Tool Brands Review End user in mind.
After getting tired of scraping knuckles in a large pouch, tearing holes in pants pockets, and trying other products, I have found a product that works. The scabbord does just what it says. A left handed model would make this a 5 star product. It's functional, easy to find your square/tape/pencil without having to look all of the time. It's also very durable, a definite PLUS. As a hobbyist, I look for products that will give me a lifetime of service, easy to work with, versitile, and dependable. The Layout Square Scabbord does all of this. I'm very pleased with this product.

Tool Brands Review Compact and lightweight
Being a do-it-yourselfer, I have not yet invested in one of those "everything" tool belts. Thus far, I have always just stuffed my speed square in the biggest available pocket, and then pushed it out of the way when I needed something else in the same pocket. This speed square scabbard makes all the difference. It is compact and lightweight, yet it is extremely durable. And it frees up some extra space in my tool belt! I only wish that it came in a left hand model (not a big deal, but it sure would be convenient!!).

Tool Brands Review Solves a problem very well
Most pouches don't come with a good place for a square and the darn things are always falling out or poking you in the ribs or something. This scabbard is well made and clips onto a pants pocket with a metal clip or it can be slid onto the belt using the loops on the back of the scabbard. The extra pouch and pencil slots are nice too. The material looks nice and is very resistant to wear, damage and fluids. I heartily reccomend it if you carry a sqaure often.

Tool Brands Review Fine Tool Set
Though not the most expensive you can find, for the price I know I will get my use out of these chisels. This will be the lifetime set I will surely take care of. And now I am planning to get the gouges to match (and make a case for each.)

Tool Brands Review Excellent Product for the Price!
I was hit with a late minute Christmas List and knowing my Son, who takes pride in his wood working tools.
I was in the market for a "good" Woodworkers Chisel Set when I came across this set which was highly recommended to purchase if I saw it. And not to mention the price$$$...
Thank you so much! It will make my Son's Christmas when he receives this gift...

Tool Brands Review Excellent for the price
The freud set compares well with the Marples and the Footprint sets that I have. Although the Freud set is Chrome Vanadium steel, compared to the Sheffield steel of my other chisels, they sharpened very well out of the box, and they seem to hold an edge as well as the other sets. For a ten piece set, the price was outstanding, and the set also came very nicely boxed. I haven't cut any dovetails yet, but I like the low profile for the outside edge, it should make cutting the pins very smooth. I highly recommend this set.

Tool Brands Review Very good performance, a few issues...
I bought this sprayer back in August and must say in general I really like it. It does a great job delivering the paint evenly, and the spray gun is pro-level.

Cons: The 25' hose broke the second time I used it. It started to leak right at the swivel, and I had paint oozing out before I shut it off. I had to go to Lowe's and buy a 50' hose which cost me another $50, but this hose has lasted through several uses.

Also, the output gasket has to be replaced frequently. This gasket broke on my third use. I called Wagner and they told me the output gasket must be replaced every 15 to 20 gallons of paint. I told them I had run less than 5 gallons of paint through it, and they agree to send me a new one for free.
Also, although they claim this is for the "heaviest" applications, I just used it to spray Glidden's Gripper (primer)which you need a .015 tip. I bought the tip, and the second gasket blew after only about 5 gallons. I guess this is a little too thick for this machine, but they say it's ok in their literature.

In a nutshell, this machine delivers excellent performance, but if you're painting the entire exterior of your house like me, expect it to need maintenance.

Tool Brands Review Stellar performer
I would highly recommend the purchase and use of this sprayer. The spray was very professional like and you can knock out a wall in what seems like only a few minutes. I laid it down a little too light and realized after about 4 walls that I could have just sprayed it on pretty heavy if I wanted to. The sprayer is a professional type sprayer, dealing with the hose is a hassle but as fast as this sprayer lets you do the job you can deal with the hose. It could use a swivel. This sprayer will spray latex paint right out of the can, I didn't filter it out because I was just too anxious to get to work with it and finish the job. Clean up requires time and patience, and reading the instructions is a must. Also putting this guy away for the night because you can't spray until you've masked everything, requires that you read the instuctions carefully and follow it to the tee. If you tape and mask everything before you spray you can finish the spray painting part of it in a day. Pressure washing can take a week, and masking can take a whole day plus. But spraying is a breeze with this guy. One last thing, the hopper will empty out pretty quick, you'll need more paint than what is normally recommended. about 25% more. As a result, the cost of the paint, masking and paint accessories, renting pressure washing, purchasing this paint sprayer and renting a scaffold saved us thousands over the professional painters quote. It took a lot of time because this is not our livelihood, but in the end very satisfied with the results.

Tool Brands Review Incredible sprayer for the $
I've rented airless sprayers before from the "orange" store. This sprayer works better than anything I've rented before. I got the pump out of the box, assembled it with 2 screws and glanced over the instructions. I sprayed 1 1/2 gallons of satin white latex on some waincot I installed the previous weekend. The machine performed flawlessly. This thing sprays really, really nice. Clean-up was typical of an airless. 1/2hr. and I was ready to put it away. Only drawback was the hose. It needs a swivel in the worst way. Other than that, the machine really impressed me (and I'm not easily impressed). Glad I purchased and highly recommend.

Tool Brands Review Bucket Boss Once Again Equals Quality
Super waist apron fits quite well, and is comfortable to wear!

Tool Brands Review The Answer
Everybody is looking for the answer to the question "What kind of toolbelt is best?". The answer is right here.

This apron has pockets large enough for a speed square, a dedicated tape pocket in the center and 2 hammer loops. In other words, it will actually hold the bulky stuff. Along with that,it has small pockets for pencils, nail sets and punches or small pry bars. Then throw in your torpedo level, utility knife and a couple of screwdrivers, along with some pliers and maybe a chisel or two.It will hold all that plus a couple handfuls of fasteners.

The great thing about this apron is that with all that capacity it is less than half the weight of a regular toolbelt. If you pick your tools according to the job at hand, you will feel like you're not dragging a load at all. It's also smaller than regular toolbelts, which makes climbing ladders and getting into tight spots a breeze. Absolutely the most efficient tool rig around!

Tool Brands Review Is this going to do the job for me?
I was provided a hard shell tool kit at work. I prefer a soft tool kit & having lots of tools and assorted items I wanted a toolkit that I could carry over my shoulder that would make it easier with the extra weight and leave my hands free to carry parts that would not fit (or normally carry) in my tool bag. I looked at Time Motion Tools, Techni-Tool, Specialized Products, Jensen & Black Box. All of these companies carried the soft toolkits, but the price everywhere was way too high for me. Also, they came in the breifcase format that left me without free hands & was harder with the heavy tools to carry. I found this tool backpack & one from Jensen (over $130). The Jensen model had flip out pallets, extra pockets on the outside and was bigger overall. The Bucket Boss was a bit smaller, had no flip-out pallets and had a removable extra toolkit on the outside (it comes with a shoulder strap to carry just this toolkit if you dont need all your tools). The cost & design made me go with the Bucket Boss Backpack. THE GOOD: This item is made of heavy material & the quality of design was great. This toolkit holds all of my tools & documents, while I keep my LAN tester and other CAT5 equipment in the removable bag. This makes it easier if I am just working with cables & it allows me to leave it at home/office when I am not using it (I love this, as my expensive tools and test equipment will not get lost if the backpack is stolen/lost). THE BAD: The tool pockets are all generic vs. other tool kits that have specific holders for tools (i.e. pliars) and they are not deep enough for my screwdrivers to go in tip down. I would have also prefered that the tool holders would have been on the back of the case (when you open the backpack up, the tool holders are on the side where the removable pouch is. The side that is close to you has straps for holding things down. THE MISC: The keyholder shown in the picture is not included. There is a keyholder in the removable bag though. You do have pleny of places on the back above the removable bag to attach keys & items in the d-rings. There is also a pocket behind the removable bag, but it would only hold paper or other thin items. The straps seem sturdy enough (my pack weighs 20-25lbs). This is a great buy for your money & it is cheaper here on amazon.com than any other place I found it. There are 12 interior tool pockets inside the pack & 11 pockets in the removable bag (the size of the pockets in the removable bag are varied while the backpack has just 2 sizes of pockets). You can carry many tools in this case, I even have a plastic tray that I carry inside the pack for connectors, screws & other loose items. One big plus is when traveling overnight, you can even carry your clothes in the backpack along with your tools to keep down on your total bags you have to carry. Overall, for a toolkit at a resonable price, this is an excellent main or travel toolkit!

Tool Brands Review smart idea
Each time I need to set up a new truck or trailer I put together 3 of these sets. 1 for fastners, 1 for electrical, and 1 for plumbing. They keep the truck well organized and save me the lost time of having a man run to the hardware store for a few inserts. They are one of the best ways I have of keeping supplies on hand. If I could change anything about the tray it would be to have a tray divided into 6 sections for smaller parts.

Tool Brands Review Let's Get Organized !!
This set of four stacker system, with four compartments each, has greatly aided me in trying to keep my shop organized with the various screws, nails and brads that I use in my craft business. Each compartment is labeled and I know that the exact item that I am looking for is in the "screw" bucket. It has eliminated the boxes of stuff from piling up on the workbench.

Better yet, when I go off to a craft show, I just take the bucket with me, and I know I have everything in hand that I could possibly need. Plus, when the supply of a compartment gets low, I know it is time to fill it up, rather than hunt through the various boxes on the work bench hoping that I have more.

I do have to watch the amount of hardware I put in the containers. Too much weight tends to make them a little "too flexible" and difficult to handle.

A great "investment" and time saver for me.

Tool Brands Review Perfect...Except
I purchased this holster for my new job at a local hardware store chain and found it to be great, even with a Stanley "L shape" knife (more contoured for your hand, like the knife in the picture). Only problem I found is the clip, it clips like a cell phone holster and I wear a tool belt so it would unclip from the belt and on to my pants. So because I carry more than just a knife I just purchased the Rear Gaurd 54045 by Bocket Boss, this sheath has a different clip system and I hope it works well.

Tool Brands Review Good sheath!
The belt clip is convenient and it easily holds larger utility knives. I primarily use fixed blade knives and find this sheath to be especially handy. The pencil holder is a nice touch.

Tool Brands Review massive suction but kind of dirty
So many good things about this vacuum, and a couple bad.
1. The suction if amazing, pulls tons of dirt out of carpet.
2. tons of features that are nice to have, control of brushroll etc
3. not all the dirt makes it into dirt cup, makes a mess when you pull it out.
4. hose is not long enough.
5. very heavy, i get a workout when doing the whole house, could be a good thing I guess.
6. Some of the plastic pieces feel and are very cheap. When I first took out of the box, I squeezed the tabs to release the hose from the vacuum, and one broke. I had to send the whole vacuum back. The stair attachment works great, but some of the plastic pieces that make up the attachment feel loose and may even be broken now.
All in all, i love this vacuum, couldnt afford the Dyson so im happy with what I have.

Tool Brands Review outstanding suction
I got this vacuum delivered on time. Easy to put together. Cleans like nothing I have ever used. The container that holds the dirt was full after one room that I thought was clean. It is utterly amazing how much this thing picked up. My wife and I were amazed since the carpet already looked clean. Words cannot do this thing justice. I had a Sears Kenmore before this and there is no comparison. The Kenmore was twice the price too. The only down fall is this thing is very heavy and hard to move on thick carpets. On bare floors and low carpet it works fine. Also has a speed control for the carpet brush as so not to damage any fine carpets. Great machine, great price, easy to use, but a little heavy if your a small person. Definite good buy.

DIVORCED GUY, 2 LONG HAIRED CATS, NEW HOUSE, HATE TO CLEAN. I SIGN ON TO CONSUMER REPORTS BEFORE MOST LARGE PURCHASES. FEEL THAT YOU USUALLY CANNOT GO WRONG. LET ME TELL YOU, IF THIS VAC LASTS IT WILL GO DOWN ON MY FAVORITES LIST. BEING IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE BUSINESS, (AUTO REPAIR, 37 YEARS, I CONSTANTLY HEAR PEOPLE WHINE, COMPLAIN AND NITPICK. FEW WILL EVER TAKE THE TIME TO PRAISE OR SAY THANKS. THE NEW VAC, ASSEMBLED WITHOUT EFFORT, (2 SCREWS. AFTER READING THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET, (WHICH NO - ONE DOES EVEN ON A $30,000.00 AUTOMOBILE), WORKS GREAT! SO POWERFUL. SINCE ALL VACS WORK ON THE PRINCIPAL OF A MOTOR DRIVEN IMPELLER OR TURBINE, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE SAY IT IS NOISEY?? (ACTUALLY FAIRLY QUIET FOR A VAC!) HEAVY??, WELL, IF IT WASN'T MADE WELL, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT. (GO GET ONE MADE OF STYROFOAM OR MARSHMALLOWS IF YOU WANT LIGHT!!) READ AND FOLLOW THE OWNER'S MANUAL. EMPTY THE CUP AFTER EACH ROOM IF YOU HAVE PETS, AND CLEAN THE FILTERS ONCE A WEEK. IT TAKES LITTLE TIME. AMAZING VALUE FOR THE MONEY. I DO NOT WANT TO PUT DOWN ANY OF THE DOOR TO DOOR, TV, OR MAJOR ADVERTIESED BRANDS, I GUESS IF YOU ANALYZE THEIR BUSINESS MODEL THAT IS HOW THEY JUSTIFY THEIR PRICES. THANKS EUREKA, FOR THE GREAT JOB.

Tool Brands Review Good only for a few applications
I think the concept of this hose is a good one. Carrying the vacuum bag for the Leaf Hog over your shoulder is cumbersome, and having to empty the vacuum bag so frequently becomes old very quickly. But I found that the Leaf Hog didn't have strong enough suction to warrant the use of this hose attachment. It took me quite a while to suction up the pile of leaves that I had raked from out from under some shrubs, and I think using a rake or shovel to scoop the leaves up would have saved a lot of time. I felt that the canvas sack on the end of the hose that attaches to the trash can did stay attached fairly well (I have a square-shaped opening on my trash can), and the hose seems fairly durable. I suspect a longer hose would get clogged too easily, so I had no problem with the hose's length. But I feel that the only really good use for the Leaf Hog and this hose attachment would be to vacuum up really fine particles (such as hemlock needles) that would otherwise be difficult to rake. If you find that your Leaf Hog offers strong enough suction to get leaves up easily, then I would recommend this item because it makes the leaf-vacuuming process much lighter since you don't have to lug a heavy leaf bag over your shoulder while vacuuming with the Leaf Hog. But I will be going back to the old rake-and-scoop method.

Tool Brands Review Leaf Blower
What a machine. Lots of power. The vacuming is great. Goes right into garbage can and I can then easily take it to the garden for mulch. Love it.

Tool Brands Review Best Accessory EVER!!!
OK, I read all of the other reviews before I purchased this item and took into consideration all of the problems other people were having.

Here's the deal...for best results, purchase a trash can with a square top, not a round top. I found one at Wal-mart for $18 that the hose cover fits perfectly! The can has wheels on it, so it is very easiy to move around as it fills with debris. Also, you should utilize the little cord snap device located on the hose end that connects to your machine to help prevent the hose from coming off. Not one time did my hose come off, or did the cover come off of my trash can. I filled up 37 bags of leaves in my back yard in less than half the time it took me to fill up 22 bags in my front yard by hand!!

The only downside to the whole thing is that the hose builds up static electricity while in use, and if you don't let it touch the ground periodically, it will give you a nice little shock if it touches you. Just enough of a shock to motivate you to pick up more leaves!

This thing is great, and those who have a problem with it just don't know the trick. I gues B & D could have specified to use a square top trash can for best results, but oh well, live & learn!
