I guess the old addage it true --You get what you pay for -- If this were a local purchase I would ask for my money back .....this battery loses it`s charge right away ... I feel it was a reclaimed item that didn`t respond to it`s rehab treatment -- I have left it on extensive charge and it still poops-out during the first usage .... I would not even give this a single star if there was any other choice

I actually picked this up at my local tool store. I needed a blade to rip some plywood cleanly and the price was right. I thought that with this blade I could avoid the hassle of my corded circular saw.

As I was purchasing this, the salesman raised his eyebrows and expressed some doubt about the blade. He was right.

The thing ended up being virtually useless. The cuts took forever and the saw screeched like a stuck pig as I tried to push it through the plywood.

To be fair, I guess it is possible that the problem resides with my particular PC cordless circular saw (it's refurbished) and that the problem is not the blade. However, given that the person I bought the blade from had expressed doubts, I think it's the blade.

This product is incorrectly listed. The Porter-Cable 12330 hook-shank blade has 14 teeth per inch (tpi) and not 6 as stated in the listing. Even the photo is wrong - it shows a #12320. Get with it, Amazon! IF, if, if one can actually buy the 12330 blade, it is great for cutting non-ferrous metals - smooth cuts and long-lasting.

I have had nothing but trouble with this order. And I still have not received the order. Sold thru Amazon? Can;t get in contact with them to find out why. Beward of buying anything thru Amazon sold by others.

I own a set of the Porter Cable cement shears and the Kett cement siding shears. The are exactly the same except the Porter Cable has a button to lock shears in the on position. They both have the same problem. The bolts that hold the blades in break very easily and are a pain to replace.They need to use stronger bolts in these things.The guy I work with has same shears with the same broken bolts.
If you do buy these and need replacement blades, buy the ones for the Kett.You get all three blades for less than what you pay for just the center Porter Cable Blade.They fit perfectly.

Paper falls off after a few minutes of use, then cant be re-attached. I want a paper that comes off when I take it off, not whenever it feels like it..Stick to Norton.

Charger failed after being shipped to job site. Was in original kit and inside sturdy crate. Is it sensitive to cold soak ie unheated trailers. How to I get repair data

Before you spend your hard earned cash on a new battery, THIS BATTERY IS INTENDED TO BE USED WITH THE 9826 DRIVER/DRILL,,,before you buy this battery for any other 19.2v tool,,, consider this. That 1.3 a/h rating is barely over half of the 2.4 a/h rating on part # 8923. The a/h rating refers to 1 ampere of flow per hour. This could be just as difficult as explaining horse power, torque and thier relationship to distance traveled vs. time. So I'll not try to explain in detail,,BUT, relatively speaking, the 2.4 a/h rating means that the tool you are using at a specified load, ALL other conditions equal, should outlast the 1.3 a/h rated battery by nearly double.

That's NOT to imply that your battery will last 1.3 hours or 2.4 hours, other factors apply and determine the run-time of your tool. Resistance within the tool, Temperature, Load (of the work being done), and most importantly Voltage, and the fact that the voltage drops as time goes by. Charging also is a major factor in run-time and overall battery life. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for charging and never expect a battery to reach full charge in 1 hour even if they claim to have a 1 hour charge cycle. Run your batteries as flat as you can (free wheeling) after it loses power,, then charge it for at least 3 to 4 hours, 8 hours to over-night for the best results. Never leave a battery on a fast charger for a week, a month or longer. I left one on a job-site for a weekend that turned into a week. when I came back (from helping clean up and restore temporary power at another site with tornado damage) the battery and the charger were fried.

You've spent the money on a high performance tool,,, High Voltage in the arena of cordless, hand held power tools,,, NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO TRY TO SAVE A BUCK OR TWO !!! A battery is a delicate and moody instrument, used properly it will make your tools much more pleasant to use. Shopping carefully will also net you a reliable and long lasting, powerful replacement battery.

Again, the part numbers are,
8830 the 1.3 a/h wich is intended for the 9826 driver/drill,
8823 the 2.0 a/h wich is 50% higher rated,
8923 the 2.4 a/h wich is 85% higher rated.

Not sure if mine is a factory defect or if it's just under powered. It can't run a small 2.5 hp compressor and skill saw at the same time. This isn't a problem for other generators over 5000 watts. I'm bringing it in to the dealer tomorrow to see if it's a defect. Very disappointed

Haven't gotten it yet, but I've been waiting for 2 months for 2 of these things. I've received 3 emails postponing the delivery. Must be a hard puppy to get...
