Good workhorseI have been using this motor to power a fan in a spray booth for about ten years. The Baldor motor is a dedicated workhorse for daily use. The only problem I have had with it is that the wires in the connection box (which is very small) tend to burn off at the connection to the hard incoming wire. I have been able to cut them back and reconnect them and still use the motor which itself hasn't given me any problems. I run this motor about 9 hours a day, 6 days a week and haven't worn it out. $ for $ a good investment.

Black & Decker - VersaPak Gold Battery!Black & Decker - VersaPak Gold Battery! I like using B&D VersaPak Tools for light duty hobby activities in my laboratory. The interchangeability is a handy feature. I have used many batteries including B&D VersaPak Gold and Silver. The GOLD Batteries due last longer than the Silvers. In my opinion, 60% is stretching it. Depending on cycles to include complete discharge, amount of use and other factors, 40-50% would be more accurate. The GOLD Batteries are not as impacted by the "memory" fade that the silvers are. For the same price or up to a couple dollars more per battery, the GOLD Batteries are a better buy.

A great all-in-one set.Almost a 5-star product, but I have a few minor complaints. First, the quick-change bit doesn't fit in the nifty little case container with all the rest of the pieces! Not a complete tragedy since it will probably spend most of its time in your screwdriver or drill. Also the bonus screwdriver's "DeWalt" label was peeling off fresh out of the box, kinda cheesy and not the quality you'd expect from these guys normally.
Most of these bits seem to come coated with oil. I've seen this before, and I assume that it is to prevent rust. Still, beware because it'll get all over you and whatever you're working with unless you clean em off thoroughly before use.

Good performer, with a few problemsPros:
- Very lightweight, not tiring to use
- Non-rusting fiberglass
- Lopper works well
- Saw is extremely sharp and cuts much more quickly that the pole saws I remember using 20 years ago.
- Blade is easily replaceable
Cons:
Handle easily slides completely off the rope - suggest you add a stopper knot.
The collar that clamps onto the upper and lower poles is troublesome. It grips fine on the upper pole. But it tends to slip off the lower pole during moderately vigorous sawing. It helps if you tighten the screws, but that doesn't completely prevent the problem.
While fixing the lower pole after it comes lose, don't insert it fully into the collar. If you do, the upper pole will be long enough to pop off the plastic cap on the bottom of the lower pole (I eventually threw out the cap).
Bottom line:
I'm keeping it because it's a pleasure to cut with and gets the job done quickly. But I often carry pliers when using it, to fix the pole when it starts slipping.

Quite good (but not perfect)I had been wanting a rainfall style showerhead for a few years but felt somewhat overwhelmed by the prices. When this one went on sale at a local store, it was my lucky day.
My roommates were worried that our shower nozzle was too old to attach such a new showerhead. Not so - it fit fine. On top of that, it was super-easy to install. In fact, including the time it took me to remove the old showerhead and install the Cascadia, it took no more than 5 minutes to get everything set up. The flexible hose is great. It's strong enough to hold the rather heavy showerhead above even my 6'+ tall roommate's head with lots of room to spare, and yet, the hose is not so rigid that it's a pain to move if we need to adjust it.
Now for the not so fantastic stuff:
1) There is a flow-control regulator. It is there to keep the water flow down to 2.5 gallons per minute (I think) in areas where there are laws restricting water flow. It will make the water pressure feel very low. However, Waterpik is kind enough to include instructions on how to remove the regulator if you have problems with water pressure. (Unless your water pressure is AMAZING, I recommend removing it before you even install the showerhead.) The directions are simple enough to follow, but you will need a pair of needlenose pliers to take everything out, so make sure they are handy. Also, the pieces that you are removing are small, so don't do it over an open drain or anything you might lose them down.
2) The shape of the water flow leaves something to be desired. I do love the fact that there are both the concentrated, high-force flow and the drenching rainfall downpour. The smaller, center area of the showerhead is great for rinsing soap out of long hair and sponges. However, when I'm using the rainfall mode, I can very much feel the 2" diameter gap in the middle. I wish there were a way to have the whole showerhead on at once for rainfall mode.
On the whole, I am very happy with my purchase. (I think that the fact that I didn't pay full-price makes me slightly happier.) If you can find this someplace on sale, snatch one up. It is definitely an improvement over the average showerhead.

Effective Cleaning MachineAfter using the machine for the first time, I did notice that the carpet does obtain a pleasant odor by using Hoover detergent cleaner. The carpet is left dry and pretty clean. I also used the machine in my brother's apartment where he has a dog and three cats. A lot of hair gets pushed into the machine and clumps were left on the carpet. You really need a dry vacuum to get rid of the excess hair left by animals. You need to clean the machine after using it too because it gets clogged with hair and the detergent does not dissolve hair. I have used another brand for many years until it broke. All machines gave this problem with animal hair. By using warm water and detergent the carpet gets as clean as can be expected. After about a gallon of liquid waste you have to empty it out. You also have to add more hot water and detergent for really big jobs. The storage attachment for holding the extra hose to clean stairs is better left in the closet when not in use because it gets in the way. So in combination with a dry vaccum this wet vacuum can lead to a clean, pleasant smelling carpet. With animal accidents, it cleans up well. With animal hair, you really need the dry vacuum. It would be more effective if the detergent included an enzyme that cleaved hair so that it wouldn't clog the machine. Overall I am satisfied with machine as replacement for the other brand that broke.
Cleans GreatIt is easy to use, and did the best job cleaning our rug. Our dog had soiled the rug many times. This cleaner made the rug as good as new.

For J. Jackson "climaction"Buy a Dewalt charger like the DW9116. You can find them for $21 on Amazon.com, and they charge the B&D 12v and 14.4 v batteries just fine!
New battery pack works greatGot my new battery pack and successfully charged it. It retained the charge for several weeks before I actually used the battery pack with my cordless drill. Good deal for the cost!
Best price for replacement batteriesNeeded new batteries for my old firestorm drill. Amazon had the best price for hard to find older batteries! Bought two, they work great!

Might be good for some...I've thought about buying one of these holsters for quite some time now. Usually, if I'm fortunate enough to remember to bring it, I use one of the various hooks that are available on the market. I always thought that having a holster would make the act of storing and retrieving my drill a simpler process.
Alas... I was mistaken. With my DeWalt 14.4, the holster wants to twist and turn with my every movement. If I stand still, it's fine. When I climb a scaffold, or a ladder, or walk anywhere -- the drill is not where I left it. Often it has twisted itself inside the holster in such a way that I can't get it out with one hand. Hardly an improvement over holding it between my legs.
Perhaps if the holster had a strap at the bottom to hold it against the leg this wouldn't be an issue.
I haven't given up yet. I'll try a few more configurations with the holster, but so far it's been sitting in my truck. It's too big to use with either set of nail bags I have, and even on it's own the above-mentioned problems make it more trouble than it's worth.

Bought it... collects dust... Bought drill HookJust get the hook, this holsterfits my drill fine but when you are on a laddertrying to move around it is too bulky.
ok for some thingsNot for use with small drills or impact guns...not for use with drill bits (will stab your self guys think about it...lol) but good for general use drill like say 18v dewalt or such...just remember no drill bits...darn that smarts...lol

Good idea, not very durable. This product is a good idea. You can hold about five coils of roofing nails at a time. Unfortunately, it broke (belt loop) the first day that I used it. I plan on repairing it with rivets. Would a 2 liter pop bottle with the top cut off and a riveted belt loop work about as good?
Roofing Coil Caddy ReviewThe product is something that has been needed in the construction/remodeling industry for quite some time. It beats sticking the coil of nails in a tool pouch. I would like to see some flexibility in the product when attached to the tool belt. I found when using it and bending over, the nails had a tendency to roll out of the caddy and down the roof.
Great helper! The Prazi Coil Caddy is a great idea. Helps a lot while roofing because it saves you steps. I don't like the sharp edges; just keep it behind your hip.
