

Milwaukee Review built like a brick and feels like one too
This drill has many pluses: it is powerful, extremely durable, and it is built for the long haul. Unfortunately, it has the ergonomics of the brick it's built like. For small holes, it is fine, but I have a Milwaukee 0233-20 for the small stuff. This was supposed to be for BIG holes. It just jumps out of my grip when I am drilling very large holes in tought material.

It wasn't just me because when my brother-in-law and his buddy came over so I could drill a large hole is steel we couldn't do it with this drill. Mind you the drill wan't having the problem, we were. I have the same problem with large holes in hardwood as well.

It's to bad because this thing is built really tough. But getting the Milwaukee 0299 or 0300 is probably a better choice... they have excellent ergonomics.

Milwaukee Review The Best 1/2-inch Bar None
Milwaukee's Magnum drill is simply the best half incher in it's power class. I've used mine for the most brutal jobs and it never complains, always gets the work done well and easily. It's made to last like few other power tools are. It has these brush cartridges you can replace easily when your motor brushes wear out. I still haven't needed to, but it's nice to know it's just a two minute job. I really appreciate the large trigger myself, because when I use a drill thi big, I mean to do some drilling, and this trigger is easy to grip and use even when I'm applying a lot of pressure to the work. Right on Milwaukee!

Milwaukee Review Nothing but problems with this tool.
I returned mine after a few weeks use. The main problem was that the batteries often "stuck" and couldn't be removed. Also, the drill is very heavy, which I guess could be expected from an 18 volt tool. I also own one of the recently discontinued DeWalt 14.4 volt drills, which I prefer to the Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Review A very heavy and awkward drill
I really liked this drill, until I used the a DeWalt. I am a union carpenter from Toledo.I use the drill in many diffrent tasks from door hardware to drilling for Tapcons.Itis a rugged tool, but it is not balanced at all.It is also very long and heavy. The hammer mode is very very slow.I have used the DeWalt 14.4 also and think that it is a better design. The only decent tool from Milaukee is the 1/2" magnum corded drill in my opinion.

Milwaukee Review Fair and Balance
This is a real workhorse made in Germany. I have used one daily for over 5 years in a Woodworking/cabinet shop. Our Dewalts, after heavy use suffered from from front end bearing/chuck slop. This drill has an optional flashlight, (that attaches forward of the trigger) which is great for under cabinet work. If you don't like the weight of an 18 volt drill this one is a real winner. Example: I have cut 4 1/2 " holesaw holes in 3/4 inch ply, 1 1/4 " holes in solid ash and maple and drove countless screws up to 4 "

Milwaukee Review I've used sharper butter knives.
Maybe I got a bad batch of these, but they barely cut through a 2x2. You have to put so much effort behind your saw it almost isn't worth it. You would be better with a hand saw. I usually don't review the products I buy, but I felt that I should save someone else the frustration I have with these blades.

Milwaukee Review Blades live up to their name
I've been using The Ax blades while renovating buildings in France and take pleasure while zipping through 300 year old beams. The blades cut best with an orbital action, but still work well with a regular straight push-pull action. I've cut through 12" diameter Larch beams embedded with heavy square spikes, plenty of fir (sapin) structural wood, tons of soft and hardwood pallets, and lately Birch and Oak firewood. The only material that dulls them rapidly is brick, but even then, they do cut through brick! My consumption rate is about 4 blades per year of each of the 6", 9", and 12" sizes when not cutting through brick. These blades will cut through any wood framed building material and you don't have to worry about them bending over if you smash the tip into something solid. I'm convinced that you can also grind the teeth off them and make steak knife blades with them when they're dull, as described in a 1950's Popular Mechanics book using old hacksaw blades. Ironically, the Milwaukee 48-08-0401 Quik-Lok Job Saw would make a fine handle. Five stars all the way.

Milwaukee Review Very durable blades
This is the toughest blade that I have come across. I work in plastics plant and we use sawzalls to cut up the nonconforming product to be reworked. I have tried several blades and they all bend and break. These blades are made from a thicker metal and can stand up to some real rough treatment. If you are hard on blades, these are the ones for you.

Milwaukee Review Warning About Using with Other Brands
I purchased this item becuase it the description says that it fits "many other popular routers." That may be true, however it doesn't fit Ryobi routers. The mounting rods of this router guide are approximately 2 1/4 inches on center, and about 1/4" in diameter. If you don't have a Milwaukee router that's listed as compatible, you may want to check the spacing and size out before buying.

I am sure that I would have given it 5 stars had it actually fit my router :)

Milwaukee Review does what it's supposed to do
I love my Milwaukee router, so when looking for an edge guide, I went with the same brand.

The edge guide was easy to install, and once the distance was set it worked as well as you'd expect an edge guide to work.

However, I found the Fine Adjustment setting to be impossible to use. It is held in place by the same screw that clamps it securely to the rails. Loosening the screw in order to adjust the distance caused the guide to slip from the rails, which made it impossible to adjust smoothly and accurately. Knowing what I know now, I'd look for a different edge guide.

Milwaukee Review Milwaukee Router Edge Guide
I used the guide, attached to a jig, for making flutes in the pilasters of a large book case. It worked superbly, by far easier to adjust than the edge guide for Craftsman routers. The only drawback is the limited documentation, including the lack of instructions for attaching the guide to the router base. That was an annoying first time out of the box problem but it is quickly solved.

Milwaukee Review Piece of JUNK
I probably had less than 30 minutes use of this thing before knowing it was junk. I wrote a note to Milwaukee about it and they offered to fix it. Not what I wanted because I knew alrady it was never going to be good. But sent it in and they put $45 in parts. Believe it or not but since I have used it hours and still hate it! But has not given any more mechanical problems. Only worst engineered tool Milwaukee probably ever made. I don't think any other random orbit sander has no brake system! I used a De Walt many hours before buying this thing and only reason for not buying De Walt is that I don't like their products. Biggest mistake yet! I recommend the DE Walt!

Milwaukee Review Little sander packs a punch!
This sander is a replacement for my old Porter Cable. I am very impressed with this unit. It has more than enough power and the vibration from the unit is very minimal. With my old Porter it would take twenty minutes after sanding to get feeling back in my hand. The only downside to this product is the housing. The plastic used for this is slick and shiny. I am hoping after continued use it will wear a bit. This sander is already my favorite over my Mikita and Porter Cable.

Milwaukee Review An awesome little sander
I bought this sander about 8 months ago to replace an old Makita pad sander. I've used it frequently and have had excellent results. It starts very smoothly, runs quietly and virtually vibration-free and does a great job with all grits and on every surface I've used it on. I've used it all types of wood and even some metal. It leaves no swirl marks, even when pressing down hard. About the only minor issue I've found with it is that it gets pretty warm right on top where your palm rests. It's not a big problem and it's really just a very minor annoyance and doesn't detract from the sanding capabilities in the least. This is a great little addition to any serious woodworker's shop.

Milwaukee Review Builder
This Milwaukee 4.5" gringer is the tool for me. I just trashed a couple of nonames gringers.

Milwaukee Review You can't beat Milwaukee quality
Milwaukee Electric tools are the best power tools available. This grinder is awesome, very comfortable to use and it has plenty of power. This is a great deal since it includes the metal case. Don't waste any time looking at the other brands, this is the cream of the crop.

Milwaukee Review Tough and versatile
Milwaukee's tools have a great reputation for toughness and longevity. This grinder is all that and more. Its steel case is a big help in keeping the garage neat and the flexibility in choosing handle positions as well as the lock-on switch are more useful than you would initially think, allowing you to work in many more positions.

In addition to making short work of nearly anything metal, just strap on a sanding disc and have at any wood surface you please, making this a really useful tool to have.

This tool would make Tim Allen go "Oook ook ook".

Milwaukee Review Very good saw with one very large problem
I have had this saw for a couple of years. The tool is built very well and I have had no technical problems, BUT it does not have a zeroing adjustment for the miter. My saw is off a degree or two and there is no adjustment. Using paper shims to get an accurate cut is disgraceful. Also, if you need to make an angle cut near the detents, forget it. If all your going to do is cut studs, this saw is fine-if your going to make picture frames-find a different tool.

Milwaukee Review Milwaukee compound slide magnum
I have a delta sawbuck and a milwaukee slide compound and I give both of them 5 stars. The difference between them is that the Milwaukee is more portable and the delta has a larger fence and work surface. I would have bought another sawbuck but unfortunately delta discontinued manufacturing this product so I bought the Milwaukee and am very much satisfied.

Milwaukee Review Product already used when it arrived
DO NOT buy this product from this company. I received this product this evening, opened it up out of the UPS box and immediately saw that the Milwaukee box had been opened up quite a few times. I took the Impact Wrench out of the box and it had scratches and dust all over it. This had clearly been used and I couldn't believe it. BTW, this tool does not come with a charger or battery, that cost extra.

Milwaukee Review You gotta be kiddin me!!!!!!!
This Milwaukee 18 volt impact wrench is unreal!!!!!!

I have owned it for three months now and I have yet to find
its limmit. Tire lugg nuts are a joke evan on a 18 wheeler!
I have driven 3/4 inch by 10 inch long lag bolts with no pilot
holes, straight thru 4x6 beams into stucco and thru the wall studs no problem!!! Yes I said with no pilot holes.
And just for fun I drove a one inch by 12 inch long lag bolt into
the end of a pressure treated 4x6, with ease.

I removed a rusted 7/8 inch nut that was imposssible to do by hand. The tool is big and heavy no doubt about it but not too
big or too heavy. It does have excellent ballance and is extremley rugged. This much power in a tool does have its down
side, after removeing 4 tires and replacing them the battery is
showing signs of fatigue and after 4 of the 3/4 inch by 10 inch
lag bolts the battery is dead. (those are huge bolts)

If you do this kind of thing often your better off with a corded
impact gun. But I have found the cordless to be very handy.
If the tool stands the test of time its a huge winner!!!!!!

Great price, Great value and I'm back in business.

Milwaukee Review Great advice
I was on here and just about ready to purchase this, I read the review about jumping the batteries, and sure enough it worked. Great advice. Just send an email to the Milwaukee tool expert and you can regain yours...

Milwaukee Review Jump Start Your Battery
I thought one of my batteries was dead. I had not used the drill in about 3 months. Before buying a replacement, I sent an email to Milwaukee to see if there was a fix. The answer was YES. These batteries, like many others, will continue to drain especially if attached to the drill. Just like with a car, you can jump start the batteries. Send an email to Milwaukee customer service and they will email you the jump start instructions including a diagram. I got a reply in less than 24 hours and it was FREE.
